Hands-down Tacos El Pelon II has the best tacos I've had in the Yakima Valley. I went with the Adobada and Pollo. Both were phenomenal though the Adobada stood out as the Claire winner. What distinguishes these tacos from other places in town are the fresh tortillas, quantity of meat, and beans that are served on the tacos. They are truly phenomenal and served up beautifully. The taco truck is adjacent to O'reillys Auto Parts. They have a nice covered area to sit at so you can enjoy your tacos outside and often play really good classic Latin music on loudspeaker's. The workers are incredibly nice and answered all the questions we had. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. Whether you're passing through Sunnyside, or somewhere else in the valley, the taco truck is definitely worth the trip for their phenomenal food and service. read more

I travel across the state for work and am a big supporter of shopping local. I was looking forward to eating at this taco truck because it's in my hometown and a colleague highly recommended it. I stopped by at 6:15 pm last night and ordered a chicken burrito. The woman who took my order and ran my card was needlessly rude. Not only did she hold my order after many people came and went, (I was only one left standing before another asked my order number), she charged me double what she quoted the cost of the burrito at $10. When I was finally given my order it was almost cold, tasted less than desirable, and was overpriced. I've never given a food business a 1-star review before but I don't recommend ordering from this local business. read more

In Sunnyside, Washington there is a lot of taco trucks, at least 18. I, as well as my family believe Tacos El Pelon II (or Pelon's) is one of the best ones in town. The menu is limited but is cooked and prepared perfectly, choosing quality over quantity. The tacos are loaded with the carne of your choice, beans, onions, and cilantro, the tortas are fat and packed with ingredients, and the burritos are big enough for two people, and each peals comes with a side of pickled carrots and cucumbers to clear your palate. Since my family are all workers, we don't have anyone home with the time to cook Mexican meals, so this is our go to place to eat some good food. read more

Great taco truck. They pickle their own jalapeños and carrots. The tacos are great but need a little bit of salt! Comes with a slice of Mexican fresco cheese, cucumbers, pickled jalapeños, grilled onion and pickled carrots with your taco order.
