The difference between seeing Dr. Nassos and the other doctors is that you can tell he still cares about his patients! He asked me some questions and gave me his medical opinion of the status of my knee. He also answered questions I had on next steps, as I am still in constant pain. As a first-time patient and a nurse, I found Dr. Nassos to be professional, knowledgeable, and caring. He is easy to speak to, and I only wish that I had met him before my surgery. I would definitely refer other friends/family members to him for their ortho needs.

I wasted 3 months with one Dr. who ended up closing shop (due to some legal issues, escaped that one narrowly!) and another month looking frantically for a new doctor and coming across one who was so old school, he yelled at me for daring to speak and ask him questions... no names shall be named (but PM me if you want to know). What a relief to have found Dr. Nassos! Not only does he take more than 5mins to sit, examine and answer all your questions, he always has a comforting smile that puts you at ease. I needed that especially since it was my very first surgery, and was a total nervous wreck. The night after surgery, I had to reach him and totally appreciated getting a call back within the hour late at night. And he even took the time to call in a prescription at the nearest 24-hr pharmacy. Post-op appt. went well, he removed sutures, went over some deets and off I go to focus on recovery, physical therapy and physiotherapy for the next 6 weeks until the next follow up appt. I have always been super athletic and the neck pain has prevented me from doing many of the things I loved to do in my 30's. After years of false promises and being horribly mis-diagnosed by dozens of PhD's, I found myself in Dr. Littlefield's office. After his initial eval and x-ray, he told me exactly what was wrong with my neck -and - what was most likely causing my constant pain. I found out my cervical spine was more crooked than Pasadena Parking Enforcement. Not only was my spine crooked it was actually curved the wrong way. He told me that he would get me out of pain in about two weeks but that it would take a several months to put the spine back into proper alignment. His simple diagnosis and rehabilitation plan made perfect, complete sense to me. After 2 weeks, the neck pain was barely noticeable, just as he informed me it would be. The tools, techniques and traction devices he utilizes are unlike anything I have been exposed to in chiropractic care. I have been going to him for 2 months now...and I am pain free -and- sleeping much better. Dr Littlefield is the real deal. I had been suffering from mild sciatic nerve pain and piriformis syndrome on and off since Spring 2023. The pain grew more intense over Christmas and by February 2024, I was incapacitated. My GP prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxants, and PT and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. While laid up at home, I did some research and discovered that my pain might be coming from adhesions (scar tissue) that have attached themselves to the sciatic nerve. I learned that Active Release Technique (ART) could free nerves without surgery. I scheduled a session with Dr. Mike, an ART specialist. Miraculously, I felt immediate relief after that first session and was able to attend an event in DTLA that night! I continue to see improvement after each visit. Today was my 5th session and I am thrilled to report that I am almost fully healed. I am forever grateful to Dr. Mike for saving me from surgery. After trying acupuncture and even strong medications, I still did not experience the relief I desperately needed. I was especially hesitant to move forward with an epidural due to a traumatic experience I had in the past while I was pregnant and in labor at a different facility with another physician. At that time, epidurals are typically performed without imaging, especially in an urgent labor setting, which contributed to my distress. An x-ray determined that I was suffering from a pinched nerve. Now a little over a month into my therapy, the pain and muscle spasms are gone. We're not working on a plan for better ergonomic habits, and lifestyle changes to prevent the pain from coming back. Highly recommend! I've added images to illustrate my progress... Before treatment my range of motion and curvature of my neck was deteriorating and causing nerve impingement/muscle spasms. It's amazing to see progress this quickly.
