During my last visit, Dec.11.2024 my vehicle was unfortunately damaged while being serviced. While I appreciate that your team replaced and painted the damaged part, the paint does not match the rest of the vehicle. This is not acceptable, and I need the issue corrected. To make matters worse, I have been struggling to obtain a loaner vehicle to facilitate the necessary repairs. This delay has been incredibly inconvenient and has left me feeling overwhelmed. Lone Star Cadillac Paint & Body Collison center is a joke, I bought my car here so I thought when I needed any kind of work done I would bring it back here to the Cadillac place thinking they would do a better job because I thought they specialized in Cadillacs. Well I was so wrong on that. I ran over a piece of tire on the highway and messed up the car, so we took it back to Lone Star Cadillac to get it fixed, we pointed out to them everything that was wrong. So when they called and said it was ready for us to pick up, they had to repaint the front bumper, you could tell as soon as we pulled up that the color didn't match, a part of the side grill don't fit right didn't even line up with the rest of the car. Didn't even touch the small whole in the front grill that was broke. the bottom skirt on the passenger side still very loose, there is a strip between the hood and the bumper that was bent and didn't line up, that was not fixed either. so i am trying to understand why they called and said it was ready and there was nothing about it ready, really it was unacceptable, Lone Star Cadillac must not care who represence there name because this was a piss poor job. So it went back in the shop never kept me updated like they did the first time. My time ran out for my rent a car, I asked the Cadillac place if they could give me a car and they said no. So when it was ready again, i get there and the piece between the hood and the bumper still didn't line up, the skirt on the passenger side still loose. So the man said there was somebody still working and he would get them to see what they could do, so the car went back for the 3rd time and it didn't take them 15 minutes to fix it. So why didn't they do that the first time? Bottom line is don't take your vehicle to Lone Star Cadillac to get it worked on. This place does not deserve any stars but i had to put one for this to post. read more

I give the service department a 1 star. I had a 10a appointment take my vehicle in on Thursday morning. I was told I would be given status of what was going on with my vehicle later afternoon. The service consultant did not answer my calls for the rest of the day. I called on Saturday three times, I still didn't get a response. The receptionist took a message the very last time I called on Saturday and stated she would give him the message. On Monday afternoon, I still had not received a call. I called and spoke with a different consultant. He informed me of the issue, and it was under warranty. This is on Tuesday, days later. The issue was my struts. The struts caused my tires to wear. I was told I needed new tires (the tires looked fine when I drove the vehicle to the shop). The tires had 20k left on the warranty of them. The consultant said - the warranty wouldn't be a warrantable item due to the tires are just worn in, there is no defect to warranty them under. THIS WAS TOTALLY UNTRUE!!! -The vehicle has 40k miles on it and issue was due to Cadillac's part malfunctioning. I inquired about compensation for the wear and tear from the damage of the struts. I was told they don't do any compensation for that. I called the manufacturer of the tires, and they opened a case and told me to take the tires to a dealer (manufacturer of the tires) so they could determine if anything could be prorated. I informed the dealer. Conveniently the consultant, Isaiah and his manager, Joe were not there when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. I spoke with their manager, Maurice. He said they disposed tires before I could get there which was one hour after having discussion about compensation. All of this seems to be looking a Garland Cadillac trying to make a sell since everything else was under warranty. I only gave a 1 star because it was the least I could give. read more

We recently bought a 2023 Escalade Sport. We were lied to about rear entertainment being the same as originals , got some cheap knock off ones. The management team did not want to refund the money even though they were at fault, said that they already had paid for the aftermarket screens and did not make it right for us. We were always assured it would be the originals screens therefore we did not ask no further questions. If aftermarket was never mentioned that wouldve of been a deal breaker for us. I will not be recommending this dealership in the future to none of my colleagues. read more

This dealership offers beyond terrible service. Totally different experience with both sales and service since Massey sold it and not in a good way. Took one week for an oil change and seat rattle for 1st service appt. and 2nd appt. was told no more loaner vehicles so I will have to sit and wait...I think the new owner needs to take some lessons from Carl Sewell. Huge letdown as I find the service of my vehiclr to be the most important thing. Will buy another Lexus or Mercedes next time. We could've bought a car the day we went in but the guy wasn't thinking straight. The deal we offered was denied but another car would've worked but not offered as an option. We came home and worked the numbers and contacted them. Ironically they accepted our offer which was basically what we offered when there. We went back and were told we could get any issues taken care of after paperwork. When we went to leave and was handed paperwork they gave us one key. When asked where the other was it was passed off onto someone else, and back again. We were told since we didn't request 2 keys at sale we will only get one if we pay $400 for it. Really?!?!? Service department gets 2 thumbs down. Had our car for 32 days. Kept promising next day ready etc. had to make multiple phone calls to see when our car would be ready. Even the supervisor told us it would be ready 'the next day' and that was almost 2 weeks ago. Then never heard back. Had to keep calling. Then finally get our car back today. It's dirty. Didn't even vacuum it out or spray outside down. Piss poor. That's what we describe this experience as. Asked for loaner car after it was there for 2 weeks. Told oh yes I have one. Then oh no we don't. Called again for loaner told our warranty should cover it and they could call for us and let us know....once again didn't call back to let us know about rental possibility. Our service guy was fast talking salesman like telling us yesterday that he was looking over the car making sure it's perfect when we finally get to pick it up. Didn't even have the decency to give it a wash! Even left the plastic trash inside the car from the parts. Give me a break. Should be ashamed of such lack of service. The GM they told me to ask for left 2 days ago AND the car was not there!! The GM (Jeff) told me they are a 'first come, first served' place. No courtesy whatsoever! And BEWARE!!! There is a reason their reviews are terrible, and I have waited to give this review hoping that they could redeem themselves, but they can't. I have never dealt with the likes of anything like Garland Cadillac. They claim to have the best prices to get you in with a price they never intend on honoring from the get-go. Thousands over the list price. They have all kids of fees that they hide in fine print until they get their wheeling and dealing "manager" in there to make it seem like you're really getting a deal by wearing them down. They eventually came down on the price enough to purchase the car, although I should have left immediately and gone with someone else. (Lesson learned.) Then onto financing with the most high-pressure salesman of the bunch. Thankfully we turned right around with our local credit union and got a much better deal and cheaper warranty (because he was flabbergasted to the point of being pushy and somewhat rude as to why we wouldn't pay for one). Long story somewhat short, I have had nothing but headaches with them in the past 6ish weeks since I have purchased my vehicle. My plates were lost in the mail, and they told my husband they were sent FedEx and would track them (by our salesperson, I believe). A month, and several UNRETURNED phone calls later, I was told they were sent regular USPS mail (with no tracking apparently, because they are that professional), and that I would have to take care of it myself. Thanks for that. Fantastic customer service right there... As the other 1-star reviewers would testify, please do not waste your time. I should have avoided them when reading the Yelp reviews ahead of time and not had the misfortune of stepping foot in that place. read more

Honestly, the only reason I didn't give them half a star is because I couldn't; and that half would only be for the nice gentlemen I spoke with who was ACTUALLY able to explain what was happening. However, HE still hasn't returned my call as promised to provide additional info for my upcoming Oil Change on my Cadillac. Anyhow, my experience with Lone Star Cadillac has been WELL below exceptional. I have to admit, I had very high expectations to begin with and that might be part of the problem. Where do I begin? I have a Chevy and a Cadillac that was sold to me by Garland and up until my most recent events with Lone Star, I have had a smooth experience. The issues started when Lone Star acquired Garland Cadillac. Firstly, there was ZERO communication on their part about this taking place so the place was Garland one day and Lone Star the next with no information being provided to us. I understand things like this happen all the time but at least make sure that your staff is properly informed. This way, we, the consumers, have all of the knowledge necessary about changes to our contracts/service plans. I brought my Chevy in to be serviced expecting that my plan that I paid for would still be in place with no problems. The rep who helped (Ruben) was very rude and clearly ignorant of the changes that were taking place as he did not explain everything to us in a thorough and professional manner. He needs to be coached because he clearly does not know how to provide proper customer service. Instead, he redirected us to the contract provider who then directed me BACK to the dealership's finance dept. The person in finance kept talking over me and wouldn't even allow me to speak at moments. I was transferred to a gentleman who claims to be the director and he was finally able to give me some clarity on the situation. And STILL I haven't gotten ALL of the information necessary. I'm now being told that my contract is managed by a dealer that isn't even within the GM family and is at LEAST 30 miles away from Lone Star. It all just doesn't make any sense and I'm left feeling like I'm being scammed because I paid for a package and have no idea if or where I can use it. My advice to you? Take your business ELSEWHERE. There are PLENTY of Cadillac dealers in DFW. Find one that will at least make you feel welcome and like you're getting what you are paying for. On top of all of that the District Manager reached out and promised that everything would be taken care of. But here I am still lost and confused about where to go for my oil change and never reembursed for the oil change I paid for out of pocket as promised. Cannot wait to purchase a Lexis or new Kia becuase I have heard so many great things about their service. read more

But couldn't leave of course. A call to GM's OnStar service started the quick process to reach you and dispatch your service tech. He arrived earlier than expected and knew just what needed to be done (38 yrs of service does help) to get to the battery (hidden in trunk of Cadillac ATS models). As I watched and learned I realized changing the battery was not something I would try at home. When it was all said and done just a little over an hour from the initial call to OnStar before we were on the road again. Thanks so much. read more

I reached out to their CSR before I went to post this review so issue could be resolved....no answer. I bought my car May 3rd in full...still do not have it. It did still need to be certified, so thay gave me a loaner. I had to reach out to them for updates on status and couldn't get a straight answer. They finally told me last Friday. (5/13) I could pick up 10 am on Saturday. After waiting hours at the dealership Saturday, they confirmed it still wasn't ready because a new battery had been installed and they needed to put 50 miles on the car to pass inspection. They offered yo let me take it to lunch to put some of those miles on it so I did. It wasn't just the miles needed. It wasn't detailed & one of the vents want working properly. So not only did I spend my Saturday morning and afternoon at the dealership where I was TOLD I could pick up my paid for car, once I brought it back it STILL needed more miles put on it, needed to be inspected, needed the vent fixed, and needed to be detailed. Im in still in the loaner. They attempted to have me pick up my car again yesterday 5/16, and after I asked if vent was fixed....the answer was no. So if I just took their word for it again....I would have picked up the car in vain and have to turn around and bring it back. This is tote the note dealership...this is CADILLAC. You pay for premium product and service which is what I have always had and why I bought another Cadillac...but this dealership in particular is a fail to the brand. Absolutely THE WORST! I purchased my cadillac ct6 through carmax and since my car is still under factory warranty when my vehicle was having issues they sent it over to garland Cadillac. The issues were the sun roof was not opening, knocking noise from suspension and a gear skip. They had my vehicle for 1 month in their shop. First they tried to give my car back after 2 weeks saying that there was nothing wrong with it and they were not able to duplicate the issues I mentioned only 1 time they felt a gear skip but then nothing I was like ok but you felt it right so it should not be doing that. So I told them I would not pick it up until they thoroughly inspected it because for sure I know something was wrong with it. Took them another 2 weeks and they said the same thing about suspension and sun roof issue but the transmission they did some type of clean service etc. Ok so they send it back to carmax where I pick it up and I checked the sun roof and it did work. Drive it home and again I tried to open the sun roof and bam again not working. Then I noticed inside my trunk it seems like the whole top fabric had been pulled down why I have no idea they had no business going in the trunk to begin with . And the worse of all is that I looked at the mileage and my car now has 700 more miles than when I brought it in! How do they put 700 miles on my vehicle while it is supposed to be getting serviced?!?! I am beyond upset and will take this as high as I have to go because this is such bs! read more

Saw an online ad for a car with certain mileage and price; was informed we could go in and look. Got there and the car we wanted to see was no where to be found. Instead they had us consider another Car they had just received. Drove it around the parking lot - that was the limit. Liked the car but upon further inspection discovered quite a few challenges which they said they'd have to address. Never got to see the car we wanted to see originally and considered buying. A week later they listed another one with similar features and price. Submitted an online inquiry and received a call back. Said we could go in the following day and look at it. Before going in, called them and informed them of the 3 cars we wanted to see. The missing one from the week before; the one with problems apparently resolved; and the newer one listed during the week we were invited to see. We were ready to buy. We were informed the newer one was not available. Okay, things happen but 2 weeks in a row and after we're invited in to see the car, what gives ... they aren't available. Just sounds a bit hinky. Since the drive is almost an hour notified them politely we just weren't willing to make the trip a second time for an unavailable car... again. You'd think they'd call back and want to resolve their incompetence; but no dice. Sadly, we moved on. Apparently things are so good they really didn't need our business. If there was a negative number I would give it. I personally consider this an elder abuse case. This dealership sent out a mailing that my 88 year old father with some memory issues took and visited the dealership. He had a 2+ year old Subaru with under 3500 miles. He came away with an unneeded Cadillac as his "prize" at a cost of $900+ a month for 7.5 years. I think he was embarrassed as family (who had been out of town when this happened) asked him about it. It has taken a few months to get the whole story. First, he didn't need a new car, second the pricing, third the $2000 they took off his trade in because the car was dirty. They said it would need repainting. (and they sold him a "coating" to protect the new car) Then we find out they told him the car would have no warranty unless he bought one. Really! A brand new car with no warranty!!! $12,000 worth of warranties!!! He is 88, he puts about 1000 miles a year on a car. Once we found out about the warranties we convinced him to cancel them. He was again told, if he cancelled the warranty he would have NO warranty on the car. And BTW it will take 6 - 8 weeks to get it cancelled and refunded. This story has been trickling out over the last few months. It gets worse every time a new piece of the puzzle is revealed. DO NOT TRUST this company! read more

I found my car that I love. However the final result from dealership was less than satisfied. My car so far(cross my fingers) is fine. But for an honest review of the entire transaction, not so great. I drove over 3 hrs from Ok to Tx for my purchase. I had been speaking with dealership for over 2 weeks prior to my test drive & purchase. I got many calls. Way over whelming. I talk to at least 10 different people the day I was driving to make purchase. Again way over whelming. Granted, the entire process was only around 3 hrs. I know going in what I wanted. I had done a lot of research for my car. The whole "no haggle" price is a crock. The internet price looks great, but of course they don't tell you about fee's. Yes dealerships has fees but these fees were outrageous. They wanted $1100 for "recon" fees. They wanted $150 Doc fee. Which I told them I could go buy paper for them. They only reason I ended up with the car is I had already planned out the finance and I was able to help my self with a down Pym. I will Not be a repeat customer. They should post the out the door price! That should be the respectable thing for the customers. No inspections cost $1100. No paper cost $150.00 Lets be real. If I hadn't of drove that far and wanted that car I would have walked. On top of that I was driving home 2 cars (which they knew) I didn't even get offered gas for my new car purchase. total bs dealership. Went to have my Cadillac repaired. Was talked into a $400 tune up. When I went to pick up my car, the invoice was very confusing hard to tell just what I was paying for. My car pulled up and it was dirty and the plastic on the seats and paper on the floors were still in. I had to clean it up to drive it. Then two warning lights came on my dash when I left. I called my service rep 2 times and left a message about the warning lights. A call was never returned. Finally I called the receptionist and then my service rep talked to me. I asked why they would not let me know about the two warning lights while it was in the shop? I explained how unhappy I was with the service. I said I had this feeling that the tune up was never completed. He simply stated it had. When I explained how upsetting it was that there were warning lights an my dirty car with plastic in the inside he said bring it back. Who has time to sit around an wait? I now have my car in another shop to determine if a $400 tune up had ever been completed. I would suggest going elsewhere!!!! read more

I purchased a 2017 XT5 last month from here. My salesperson was Ata, finance guy was Sonny, and the sales manager was so rude and unprofessional I didn't even care to remember his name. Sonny tried to sell me a warranty he said was good for 6 years, my credit union rep discovered it would have only been good for a year. Are they that desperate for commission, wow. Well I thought Ata was okay but after selling me a truck with bald tires, and no alignment I began to doubt him too. After owning the truck for a week, I had to bring it back to have it aligned, have a thermostat put on, and something on the computer had to be reset. Who puts a wheel alignment on a vehicle that tires have 25% tread, horrible sales folks, that's who! The guy George in the service department is awesome, but the service manager is a slime-ball that cares only about the bottom dollar. I now have the pleasure of bringing the truck back on tomorrow to have them check the shocks and struts, since I feel like I'm in a bounce house each time I drive over a rough surface, and to find out why the "service transmission" light is on. WOW!! What an amazing, hassle-free experience! Did most of the prelim stuff over email and the phone. They found exact pre owned vehicle I wanted with LOW mileage at the perfect price!! Gave me a quote (interest rate, payment, purchase term, etc.) before running my credit! The lovely saleswoman, Tresh, even FaceTimed me to show me the vehicle (I live 40 min away) to make sure I was happy with the condition of the vehicle. It was pristine!!! Completed the online credit app and spent 45 min in the office, test drive included, signed paperwork and out the door! Thank you so much to the lady in Finance for being up front about the 'extras' and getting me the perfect warranty package. My Wife and I just purchased our first Cadillac from Garland Cadillac a 2019 XT4 w/ the Premium Package March 2019. We have had a irritating noise from the Drivers Side Seat Cushion since new. We have just spent a week with the car in Service with no fix. This was the second attempt to correct the problem with the brand new car. The Service Dept. said they had no fix, contacted GM Support who had not fix and to add insult to injury they tell us the exact same car on the lot does the same thing ALTHOUGH the (2) loaner XT4s with lesser options the seats on those cars do not make a sound. Today I am picking up our car with a continued noisy Drivers Seat and we are not happy customers at all. I am having buyers remorse. I have had many new cars in my 57 years and never have I had a noisy new seat and if I ever had it was fixed at the first Service attempt. What should have happened is I should have been made aware at time of purchase that if I bought the best optioned XT4 available then I could expect a noise in the Drivers Seat. I would have either purchased a lesser XT4 or walked away and purchased either a Mazda CX5 or Acura RDX which I was also considering. I am not through dealing with this the dealership is not through hearing from me and Cadillac is not through hearing from me. read more

I drove over 3 hours to get a vehicle I already knew I liked from on the internet. The customer service was good at the store when purchasing the vehicle, but has been horrible, to say the least, since I left the store. It has been over 6 weeks since I purchased the vehicle and STILL HAVE NOT received the SD Card for the navigation that was promised to me (which is in writing...and they were acting hesitant to even sign that at the store). I've called 6 times since (once per week) and keep getting the excuse "we had a back order and a shipment just came in. We will make sure we get it out to you." Of course, I still have not received it and again tonight they are stating they are going to send it out next week. When spending over $30K on a car you would expect to get better follow-on service than this. Jeff (the general manager) and Renay S. (the sales associate) don't seem to be doing anything to resolve this issue. I would not recommend going back to this place. read more

Was VERY disappointed with this dealership. Bought a used 2013 Jeep Wrangler from them. Check engine light came on few days after I bought. Took to my mechanic. Her said looks like it's been in a wreck. Both axles bent among other issues. He said this car should have been sold for parts. When contacted dealership they said to bring in. They said absolutely nothing is wrong with car after inspection even though ABS/Traction light on whole time. They said to have our mechanic take videos of issue and send to them. We did the next day. General Manager said there was nothing they could do because didn't buy warranty. But I told them warranty wouldn't cover bent axles because they happens from an accident. Was very upset they did not try to help us at all or make some kind of deal to help fix. You go to a big "reputable" dealership so hopefully you don't get a clunker!!!
