I recently bought a used 2023 Honda Pilot that had highly illegal levels of tint that made it dangerous to see when driving at night. So with either tint removal or actual tinting services, these are your guys! Plus they are reasonably priced. Thank you Super Tinting!

Couldn't be happier, frankly. Jake is extremely personable and a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable, and does a very thorough and professional job. The overall cost and price was very fair and reasonable, imo. We'll definitely be back for other projects and look forward to the next one.

Did not go for the real dark stuff. Went with a 30% tint and it looks elegant. The plan was to leave the car there and get a ride there and back but my ride fell through. They graciously offered to drop me off at a coffee shop so I could continue working. I took them up on the offer. They also picked me up when the car was finished. The result was great. I paid $240 for the service, plus a $35 tip, and I honestly regret spending that much considering the experience and results. First, the detail took TWO DAYS to complete. I've had my car detailed before and it has typically taken around 6 hours, so I was surprised by how long this took. The lack of professionalism was also frustrating. Their posted business hours on the door say 8 AM-5 PM, but both times I came in, they were not open at 8 AM. When I dropped my car off, I waited about 10 minutes past opening. When I came back to pick it up, I waited around 40 minutes for someone to finally open the door. When the employee eventually came to the door, there was no apology. He simply said, "Oh, I just woke up." I found that extremely unprofessional, especially after waiting outside for 40 minutes during their posted business hours. The shop itself was also very dirty, which did not give me much confidence in a business specializing in detailing and cleanliness. Most importantly, I'm not happy with the actual detail. After paying $240, my car honestly doesn't look noticeably different. I originally brought it in because of the smoke smell, and now, two days later, my car has an extremely strong chemical smell instead. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

I dropped it off the night before, and called the morning of pickup to confirm the interior would be fully cleaned and disinfected. Sergio assured me it would be. When I got home and inspected it: *No change in smell -- not disinfected *Seats and carpets showed no signs of shampooing *Dirt and scuffs still on interior panels *Sticky residue still inside the center console *Dirt visible under folded rear seats *No protectant or finishing treatment applied The only obvious work was clean glass and a quick exterior shine. But here's what really stood out: I should have known better. The truck was being cleaned in a muddy alley behind the shop, surrounded by puddles and grime. I had to point out fresh mud on the running boards and door jambs. Sergio was still vacuuming the truck bed with an old, worn shop vac when I arrived -- after saying the job had taken all day. Take a moment to look around when you drop off your vehicle. The "detailing area" is in a muddy, dirty alley with standing water and debris. The workspace itself appears minimally equipped. It does not resemble a professional detailing operation. In hindsight, the condition of the shop and alley matched the condition of the interior work: surface-level and incomplete. Many of the positive reviews are several years old. Based on my experience, I would not rely on them. Inspect your vehicle very carefully before paying.

That being said, he is damn good at what he does - and he does it for less than anyone I've ever seen - it is a great deal. The shop may not be the most amazing looking, but he does a perfect job and is honest about what needed to be done. I assumed I needed to do full car tint and he pointed out that only the front and drivers side/passenger side didn't have tint - so there was no point in tinting the whole car. So price drop + good service. Not a "whee I can sell more services on you/make more money!". There really isn't too much to be said about tints on a car, but I was doing it out concern for a family situation. There was some unfamiliarity with tints on my side - so I didn't realize there is a sort of "temporary bubbling" that goes away after ~24 hours of curing, but all in all - if I ever need tints again, I will go here.

I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. Not cheap, but a worthy investment on an expensive vehicle. I highly recommend.
