We received quotes from other companies who proposed 15-20k over our budget for only 70% of the backyard and no extended driveway. We reached out to Bill and he came over personally to look at our backyard. He listened to our vision and gave us feedback based on his experience. Most companies will try and upsell you, but we felt Bill was looking out for us and making sure we didn't make choices that would impact us financially in the long run. Most importantly, he gave us ideas that would help us stay within our budget. Karyn, the director of maintenance operations was also wonderful as she was quick to respond with any questions we had regarding the proposal. We had to submit photos of material for our HOA application and she provided them within a few hours. Once we signed the contract, our main contact was Taylor and his foreman Miguel who were great and answered any and all questions we asked throughout the project. The entire team was on time, nice and got the job done. During the project, our concrete was poured and we noticed some small cracks on it as it dried. When we brought it up to Taylor he insisted on fixing it. He had his guys break up the concrete and pour new cement and it looked perfect. We share a front yard with our neighbors and when we put our driveway extension in, their plants and dirt were moved around. The team fixed up our neighbor's side yard to look as if it had never been disturbed. Once the job was complete, one of Miguel's team members cleaned up our yard nicely, made sure any dirt/cement was removed from the fence. We are in awe of how beautiful our backyard looks and we can't wait to spend time there. We had a great experience with Bill's landscaping from start to finish. We highly recommend their services.

THE BEST! WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!…read more If you're looking for a honest, quality landscaping company, we highly recommend Bill's Landscaping. Highly professional in every way. From their customer service to the friendliness of the work team, to the quality of work they do. I'd like to address a few things that stood out to us. First, they returned my initial call and made an appointment to come out to our house the same day I left a message! If you have ever looked for a contractor of any kind, you know how significant that is! A couple of days later we had a plan and a contract. Two weeks after that, we had a team here knocking it out! Second, when they say they are arriving at 7 o'clock, they are actually here! No delays, excuses or no-shows. We were so impressed with how much was done in that first day! Over the course of the project, we often had 4-5 guys here at a time! The job was complete (even with an unexpected change I requested. Thanks guys!) in just over a week. The team worked together so well and we enjoyed hearing them chat and laugh as they worked. They obviously enjoy what they do and doing it with coworkers they trust and like. It gave us confidence in the company. This, in addition to how long Bill's Landscaping has been in business in the valley. Over 40 years! We had our yard done 3 years ago by another company, but have had problems with drainage ever since. It was destroying the grass and left us frustrated. A lesson in, "you get what you pay for." I'm attaching pictures to show the beautiful transformation Bill's created. His prices are competitive and fair. Not the cheapest. But there again, you get what you pay for. We got the best! Thank you to everyone at Bill's Landscaping for making my little piece of earth, My Happy Place!

I want to clarify that I did not personally use this landscaping service; however, I observed their…read morework while they were servicing a friend's property. The individual mowing the lawn appeared to be working very quickly and without much attention to detail. After mowing, he used the blower to push leaves toward the neighbor's yard and into the street. I initially assumed he would clean the debris from those areas, but he did not. The leaves were left on the neighbor's lawn and on the sidewalk, while only the area directly in front of the client's home was cleaned. I strongly believe that quality work should be performed as if someone is always watching and with the same care you would give to a high-profile property. Unfortunately, this situation did not reflect that standard. The neighboring homeowner is now left to clean leaves they didn't create, despite not having a tree that sheds them. *** only giving one star to write the review*** After further reviewing the condition of the lawn, it appears that the wind had blown the leaves toward the street, which is why the yard itself was left mostly free of debris."

One morning, I bumped into one of the guys (his name is Diego) who was mowing the lawn of my next door neighbor and asked them if they do landscaping besides gardening and I was given a business card and contacted them and to my surprise, I got a quick response and I finally met up with Diego and his father Jose to discuss about the landscaping. And I got to tell you, they did a very excellent job with replacing the front lawn and cleaning up and leveling the backyard. They have a very excellent team. The pricing was reasonable and negotiable. Not only this, they also were very cooperative in communicating with me as a deaf customer by texting back and forth making sure we were on the same page and understood each other. I strongly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for landscaping and gardening!!!

There are plenty of reasons to AVOID this company, and I'll just cite a few…read more No integrity in their work: This company will cut corners, damage your property, and avoid replacing what they've broken. They say they will *fix* things but won't bother to show up. Low quality items: Not even a month after my aritificial turf was installed, portions of it started to dry out and lift up. I'll include a picture of their turf supplier so that anyone can see their suppliers' reviews as well. Sketchy business practices: There is no paper trail when giving payments. Thomas only wants cash or zelle and will not provide a schedule of payment dates. Instead, he'll text you the day before and say, "I need payment of $$$$ for supplies." The zelle linked to this company is neither of Thomas, his brother, or the company's. As stated before, there is no paper trail. Last one, after deciding halfway through the job that I wanted to go with an upgrade that we had previously discussed, I wanted to make sure we were on the same page on price. Thomas had quoted me with a balance that was $500 more than the original agreed amount. Fortunately for me, I caught the discrepancy in the quote, and I called it out. Beware of This Company - Dishonest and Unprofessional…read more I requested a quote from this company to trim 5 palm trees and a pine tree. Paul or Mark (they act like friendly country guys, but don't be fooled) quoted me $2,300--more than double another quote I received for $1,200. When I mentioned the lower bid, they immediately dropped their price to $1,200. That alone should've been a red flag. If they can slash their price by 50% in two minutes, imagine how much they're overcharging unsuspecting customers who don't get multiple quotes. Since I wasn't at the property, they sent me photos after the job. The palm trees looked fine, but the pine tree was barely touched. After asking for more trimming, I finally agreed it was acceptable. I gave them my credit card, and they charged $1,200. But right after charging me, they casually mentioned they broke the pipe connected to the water main. Funny how they waited until after payment to tell me that. I guided them over the phone to shut off the water, and they promised to fix it in the next day or two. On Monday, they claimed the leak was fixed and the system pressure-tested. I reminded them (again) to send me an invoice, but never received one. When I visited the property four days later, the hose bib was still leaking. No matter how tight I turned the handle, water kept dripping. I called them immediately, and instead of owning up to their poor repair, they blamed a mystery person for tampering with the faucet. Really? That's their excuse? They refused to come back to fix it. I ended up repairing it myself. When I disassembled the hose bib, I saw they had used way too much PVC glue, which hardened and prevented the washer from sealing properly. Total amateur work. Bottom line: Their customer service is terrible, their work is sloppy, and they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. Avoid this company unless you want to overpay for poor service and deal with headaches afterward. You've been warned.

As a bonus, his prices are very reasonable. Believe me, if he asked for more money for his services I would have paid it. We moved away from Lancaster a couple of years ago, but Frank has continued to be our landscape guy while we've been gone. When there was a problem he was the guy we could call and trust him to fix it. If you need a landscaper you should look him up. You'll be glad you did.

I asked for an estimate to create a walkway, concrete patio, irrigation, sod, and gravel. A week had passed after Renee came out to get measurements with no update on the quote so I reached out since other companies provided same day quotes. Renee responded to me so very unprofessionally via email stating "Geez! It's only been a week give me a break! We are busy I promise you haven't forgotten but this takes time." I was shocked because I don't think there was anything wrong with checking in after a week's time. Renee apologized by saying "I forget you don't know me" as if I should be able to discern her personality and tone through email. If I didn't like the workers I had met, I would never have hired them after this interaction. I shouldn't have to work more than they are for service, and definitely should not have been scolded for it. When I finally got a quote I felt that they were charging an astronomical amount for sod and gravel (we are talking 3x more per sq ft) and therefore only approved the walkway, patio, irrigation and sprinklers. I was told about their warranty and their experience in the field, and signed a contract. Upon completion of the work, I wanted to give the workers the business of completing what they started (by laying sod and gravel). However, I wanted to know if they would be willing to just do the labor and I would have the sod and gravel delivered directly from the source for 3x less. Renee declined. I asked for the sqft measurements for sod and gravel that they took for me so I could explore this on my own, and was denied this information. Then the owner got involved and told me he would void my warranty if I were to have the sod and gravel completed on my own which was never once expressed to me previously. Then he had the nerve to bring up my remaining balance that was emailed to me the day before, a holiday (July 4) as though I was some kind of delinquent customer. I'm sorry I didn't get to it when I was enjoying my holiday with family and friends! I was appalled yet again. I would consider their business ethics before going with them. However their workers were phenomenal and, quite honestly, should be in charge. They were more professional than the owner and manager were!
