How ever these guys here first of all they are very kind and welcoming super honest they will tell you right away how it is. Your car will be there in and out, they even fished my car earlier then they said it would take. I can only advise any one to go there. So I went there couple months asking for a quote regarding a key scratch on my hood. Literally took 10 mn before someone came to talk to me not to mention the manager who didn't even replied to me when I said hi. Finally after a long wait I asked for a rough estimate about the job , the manager who now finally spoke English told me he couldn't give me one but it was gonna be very expensive and it would be better to just repaint everything. He told me this without EVEN LOOKING AT THE CAR. So when I asked him again to come look at the car and he told me he didn't have time for that and that was all he had to say. For the record I left a review couple weeks ago and the owner or whoever managed to get it removed by yelp. When the OWNER of a business lies, and goes on vacation, leaving NO INSTRUCTIONS for his employees and, when he returns, avoids calling you back after you leave many messages, I would say this is a business to DEFINITELY AVOID! Whenever I need some body work on my cars, I take it to Garbis. I recommend Garbis based on the following reasons; a) they do a perfect job of repairing the damages; and b) Joe does an excellent job of dealing with the insurance companies. In fact, I got rear-ended earlier this week so I will be taking the car to Garbis tomorrow. A friend recommended me to Garbis after both he and the guy he was in an accident with took their cars here to be fixed. I was sideswiped and needed body work done on the driver's side and front of my car. I called Garbis one evening, they told me to bring my car in anytime the next day. I dropped it off, my insurance inspector met me there, and the people at Garbis said it would take about a week. A week later, I called and they told me my car would be ready that afternoon, just like they said. The work was fantastic. They replaced my front bumper, side turn indicator, and the side panel over my front wheel. They painted both driver's side doors. It looked incredible. Plus, when I dropped it off my car was FILTHY , but when I picked it up it was spotless. My insurance paid for it so I have no idea how much it cost, but the quality of work was great. I hope I never have the need for body work on my car, but if I do I am definitely going to Garbis. read more

Garbis is fantastic! This idiot backed into my driverside door. Luckily he had insurance, and was able to get an estimate quickly and got a check from them in just 5 days. Incredible! The damage wasn't too too bad, but my car is my baby so anything damage hurts me too. So I researched everywhere in the area for a better estimate. In fact it took me a couple months of looking. One day, I stopped by Legit Automotive, neighbors to Garbis, to get my AC recharged. I saw Garbis next door and thought I'd see if they could do an estimate even though they were about to close. I was greeted by Joe. He took a quick look at my damage and we went right into his office and he offered an estimate that was a lot better than anywhere I've heard. So I brought my car back 2 days later and they got started. Joe even found me a killer deal on a rental just down the street at Enterprise. I come back In just 3 days and my baby is looking sparkly new. Very professional job! Super impressed! Apparently they've been around about 40 years so that also says a lot. I have never written a review before but I felt compelled after having, yet another, great experience at Garbis, I have been taking my damaged, dented, crushed cars to them for several years. No, I'm not a demolition derby driver just an LA driver with some bad luck. In all, I've had the misfortune to need to bring my cars to them 4 times. Each time (3 out of 4 were extensive damage) they were friendly, the cars were ready on time and the work was immaculate! Couldn't tell where it had been done at all. I sent my Mother and a couple of friends over and they have all been happy as well. Aside from just having an easy transaction each time. When I took my Mom in, the tow driver tried to double bill the insurance co and Garbis caught it and wouldn't let him.
