He even took the time to greet my children and was very warm and friendly with them. Daniel was able to determine that a faulty line/wire was causing the power issues in the bedrooms. After checking the attic, he also discovered some problematic wiring and conditions involving the subpanel. He recommended running new wiring and replacing a damaged breaker in the attic panel, which would not only fix the problem but provide a much safer setup and help prevent potential hazards like an electrical fire. The price was fair, and the work took about two hours, just as he estimated. He worked diligently the entire time without taking a break. I honestly felt bad for him being up in our attic because it had to be easily 120° up there! I offered him water throughout the job, which he graciously accepted. Before leaving, Daniel also gave me an estimate to upgrade our existing breaker box. That price seemed very reasonable as well, especially compared to estimates I've received from other companies in the past. Overall, great experience. I started a project on Yelp looking for someone to help with a shower upgrade. Those of us in…read moreRancho Cucamonga know how hard the water is, and I'd recently purchased several removable shower filters to help combat the issue. I was able to uninstall the shower head, install the filter and reinstall the shower head in one bathroom, but I didn't have the tools or elbow grease to do the same in the second bathroom. Within minutes of submitting the request, I received a message from Nick with his cell phone number, asking me to send him photos of the work. I texted him and he responded quickly confirming he could do the work with an estimate and potential time to schedule the job. He required a small deposit via Zelle. I was a little skeptical about the deposit, but he affirmed his business means more to him than the deposit and his word is worth more as well. He was able to get me on the schedule the following day and confirmed a time later that evening. That day, he texted me telling me when he was on his way and with an estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he got straight to work. He confirmed the shower head was REALLY on there! He was able to remove it, as well as the stupid flow restrictor I'd asked the previous plumber to not install--but he did anyway--threaded the connections, and installed the shower filter and shower head quickly. He also gave me an opportunity to douse the shower head in Lime Away before reinstalling! We tested the connection and he made one minor adjustment and then was done! He charged me his minimum rate and it was worth it. Very nice gentleman, very professional and honest! I appreciate he takes Zelle and Venmo. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. A reason why i went with this company is that they are licensed .... which i did double check and they do have a C10 which is for electrical. Also, they did answer with regard to how much a particular job would be. Originally, we had an after lunch timeslot... I requested if there was a possibility of a morning one the day prior... Thankfully, they were able to come on over and accommodate. So that's a plus. When they arrived, Nick was respectful and straight to the point. He pointed out some items that were needed to be addressed... and upgraded... Felt like an upsell but i do understand that when it comes to keeping a house safe, you gotta do what you gotta do and hopefully you get what you paid for. They offered to 1. do grounding.... 2. and also to install a surge protector.... 3. to change parts of the breaker that were damaged or cooked and not rated properly 4. Patch up the dry wall. 5. In addition to installing the tesla wall connector. Now originally, i just wanted to have just my tesla wall connector installed. The price for such is pretty affordable and comparable to other electricians. Unfortunately, with all the other things that needed to be done... the price exponentially increased. Good thing, they offered different modes of payment,.... like credit, debit, check, and even zelle. Since the bill was a pretty penny, he did mention doing a 60amp rather than a 50amp for the tesla wall connecter and making sure that all connections are up to code. I assumed from the beginning that it's supposed to be a 60amp since that is what the wall connector is rated for... In any case..... They got here at 8:43 am and were done by 10:07.... pretty quick and fast. I did like that Nick showed me the issues and also showed what they did and he assure me that everything is up to code. They sent an invoice via email and i paid them via check . Edit 2 weeks after: I have messaged them to cash the check i gave. They replied and promised that they will the following day but still hasn't ... i told them that I would be changing accounts .... Looking back, i think i should have asked for a breakdown of the services with the prices for each. They gave me an initial proposal of installation for a charge of : 300 usd. (50amp then 60amp) Then offered a surge protector for 350usd... Then said.... said let's make it up to code and charged me a total of 2,500.... for changing of fuses and putting a ground .... they didn't give a price but total was 2,500 USD. So i'm assuming that 2,500-650 =1,850 was for all that. Tbh, looking back... i felt that i overpaid...and upon asking around, apparently I did. I should just paid them for installation and that's it. And yes, they did ask for this review to be put out... hence, i'm editing it so that i'm writing it truthfully.
