Ribeye. Medium rare. Absolutely amazing.
Beau A.

If I had a friend coming in from a far away place that had never had a ribeye, I'd love to bring them here to experience this culinary excellence. I had the ribeye tonight and it was absolutely stupendous. The weight staff was very attentive and the atmosphere is nice too. I'll be back.

All I can say is ..... WOW! From the time we set foot in this strip mall area (almost missed sign on building-) , to being seated promptly and greeted by several waiter/waitress. This was a great experience! Our waitress Ryleigh was very polite and knowledgeable about menu & specials as well as good recommendations. We both ordered Hickory smoked filets mignon, with delicious garlic smashed potatoes and broccolini. All was delicious, even baget with real butter! And the blueberry cheesecake... ahhh yeah! Funny thing is this restaurant was Highland recommended by the competition who was completely booked tonight! ... Lol I would call this wonderful restaurant a "Sleeper" as Don't judge an "outside" book by its cover! A Must if you are Anywhere in Alabama or western Georgia!

Best food of my whole trip. I would eat here any time I am town. Service, drinks, ambiance all top notch. I can't say enough about this place. Must experience for everyone. Yummmmmm

If it weren't for Yelp, we would've never found this place. The outside is neat and clean with string lights, but very unassuming. There is also no sign big enough to see from the parking lot. The inside is clean and airy. We sat at the bar so that we could watch the chefs prepare the food. Everybody was friendly, with multiple staff checking on us. We enjoyed the crabcake, beet salad, a pasta with shrimp dish, and a halibut special with risotto. For dessert, the crème brûlée and a coffee with Baileys. We had a lovely chat with Dave, the owner. If you're traveling to or through Oxford, don't miss this sweet gem!!

Scallops with creamed corn and veggies

Lovely spot for farm-to-table food tucked away in a small town. The food is fresh as advertised, and they have many seafood options. We started with some fantastic crafted cocktails and roasted garlic and Parmesan oysters. In between our appetizers and entree, our server gave us each a palette cleanser they make in-house, composed of celery, apple, and ginger. That was a very unique and excellent addition to our meal. We sat at the bar directly in front of the kitchen, where we could see the chefs and staff in action. We were more than satisfied with our meals. I got the scallops over creamed corn with roasted veggies, and my husband got the halibut. Our food wasn't over-sauced or too rich and was just incredibly fresh and filling. We were eyeing the bread pudding with white chocolate for dessert but had no room. This small town is where you most likely won't find this elevated dining environment, so it's a hidden gem.

Absolutely stunning restaurant and great food! I was impressed with their wine list as well. I got the chicken Marsala and loved it. The wine room looked really neat. I'd like to do a wine tasting next time I'm in town. Our waitress was wonderful! She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I forgot her name but she had Brunette hair and took care of us on 1/30/24 at 6pm in the Gallery room. I highly recommend eating in the Gallery room. It felt more private and quiet.

Best steak in Calhoun County. All round good fine dinning. Probably the over best for high end dinning in the Anniston area.

What is the Sunday buffet like?

I can't say for sure, but if the regular menu is any indication, I would expect it to be very high quality, delicious and creative. Hope that helps!

I love this coffee shop! The coffee is good, but lavender honey matcha latte (on the seasonal…read moreSpring menu) is absolutely delicious. I actually ordered it "half sweet," to cut down on the sugar, and thought it was perfect. Called Coffee has some interesting flavors and specialty drinks. Price: Decent - typical coffee shops prices. Atmosphere: It's airy with lots of natural light - a great place to work, study,or catch up with friends. There's a large table that could fit a small group. Service: Baristas were friendly. She actually brought my drink to my table on the last visit rather than just calling my name. I actually wasn't expecting that, but appreciated it. *Just a fun note: I've stumbled across a recently launched Called Coffee podcast and it's pretty good! Overall, check it out.

My first visit to Called Coffee and I was pleased! I was meeting someone here and even though I…read moredon't drink coffee, I felt confident they'd have something I liked. I was right! Employee was very helpful and pointed out the several teas on the menu, but then she said, "chocolate milk" and well, I just had to. You can't go wrong with chocolate milk. The only thing I didn't care for was the amount of ice cubes they put in it, but I understand why. Maybe next time I would ask for "easy on the ice". My friend ordered a pecan praline coffee and a pastry (forgot to ask what it was) and it looked fantastic. It was a happening place for a Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm - several customers coming and going and others staying to read, work, etc. Parking in the front was a little limited, but we both managed to find spaces. Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I would definitely come back! Plenty of options and good service.

We were driving around when we saw their food truck parked at the parking lot across from Quintard…read moreMall. Nice staff. Fun anime concepts. Cool logo design. No seating. You order and go. Unless you park or sit at the curb. The broth is good. We spoke with the staff, most of their ingredients are imported. To get this ramen in Anniston, AL... it is great. Especially, not expecting to get this in this area.

I didn't really have the highest expectations for this small town AL food truck. I've been all over…read morethe US and out of the country a time or two, and few places in AL rank in the "great food" category for me... however... I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a food truck parked in a cold and windy Martin's parking lot in Oxford, AL. Service was friendly and quick. My order - 4 bowls, 2 onigiri, a bag of chips, and two drinks - was all complete in about 5 minutes! My daughter got the Ponyo bowl (most of the menu is anime-themed bowls), and everyone else did a build your own 3 topping bowl. I was happy to see there was actually a vegan broth option, but pretty disappointed that there wasn't a plant-based protein option. (Disappointed by no protein, but also disappointed by the price.... I got my bowl w no meat, but the price was the same as the meat bowls.) Taste-wise, everything was pretty good. My 3 toppings were narutomaki , menma, and corn, and I added some crunchy garlic, black sesame seeds, and onion oil. The flavor from the crunchy garlic and onion oil was great! The biggest let down was I'm pretty sure it was just spaghetti noodles and not actual ramen. The right noodles make all the difference. The onigiri was pretty good. Would not order the kimchi chicken again, would definitely recommend the crunchy garlic pork, but I wish there was a vegetarian option for those too. It was pretty cold out when I stopped by (December), so I liked the hot tea/coffee options (all canned). The matcha latte was the perfect size for me and surprisingly not too sweet! So overall - was it the best ramen I've ever had? No. But also far from the worst. It exceeded my expectations for a small town AL ramen food truck. I'll definitely stop by again on one of my trips through.
