This place is in a run down building, which looks a little sketch. Upon entry, it was a dark little shack like building, which was fine. I have eaten at plenty of dives. BUT, this one had flies and that kind of grossed me out. I ordered some carne asada tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. We moved to the outside eating area which was a nice little area, but I was constantly battling flies for my food, which was obnoxious. Prices were a bit on the high side for mexican food but the food was tasty. read more

Best Mexican food I've ever had! We ordered two cheese enchilada plates with chips and salsa. Best chips and salsa EVER! Enchiladas rice and beans were amazing. Service was friendly. Just a lousy place to get food. Girl at the window didn't know what Agua de arroz was. My husband was Hispanic and the food was too hot for him. Can you imagine how I felt. Too hot didn't even describe it. I can't eat Jalapeño but I can do Serrano and other hot chilis just fine. We tried many times to eat there and just gave up. read more

The burritos take two hands to eat... but it's so worth it. Full of beans, rice and meat, the burritos are stuffed full and are very tasty.

I wish they opened one up here in Western Washington because this is the real deal! We have way too many places here that fall short of what food from the valley tastes like! The last time I had this good food was down in Texas. read more

Not great, but not terrible! I came here one evening for dinner with some friends who recently moved to the Grandview area. Upon walking up to the restaurant, it was pretty random & just has a door to the kitchen with a walk-up window in the door to order. It's dimly lit inside, with a handful of tables and the prices are pretty reasonable. We ended up taking our food back home to chow down on - I got the Shredded Chicken enchiladas served with beans and rice and truly devoured them! Honestly, the enchiladas were a bit on the smaller side, but the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked so I was satisfied. The red sauce they give has a great kick to it and went great with the food. Overall, good Mexican food in relation to anything found in Seattle!! We have been eating at Garcia's for over a decade here in Grandview and had great tasting food. Today and the past few visits we have not been getting the same great tasting service. The food was not as fresh or as tasteful and building is looking even more run down than the previous years. Windows and doors look mucky and unsanitary. Prices outside on drive-thru are not updated. I bought a chicken salad and asked how much it was before I paid because it was not posted. They told me $11.75 but then when I looked at the receipt they added another $1. When I asked, what was the extra charge for? They told me it was for the chicken on the salad. What???? I didn't even get avocado with the salad, they gave me guacamole mixed with mayo as a substitute. Gross! Beware, not worth the high prices they charge anymore. Better off going to the local taco trucks. You have been warned. Ask for and check your receipt! read more

Grandview, WA, seems to be the nirvana of taco trucks and small restaurants. The Garcías' small restaurant is in a small house as you come into Grandview and it has a drive-through. Not like a McDonald's or DQ! No ordering until you get to the window and then you wait for your order to be ready--which is surprisingly fast. I went with the fajita taco for lunch and it was delicious. Home-made flour tortilla and a house sauce, the list of breakfast tacos (served until 10 am? or 10:30?) seemed even more appetizing than lunch and dinner-- and that's saying something. Yep, this place has it figured out! The words "Tex-mex" typically turn me off and make me think "TacoJons" but me and one of my colleges decided "What the heck, it's a new spot we'll give it a try" Wowie wowie! The food is awesome! it is sort of a fusion place takes all the best things about trad mexican food and then gives it just a little twist with the addition of just a few more ingredients. The tacos asada are huge, great, and have avocado on them, the Chicken and rice is also HUGE and awesome. Yep and you guessed it the sauces are killer. Searching for a place that has breakfast burritos I happen to go to Garcia's drive thru based on a friend's recommendation. I decided to go with a big breakfast burrito. The burrito was a good size for one person, fresh-made flour tortillas that were made in the morning I got this burrito at about 9 in the morning. The burrito was average, little on the salty side but was loaded. The tortilla was getting hard about halfway through. Always keep in mind that you cannot reheat homemade flour tortillas because they do get hard fairly fast. I would probably not go to this place again for breakfast but I might try out their lunch or dinner. read more

This is the only Mexican drive through in town. I've been here a few times and my experience has been unpleasant each time. I've had the enchiladas with rice and beans it's bland. Also if you order tacos do not order from drive through, I'd recommend the taco stand outside. I got sick from the ones cooked indoors. read more

Looks like good food but pretty much the worst service I've ever seen. First of all they won't answer their phone if you try to call ahead and you can't leave a voicemail either. I drove up to the drive-thru and asked for a chicken salad with avocado and they said they didn't make them. I tried asking just for a chicken salad and she said yes no problem when I asked if there was avocado on it she said yes.! What the heck? Great food! Lousy service. They lost my business when they forgot about me. I just moved to Grandview and went here per a friend's suggestion. I ordered on the inside, and I noticed the long line of cars dwindle down to empty. Then the lady asked for my order!? Uh...I've been waiting over 30 min for my order. This will be a repeat visit! Very pleased with the quality of the food. We stop by Grandview every couple months and have been sampling the Mexican food... this is by far the best. Garcia's has delicious food when they get the order right but they normally don't. I went today and ordered 4 bean and cheese tacos and they forgot the cheese... like how do they even do that. Then I went another time and they charged me wrong and said they didn't when I had the receipt and pictures of the food. Overall they keep messing up and never seem to get it right. Food was great but the service was poor. I was told a side of rice would be sufficient for three people(not even close). It was in a 6 ounce dish that was not even full. There is more rice in a burrito than in a side order of rice. When I received my order there was no hot sauce or salsa. When I asked for some I was told that would be extra. I went without. Our first time here after hearing rave reviews from friends and family and it did not disappoint. Hubby had the veggie burrito. The homemade flour tortilla was delicious. It was a standard burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato and queso. It was quite tasty. I had a chicken strip taco. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and there was a good proportion of meat to condiments (lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream). The salsa was very good. We will be back! read more

The food is five stars but the service is three. I've had the Gorditas which are awesome. The monster burrito is huge and pretty good. The quesadillas are pretty good too. Sometimes I'll try and call for up to 10 mindutes and the phone just stays busy. Also one time we ordered a couple sides of beans that were missing when we home.
