I needed a right front fender in order to fix my Corvette which was involved in a minor fender bender. I contacted the local dealer who services the car. My dealer did not have the part. They told me Garber Buick showed the fender in stock and they were the only GM dealer in the country showing the fender in stock. I called the parts department and the person I spoke to confirmed that they had just one in stock. I asked the price, which was just a formality as I was going to pay pretty much whatever the cost was. Then I asked them if they could ship it to me since I was not local to them and they refused. They said it would get damaged. Got in an accident while visiting family during the holiday. Car was towed here and the service/body shop team were fast with an estimate and also were so kind. In particular, Spencer went out of his way to talk me thru everything on the estimate; was honest about what actually needed fixing vs unnecessary/cosmetic damage; explained what he thought my best options would be in terms of insurance vs paying out-of-pocket, etc. I then had to leave town in the middle of all this and they were extremely patient while I figured out the logistics/handled this from out-of-state. Anthony Stricker and the loan officer Cynthia were great and worked very hard to get me this vehicle. When I picked after securing financing that process went smoothly. Anthony was with other clients so he handed me the keys, took my picture with the 2016 SUV and said I was all set. I stood there a bit dumbfounded. I had traded in my 2005 Buick LaCrosse, which didn't have all the technology that the 2016 has, and also the move from a car to an SUV. I wish someone offered to go over the basics of all the buttons, like how to turn on the heat, windshield wipers, etc. On the way home the tire pressure warning light came on saying the rear passenger tire was low. The next morning I took it to a Service Center where they filled the low tire and checked all tires, only to discover that it was missing a chrome lug nut on the front passenger tire; I was quite upset that either the vehicle wasn't inspected at all or whomever did it, didn't catch this. I purchased a replacement and it was installed. I wasn't informed that I had a free 3-month trial of SiriusXM Platinum. I discovered this by an email from Sirius. So my experienced is mixed, up to the point of purchase it was great, but the after sale experience was a total fail by my standards. read more

the collision shop did a terrible job replacing car components back on my car. they forgot to properly install the drain holes in my car after taking headliner out. so when I took my car through the car wash, water came through smh. i try to take it back to them to fix it they wanted to charge me. Terrible experience. Lied to us to get us to travel over 100 miles to their dealership only to find out that what they told us was not true because their finance totally screwed up our applications totally contrary to our application. Gave us a gas card that didn't work as "compensation for our trip". Had us insure a car that we hadn't even signed on and caused us to have premium/cancellation fees, raising our current insurance premium. They were verbally abusive and extremely derogatory in conversations about the of member their sales staff who processed the paperwork. We feel baited to get us to the dealership then jacked us around while we were there l. This fiasco has/will cost us over $400 because of the dealership's fiasco. I was in search of a fairly specific vehicle with a certain option package. Garber Buick had a vehicle that fit my requirements. Garber, being in Michigan and myself being in NY required the majority of the negotiations and purchase to be done remotely. I have purchased vehicles sight unseen and out of state in the past but only from well reviewed dealers. The reviews and testimonials I saw on Garber made me feel comfortable completing the transaction remotely. The prompt response and availability of the staff I worked with (Andrea and Julio), made the transaction a very painless experience. I had scheduled to fly in from NY to pick up the vehicle myself. Even though payment for the vehicle was sent weeks ago, they still offered to pick up me up from the airport upon my arrival. It really showed me that they care about their customers and gave me even more confidence in quality of the vehicle I was about to pick up. Upon arrival, even after a snow storm, the vehicle was clean and ready for the drive home. This collision repair was done 2 months ago so I'm a little behind in my review. The entire passenger side of my car was keyed and my insurance company said this was the only collision shop in my area that serviced them. The body shop manager was very friendly and looked at the car. When I asked for an estimate he said he couldn't give me one as it was Progressive's policy for them to get the estimate. (Blame Progressive not Garber). I talked with Progressive 2 days later and got all the info from them and had the repair started. When I went to pick the car up a 10 days later I noticed very light sanding scratches at the end of the repaired area and they painted over them with the clearcoat. I pointed it out to the manager and he said he didn't think they would do that. After a few minutes of going back and forth he said they would take care of it. 2 days later I got my car back and it looks great. As a car painter myself I know how hard it is to blend paint, especially silver and they did a great job. Would I go back? I'll have to if I still have Progressive..LOL read more

Close to perfect stars. Garber Buick and Garber Nissan/Dodge both have excellent selection of used and new cars, and a very good staff to work with. Their Service department is also excellent doing an awesome job and keeping vehicle clean (Floor mats etc.) while in their care. One down fall was I had to call to see if vehicle was done instead of someone contacting me. My Salesperson was Julio Rodriguez he was very helpful getting me to payments I could make. I bought a lemon from Julio in used cars. Once I had the car home for 2 days it started leaking oil all over my driveway. They did agree to repair it only to have a leak in the rear of my vehicle 5 days after that. When I brought this to his attention he would not return my phone calls and neither would his supervisor, Tom. When I was forced to go back to the dealership because of this I was told by service that Tom wouldn't repair the vehicle. If I wanted it done it would cost a minimum of $500. I work with the public on a daily basis and will make certain that every hard working person that I know will not use their money at Garber Buick because of the extremely poor service and quality of their vehicles. Had some collision work on my truck in the body shop. They had called and told me that my truck was done, I had to return the truck 3 times. Each time I had picked the truck up something was still wrong. The last time I got the truck there was a bungee cord in the engine compartment holding up a hose.
