What is the best way to deal with a bad business? Read the negative reviews and screen them out…read morebefore you deal with them! Chris Anderson Parts Manager and parts staff. This individual does not care about the customer and ignores emails. Enough said. Also, I read the complaint by Kate H. regarding the engine light. I have had two dealerships sell me a used vehicle. Shortly afterwards an engine light came on. What these unscrupulous dealerships are doing is clearing the engine light (Code) instead of fixing the problem which costs money. Then the unsuspecting buyer drives the vehicle and after a very short time, the light comes back. You would think that these dealerships would back their vehicles, but all they care about is a sale! This is why car dealerships are at the bottom of the barrel for respect. Shane O'(Con)nor can afford to look after his customers, but he doesn't. They even got rid of the General Manager so that they didn't have an extra pay cheque to deal with. If "Lip Service" was service, Shane O'Connor would get 5 Stars! I should have listened to a co-worker years ago when he had paid a lot of money for a transmission rebuild. A day after the warranty ran out, the transmission went. If that was not bad enough, O'Connor would not honour the repair.

Larry, I was excited to come back to Valley Toyota after…read morespending a couple of weeks there installing the new Landscaping outside of the parking lot last year! Honestly, 10 minutes into my experience yesterday I was already thinking, wow the customer service here is exquisite! I was given a nice work space to set up my laptop while waiting for the inspection, and everyone I dealt with was great! Nonetheless, unfortunately when I drove away I was a little bit disappointed. The thing is, I brought my Rav 4 in for an inspection because I will be selling it soon and wanted to be able to provide mechanical info to the purchaser. When the inspection was done I was handed the paperwork with a brief description from the service rep showing that there was a minor leak in my tranny, and the ball joints were worn. Both issues were labeled as not serious and to be 'monitored'. I almost drove away but felt uncomfortable/unclear and wanted some more detailed information from a mechanic. I asked to speak to the technician who worked on my vehicle and what he told me was seemingly different than what was on the paper. He said the tranny leak was fairly serious and should be dealt with, and also the ball joint issue was quite serious as if they fail when I'm on the highway could cause an accident or more serious mechanical damage. I'm not writing this to try to get anything out of you guys, just to make a suggestion. With a routine mechanical inspection it would be really great if protocol included a two or three minute discussion with the technician rather than just check marks on a piece of paper. I will fully be recommending Valley Toyota none the less! You have a lot of great people working there :-) take care, Jonathan Van Egmond Timmermans Landscaping
