The restaurant was laid out with tables to the right & left, a coffee/juice bar and a bakery section in the back. Since my Spanish is nil, I believe who was one of the owners helped us choose our meal. Peruvian Beef Stir fry with rice and fries & Pueblo Style fillet of fish (tilapia) I had plantains & black beans as sides. Both were portions for two people & absolutely delicious. I had a tamarind drink and my friend had a Batido Mango (made with milk) The staff were all sweet and helpful. We got to-go bags. The prices were very reasonable for what we got. After we paid the check we were given caramelo flan ~ we said we would never finish it - well we did! Pretty much licked the plate. Can't wait to go back! And since I watch Celtic, premier, euro soccer, have found a new place that opens early! Soccer was playing on the screens while there! Another plus. Definitely check this place out, they have traditional Costa Rican, Peruvian and Salvadoran dishes - just to name a few!!!

Not to mention it was all drenched in onion juice and hot sauce. I used to like the food here. Will not be buying anymore. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

I ordered the tacos de birria de res con queso along with a jamaica drink, and the total came out to $26.44, which felt reasonable for five tacos. I placed a pickup order and everything was packed really well. The tacos were full of flavor and the consommé was especially gooood. I would definitely order this again and I am looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu.

The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food in a very homey atmosphere. The servers are kind, attentive, and so helpful; from time to time, you might even be served by Pancho himself, who is an absolute gem! We started with the guacamole and chips, followed by the nachos, where you can customize them with your choice of meat. For our entrees, we ordered the Huaraches with steak, which is a large, handmade, slightly fried tortilla topped with beans, onions, lettuce, crema, and cheese. We also got the Tacos, which come five to an order. You can choose up to two meats, but we stuck with the classic Al Pastor. The meat was so tender and flavorful, served with the traditional onion, cilantro, and lime on the side. Finally, and my personal favorite, we had the Picaditas. Like the tacos, you can choose two meats, so we went with Al Pastor and steak. Similar to the Huaraches, these are four smaller, slightly fried homemade tortillas with green and red sauce on the bottom, topped with lettuce, onion, and cheese! To wash everything down, we had the homemade Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), though their Horchata is also delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots; it reminds me of my childhood, and the food is just as good as what you'd find in Mexico. If you're looking for an authentic experience, this is it!

The menu had mostly Hawaiian options to choose from. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I had the customizable poke bowl ($15.95). There was a number of different options to choose from with different proteins, toppings, sauces, etc. I had a base of brown rice with avocado, cucumber, sweet corn, edamame, mango, ahi tuna, spicy mayo, ginger, wasabi, jalapeno, green onion, and cilantro. This was nicely done. Everything appeared fresh and it was a good size portion. I would have just liked to seen a little more ahi tuna present, but besides that, very pleasant and filling. I also had the spam musubi ($2.95) and a side of macaroni salad ($3.95). The musubi was okay. It was a little dry. There needed to be more sauce present. The macaroni salad was a heaping portion, and it was tasty. There looked like a lot of mayonnaise present, but it was not too overpowerful as some type of sugar seemed to be incorporated to balance it out. Regardless of what it was, the salad was flavorful. Will I go back? I would.

We were craving some soul food and finally decided to try Amazing Taste. Had ordered over the phone…read moreand we used the menus that were posted online (google, yelp, etc) unfortunately, these menus were super outdated and their prices had changed... a lot. I had paid over $60 for a plate of oxtail over rice (no additional side includes), a plate of whiting fish with mac and cheese and collard greens, ordered a jerk chicken empanada and banana pudding. Not sure if it was just today that the food was overly salty. I couldn't finished the greens. The oxtail was okay. Yes, they were tender but I wasn't a big fan of the gravy as I've had better. The Mac and cheese was mediocre nothing that made me dream about it at night. The jerk chicken empanada was dry, salty and burnt. The only item I had enjoyed was the banana pudding - maybe it was because everything was so salty that made the banana pudding tasted delicious. Nevertheless, it was a lot of money for the food that I had received. I would feel a bit better if the food was better but sadly everything was just so salty. The service was good and the girl at the cash register was really nice. The restaurant itself is really clean and spacious. I'm not sure if I would come back, maybe in the future to give it another shot!

I'm not often in South Bound Brook, so I would never have just happened upon it. It's right on Main Street, has a few tables and a very big menu. The owner was in and gave me a few recommendations and customer favorites and let me know I could order through the kiosk. I got the baked chicken platter which comes with two sides. There were so many delicious looking dishes to choose from but I went with candied yams and collard greens. Both were so tasty but the star was the chicken 100%. When I say this meat fell off the bone, I am not kidding. i just lifted the leg and off fell the meat. Oof, it was incredible. I also got a side of rice, and I am kicking myself for not trying the cornbread or banana pudding, but there will be future trips for that. After taking a better look at the menu, I sent my mom back the very next day to pick up some oxtails for herself since I know they are her favorite. So happy to have discovered Amazing Taste! They have two other locations, but this is the closest to me. If you are looking for good, home cooked food, this is the spot.

We wanted to try out a different Italian restaurant close to home. My wife and I ordered chicken…read morefrancese and linguine witj white clams sauce.. it came with their house salad. They made their own salad dressing. It was missing more vinegar and olive oil. They added Parmesan cheese. I wasn't a big fan. For the main entrees, the sauce for the chicken Francese was so sour, that we had the server return it to the cook. I assume the cook watered down the lemon sauce, but it was still sour when the server brought it back. The cook should have added a little white wine with the sour sauce and let it reduce. We didn't want it to go back to the cook the 2nd time, so we just ate it. The best part was the two chicken breast cutlets were big and very tender. The linguine and white clams sauce was the better of the two. But by not much. The clam sauce needed more garlic. I don't know if the cook adds white wine to the sauce, but it badly needed it. It needed a little more fresh parsley as well. Overall our server was the best. He came back to our table so many times to check up on us.

We were quickly seated and ask our drink choices. I was pleasantly surprised at size and taste of my Malibu Bay breeze. I had been in this restaurant years ago and the serving cup was small. Then the waitress came for our order. I did not like the calamari. It looked too pale and didn't have much flavor. My Veal though was very tasty and a large portion. My husband said his Veal Franchise was just ok.
