When the company I work for relocated me from California to Michigan I had no idea how fast my life would change! A year later I met the man I would marry, have a child and buy a house; we quickly realized that the Nissan Frontier I drove would not suffice for a growing family so we discussed our options. Coming from California everyone drives foreign so it was important for me not to purchase anything than what I am already accustomed to; my husband talked to me about GMC, Chevrolet, and Ford yet still I stood firm on foreign. Then one night we were driving by Garber and sitting perched up on a platform on it's own little corner was this monster of a Jeep with angry tires, lifted with a beefed up suspension, light guards and railings; it had an attitude- like glaring at my husband's Silverado as if to say, "I can go places you can't". I fell in love, I had to drive one. Though no one in my family owns a domestic vehicle I thought I would break the cycle. My husband worked relentlessly with Janelle Wegener over a 3 week span and through her dedication and commitment to excellence she made the impossible a reality. My son no longer sits in the front seat anymore, I feel safe, and oh we are expecting baby #2! The whole Garber team was amazing but Janelle and her sales manager made a memory for life; I teared up handing over the keys to my Frontier, it symbolized a chapter of my life changing-a good vehicle will do that to you. Looking at my silver Jeep and peeking at my son through the mirror makes me smile as I see how much my life has evolved. I taped the picture of me Janelle, my husband and our son next to our calendar on the wall so that everyday I can be reminded of what a wonderful experience we had and how patient everyone was with us. Now days I get stopped by a lot of women asking me where I got my Jeep, how do I like it, and how does it drive; the women asking usually wear business suits and high heels, I can tell they are working moms, I think I'm setting a trend! The men stare too but I thinks it's cause they're jealous! I always share my testimony and refer everyone to Janelle at Garber because she deserves the referrals! i just read that a couple thought that a. j. simon was the best sales person at garber i totally disagree i know that ***** dave ramos ***** is by far the very best sales person !!!!! i'm a disabled old man and dave ran around me, made sure i was ok, had a place for me to sit etc, ran inside and out with keys and made me feel i was his number one interest on making me happy and totally satisfied. because of how he treated me i bought the nissan altima s. i had company papers from ford which was a very little cheaper but because of dave ramos and the way he dealt with me i bought the nissan, by the way i am much much happier with the altima it has a much better resale and has no repairs at all compared to ford. thank you garber and dave ramos for everything, and this is my families 6th nissan, most family members have gotten over 250,000 miles without any major at all on their nissan's !!! my son sold a xterra to friend and he was still driving it with 372,000 miles on it when he just sold it and it still had the original battery in it, has never had one repair that we know of. he just sold it because he just wanted a newer car. i recommend garber to everyone and if you do not make a deal with dave ramos it is truly truly your loss and your pocket books loss. thank you dave ramos and garber nissan. sincerely d. taylor oh and by the way this is not a government auto company if they can't run the post office which is a monopoly they sure as heck could never run a auto company if you buy a government car i will wave to you on the side of the road, but i will make a call for help for you !!! read more

When I decided to purchase a new Wrangler Unlimited, I was very set in what features/colors/etc. that I wanted. As luck would have it, there were none available anywhere locally that fit my wants and needs. Janelle and the crew at Garber Bay Road bent over backwards to find the Jeep that I wanted. I had an excellent experience working with Ed Heinz at Garber Hyundai/Nissan on Bay Road in Saginaw. He showed a lot of patience with me as I visited the store 5 times in 3 weeks until I finally made my decision. This is the first non GM car I have every purchased, but I was sold on the comfort of the Elantra compared to the other cars I tested out in the same price range and MPG. The entire sales office was very professional, and I even with my excellent credit, I was surprised at the low interest rate they worked out for my purchase. It was a very hard decision to eventually switch away from GM, but I my doubts are slowly wearing away after my first week driving the Elantra. Had a great experience at Garber Bay Road purchasing a Hyundai Accent. Was able to set up a test drive and was met at the door by salesman, Jim Lewis. Jim answered all of my questions. I had done a review of the Accent and other similar cars from other dealers and was encouraged by what I read about the Accent. The 100,000 miles, 10 year warranty was a huge plus. The Hyundai was recommended by our mechanic as a good affordable new car with a great warranty. The financial end was handled by Raj who also answered my questions. I would recommend this team to everyone. Additionally, I live 125 miles away and Jim sent a driver to pick me up to seal the deal a couple of days later. I give Garber Bay Road five stars! read more

I just wanted to write a review of Garber on Bay Road. I bought a 2013 Charger (first Dodge I've ever owned) after shopping for a new car extensively. I test drove a Malibu, a Taurus, and a Charger. By far the nicest people were at Garber. Our representative, Tessa, even watched our 2 year old and 6 year old while we test drove the car. When we got back we were still wanting to look at a Taurus and told her that. There was absolutely no pressure at all. When we decided on the Charger we called Tessa back and most everything was handled right over the phone. The car was ready when they promised, full of gas, and the entire experience was great. I was surprised to see the bad reviews from a couple of years ago. There must be new people lately. I have taken my last two Jeep Wranglers to the Jeep dealership on Bay Rd. for service and oil changes. I was impressed from start to finish with wait time and service. ALSO - - may I mention that we have been looking for a replacement and found Stephanie Maike to be very helpful when we were inquiring about other SUV's besides the Wrangler Unlimited. We had an awesome experience at Garber Bay Road! Andrew Peck was a great person to work with; very professional, but did not put the pressure on us in any way. He helped move car seats and was patient with my young boys as we talked numbers! Between him and Gary Anderson, we were able to get an amazing deal on our new car! They were patient with us, as we have two young kids, and have to work around nap and work schedules, and offered to bring the car to us so we wouldn't have to keep bringing the kids back in. Lou Garza was my salesman at Garber and he did an excellent job. The entire shopping experience was very pleasant and professional. I was able to use their online site to browse the vehicles that were available on their lot. Even if you're a little unsure about what direction you want to go in, say for instance, Hyundai vs Nissan my salesman was very helpful in assisting me come to a decision that was within my budget and most importantly a vehicle I really like. He was honest with me when I asked questions instead of giving me a line of bull. Which meant the most during my buying my Dodge Charger.
