I received a text message shortly after to provide my insurance card and date of birth. Once I provided the requested information, I was told immediately that the doctor is not in my network. I had searched for a doctor in my area and that is also in my network with my employer, Dr. Von Was one of the first physicians to appear and had some of the best reviews. Even after double checking my search and providing proof that the doctor is in my network, I was still denied and advised that they aren't in my network. If you have Blue Shield California - Local Access+ HMO, good luck. This physician is apparently not in network. Seems like this facility needs to update their network list!
