Sky's the Limit is a professional and trustworthy company that makes you feel completely at ease,…read moreeven when you're planning to jump out of a plane. The location is great, with rocking chairs and a great view while you wait for your plane. The only downfall, is that you have to check in and may have to wait for 2 to 4 hours before it is your turn to get suited up and get into the plane. While this is probably normal and it was reassuring to see that so many people were in line to do this at this location, it definitely gave you way too much time to get anxious and worry about what you were about to do! The tandem jumping instructors and the photographers were all very professional, kind, and entertaining to work with. I'm looking forward to going back for a second jump in the Spring!

The feeling is BLISSFUL. This is free fall and all you can do is appreciate this minute in a state of pure joy. It's awesome!!! If there's anything skydiving does, it opens up your world and makes you consider the possibilities. Skydiving is so much more than an adventure. For many, it's a life-changing experience! So above was my experience, now coming to this establishment (Sky is the limit) As it was COVID time, they check your temperature, make you sign 10 pages waivers ( including COVID one), you pay the amount at their counter (which has no shade). Then you wait for your instructor to call your name and then you wear the gears. On their website and also when I called they said, the jump would be from 13000 feet height. I was under the impression it would be 40-50 seconds of free fall following by 4-5 minutes of para-gliding. Lots of people mentioned the same in the review as well. But sadly, it was not the case with me. Was I disappointed after landing? Yes, feeling of free fall, rushing to earth 120 Miles/hr, all is okay but it was ended in 3 minutes. Freefall was hardly 20-25 seconds and 3 minutes of paragliding. The weather was good, it was not windy or cloudy. I don't care they took me to 2 seater plane which took 30+ minutes to reach an altitude of 10000 feet. All I wanted was, what they claim or promise, my 50 secs of free fall and 4-5 min of gliding. I Paid 225+95 (Video) for this and the whole experience was very short. I feel like cheated. When I further researched, got to know, people who are Groupon customers, they get a service like this (short height jump- short time duration). My 2 star is only for a short duration of the whole experience. The service was good, my instructor was good. No issues in that. Coming to photos and videos, they were not satisfactory. 5/10 on that.

It breaks my heart seeing some of these unhappy reviews. I can't speak on their experiences but I…read morecan certainly speak on mine. Years ago, I came to this drop zone because not only was it closer than the other one I went to, but it was also a lot more professional and focused on the sport rather than the frat house culture you can find at other DZs. The folks at skydive Philly helped me learn a lot and aided in me getting my A license. I ended up having a baby and could no longer afford to jump and was also having personal issues that were hindering me from pursuing my passions (not because of my child ;) he's a blessing). I just came back to this DZ to show my son the planes and show him where I used to go for fun. Aaron (the guy who runs the business) was there and he remembered me after 6 years!! He was SO sweet to my son and me and it meant the world. He welcomed me back and gave me all the information and support I needed to get back into the sport if I desired. He was so encouraging and understanding. The staff here, even after all this time, remember their students and care for them. It made my day and I'm so sorry for anyone that can't see how great these people are. Please understand skydiving can be SUPER frustrating because it's all dependent on the weather and sometimes plans have to get canceled time and time again. Try not to get mad at the staff for having to cancel a jump.

They accuse one person in our group of smelling like marijuana! (NOT TRUE) We literally showed up with our three small children and our elderly sick parent to do our bucket list! This place was very rude and inconsiderate, accused us of being on drugs! There Other employees said we look totally fine and smelled fine. They didn't understand where he was coming from. Dude literally kicked us out and said get out of here. Have a good day. So we decided to go to Garden State Sky Diving, right after! They opened us with hugs, drinks and positive vibes! It was way cheaper! They took you higher & let you jump farther and didn't charge you an extra like the Philadelphia skydiving place! Garden Sky made you feel like family and welcomed us with . We will be going back there weekly. Everybody run away from Philadelphia skydiving unless you like getting treated like a POS! Garden Sky went above for our elderly parents and for my 40th birthday party! Also, they were glad to entertain our children, and they also were dog friendly with their own dogs to greet you with love & joy! Totally different atmosphere night and day! We are actually debating whether to put a lawsuit on the Philly people for discrimination! The 1 person they accuse is the one person that didn't sign their $50,000 agreement if you sue them you will owe them $50,000 regardless I politely asked the Rude guy at the Philadelphia skydiving who he thought was under the influence or looked under the influence? Then he literally told me. I AM NOT A doctor. I can't tell you that! But I can tell you, I do smell marijuana even though there's 100 people sitting in the same room as us SMH! We knew exactly when we pulled into that place. The vibe wasn't right. You can tell with the reviews as well, all the other place are 5 not 4! This place had to pay for the 4 because it should be a 1

I had the…read moreutter privilege of jumping with none other than the legendary "Pancake", who very nonchalantly told me that he has made more than 20,000 such iconic falls! This was my first attempt and I think it was good for a height-phobic person like me to not have the option of standing on a separate ledge and deliberately jump. In the plane here, you kind of just tip over the edge, and that has to be initiated (thankfully) by your tandem instructor. Those 60 seconds of free falling were the longest of my life, I couldn't wait for the parachute to open. My heart was in my throat, I was wriggling like a cockroach, and I couldn't breathe because of the air pressure assaulting my face. CAUTION TO THOSE WITH PELVIC PAIN: as soon as the parachute opens, the pelvic harness tightens up considerably as you're basically vertical, being completely supported by the harness. You're "hanging by a thread (aka harness)". Think about how that would affect you during and after the activity, since I was in pain hanging vertically in the air. It made it tough to enjoy the slow gliding in such a beautiful weather. Pancake advised that I try and reposition myself so as to almost sit within the harness but I couldn't manage that. The staff is nothing but incredible, they ensure as much safety as possible, and the environment is so Hollywood-y with these sporty gals and guys preparing to jump one after the other from the plane. You can't help but feel the thrill of being surrounded by adventurers. I would like the option of a face shield and/or helmet for tandem jumpers like us so we can enjoy that free fall sensation without struggling to breathe. Also the videography package is worth it!
