NO STARS The service technician was rude and could not speak clear English. Basically he was trying to sell me a part that I may or may not need. I would not recommend them to anybody. Horrible experience! read more

I bought a refrigerator in May of 2023 for $350. That refrigerator stopped working around 40 days later. They replaced it with another refrigerator and that one stopped working (not getting cold frig/freezer) on 10/8/2023. So in 5 months I've been thru 2 refrigerators from Garcia's and neither one lasted. Save your money and buy new they are selling subpar appliances. I should of seen the warning signs when I could not locate a phone number or website besides yelp. read more

NO STARS. My uncle went to buy a gas valve connector to connect a new dryer. He was sold parts unneccessary for the job. When he went to return the unused parts within 1 hour of purchase, he was denied a return. I would NOT recommend this business. read more

I bought a dryer here and have had them out to fix it 3 times for the same issue and they keep charging me everytime they come out, more and more money each time. I called again for the same issue and waited an hour after they said they were coming, called they said 30 minutes and 4 hours later I call and they said they came and no one was home. I waited all day for them to not come and lie about it for a dryer that has had nothing but issues. read more

Very unreliable. We called them and they came out the same day to look at the refrigerator. They took a deposit and promised to be back the next day at 10 AM with parts And to perform the repair needed. The next day they did not show up at 10 AM and I called them out around 11:30 And the lady that answered the phone said she would leave the technician a message. The technician called at around 1:15 PM and said he was having car problems and would be on his way. The technician did not show up or call again that day or the next morning. He did not answer his phone either. I ended up Having to go into the shop and get my deposit refunded. Save yourself some trouble and headache and do not do business with them. read more

This business doesn't even deserve 1 star! I purchased a used refrigerator here and after two weeks it stopped working. I called them non-stop for a week to let them know and no action was taken. I had to waste my time by making my presence known at their business. Finally, they replaced my refrigerator and again, one week later it stopped working! Now, I have to wait until tomorrow morning and go up to the business, again! read more

Bunch of scum bags! Stay away from this money hungry business! Ripped my mom off for a repair & they didn't even change all the parts! When leaving I found a screw on the floor then told the "handyman" then he said oh I replaced it already that's just and extra! 1 week goes by & now my dryer has another problem! What a Coincidence! They said they'll come look at it for no charge & never came! I got my friend to come look at it & the guy never replaced the screw he forgot to put it back on!! Not just that they tampered with my dryer so I can call them to repair it again!!! DONT EVER COME HERE BUNCH OF SCUMS!! read more

The refrigerator in my apartment stopped cooling properly since last week. My landlord insists on paying for repair services only if we use his vendor, Garcia's Appliances. So here begins my upsetting experience with this service. I scheduled an appointment service call for today at 3:30 pm. I gave them a generous half an hour before I decided to call and make sure that our appointment was still on. The guy guaranteed that someone will be on their way and was probably just taking a bit longer with another client. Now it's 5:30. No one has arrived. So I call again. Not only did the guy, who never gave me his name, tell me that their repairman didn't show up to work today because he had taken a sick day, but he had the fucking audacity to hang up on me when I asked him to send another repairman today. The last thing I wanted was to go another day without a working refrigerator. Clearly, Garcia's is an unprofessional and unreliable service. Trust me, I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I hope this review saves another fellow from the same pain, frustration, and stress that Garcia's Appliance had caused me. read more

Found Garicas appliance via Craigslist and man do they have great deals. I bought kenmore used washer and dryer and a brand new stainless steel fridge for under $1100 including delivery. Found this place while looking for a replacement stove because our old stove was sparking, which is absolutely frightening considering it's not electric. Had a last minute budget of $200 total to spend, and here at Garcia's Appliance, we found a clean stove with a self cleaning oven, and negotiated the price to $200 total (delivery included). We paid on a Thursday and he delivered on Saturday because Friday was 4th of July. Installed, and worked. But then, the oven wouldn't turn on! We called on Monday and he came within an hour. Turns out we just weren't turning it on correctly! No charge for him coming over to help with the oven dilemma. Great prices, don't be afraid to haggle, but don't be too cheap with the haggling. read more

Garcia's Appliance - Our new-used stove! - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Long Beach, California

1 star rating is too much for this place. I needed a simple replacement of a Maytag "boot" seal and this business decided to replace with a USED part. If I wanted a used part, I would've keep my own used part. They were not honest about it, delivered my machine and took my $240. Stay away from this place at all costs. Not professional and most importantly: DISHONEST. read more

I was a customer of Garcia's for 10 years, and I had given them many referrals, but now they have lost my business for good. A week ago the coupling on a washing machine that I bought from them 6 years ago went out. The owner came and replaced it. The next time I used the machine, it made a high pitched whining noise. I thought, "Well, as long as it's washing, I'm cool. I'll just have him come when he can." When I knew the machine would be near its 2nd spin I went to check on it. I didn't hear anything as I approached the machine's location, and this was noteworthy to me because I thought it was too soon for the machine to be finished. I opened the door and there was SMOKE coming from the machine! The motor was burning up. Had the machine not failed itself my home would have caught fire! This same day, I asked Cesar to deliver a different machine. I was not happy with the replacement at all. I told them over the phone that I wanted a hand wash cycle. They assured me this one had it, yet it didn't. When on the spin cycle, the machine bounced all over the place. Cesar had to send workers to my home AGAIN. By now, I told them to take the machine and to give me my money back. When I said this, all of a sudden all sorts of alleged promises and deals were being thrown my way, but I was done. (There are just too many other appliance places around here to put up with the back and forth, and crappy product.) They took the machine, and I had to go to Cesar's shop to retrieve my refund (of course. Tacky.). Years past I always dealt with the owner's son. It's obvious now that the son was the key contributor to this business' success. I'm bummed this isn't the reliable gem I thought it was. read more

Sold me defective merchandise. Stood me up when he said he would come to see it. then would not take my calls for3 weeks then finally came to see the defect - 30 minutes late - then declared it doesn't exist and stormed off. This is not a company you want to do business with. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone needing repairs or machines . I did stop at a place near work and when I opened the only washer they had the smell was bad glad I went to Garcias. Stay away from this place! I purchased a stackable washer and dryer frim this place. Since the first day when my washer was supposed to be delivered they where so unprofesional. The owner Garcia told me would he there at 1000 am and never showed up. I called his cell phone with no answer. I called his business and it was busy. U thought how strange. I went to his shop to find my washer and dryer on hus truck ready to be delivered and I found Garcia the owner drunk like a skunk with the phone in his hand. After waking him up and speaking to him, he did arrive around 3pm. Smelling like booze and all he installed my landry center but did not bring the right length dryer hose. He said he needs a longer one and will get it Monday. Well monday came and no hose. Laundry was piling up so i bought one myself and installed it. So im ready to wash right?! No!!!! Tried to wash one load and it smelled like burnt rubber and water did not drain! Save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else with more reviews or just buy new. read more

Yes the tech (the owner) came on time to our home. But that is about the only good thing. Our refrigerator was checked and needed a door. They asked for a deposit ($100.00) to order the door. "That was the last time they were seen, other than going to shop looking for him. Chased him around for a year, should have called US Marshalls to find him. Wouldn't recommend them to pick up a no good machine. read more

If you are repairing an appliance or purchasing a new appliance, please go somewhere else. This business does not honor their workmanship or abide by any rules of customer service. I paid them $175.00 to repair my wall oven. Led codes were displaying on the led showing my oven was on the blink. I was informed they would come out take it to their shop fix and return it. They came removed it and brought it back and installed. They were hammer mechanics as the bottom of the oven was damaged and not installed correctly. When I asked them to adjust the installation he told me to cut away the kitchen moulding it was rubbing against. The next day the handle he replaced was so weak it snapped and the oven was showing codes. This is not what I paid for. I attempted to get them to come back to no avail, even going down to the shop. It is aggravating in getting them to honor their work, I would call they would schedule, and never show up. I won't be doing any business with them again. read more
