Perfect late night spot in Perth Amboy especially if your just leaving the club. They make literally almost every Spanish dish you could want. The food comes out fast and the servers take good care of you. The ambiance is relaxed and you get to watch Spanish shows while you eat your free chips and salsa. I love this place . This is authentic Mexican cuisine. When you come to eat inside the restaurant, you are served with chips and a green sauce that is spicy but so addicting! They do not have delivery but you can call ahead and order out . The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that the service is pretty slow. The food was fresh the staff was really nice the area was clean and the menu was accommodating. I asked for some thing that was not on the menu and they were able to make it for me. Completely overpriced, the service is terrible, and the food isnt half as good as other Mexican spots. I tried to order from this place only because my other spots were closed. But for good food and great service that are only blocks away, I go to La Hacienda or Sabor a Mexico. Much better than this place. read more

I called for a deliver order and the waitresses told me it would take 20 mins. I get there in 30 minutes and they told me they did not have my order but would make it right away. I wanted another 20 mins and they still didn't have it ready. I talked to the waitresses and she was not apologetic because they lost my order. I spoke to the owner and he was so unapologetic. I just walked alway. The customer service is so bad. They should start teaching people how to be more professional. Disappointed how rude and careless they were when the mistake was made by them both times. After doing a lot of searching for decent Mexican food we finally found this place and were Pleasantly surprised. Probably the closest thing to California Mexican food in the New Jersey area. Great chips and hot sauce. I had chicken tacos with rice and beans and it was very good. The home made guacamole was excellent. For those of you that think the overrated Jose Tejas is Mexican food need to try this place out. We will definitely be back. read more

I love the flautas de pechuga de pollo from here, the service leaves much to be desired. The previous review about a waitress being very rude is on point. My husband does not speak spanish and he loves the flautas but you have to order them specifically as I said above-flautas de Pechuga de pollo otherwise they give you flautas made of chicken stew and they do not taste as good. My husband asked them to change them for the right ones and he was told he would have to pay for both. read more
