The sauce had a slightly sweet flavor that worked really well with all the toppings, and the pizza overall was flavorful and satisfying. What impressed me most was that we popped in pretty close to closing time, and the pizza was still fresh and tasted like it had just come out of the oven. That's always a good sign. The crust had a nice texture, and they didn't skimp on the meat. Pizza was made fast by the time I walked down and picked it up It is a little on the pricey side, but honestly, it's Lake Placid -- that's pretty much expected. For a solid late-night treat in a tourist town, it delivered. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

A disappointing experience overall. The menu selection is surprisingly small, and to make matters…read moreworse, part of our food order was completely misplaced by the staff. The biggest frustration was the pricing: we were heavily nickeled and dimed for drinks, with every single soft drink refill costing an absurd $4. No notation of that on the menu or mentioned by the waitress. When the food finally arrived, it failed to deliver. The Bolognese was essentially just a bowl of plain sauce with no real substance, and the Chicken Parmesan was overwhelmingly just a plate of pasta with a small piece of chicken breast. (I've made better at home) For a $24 chicken parm you'd think you'd get a side salad and some bread as well. Nope. Just the dish itself that left a lot to be desired. Upon walking in we wondered why the place was so empty, but figured it was because it was off the beaten path. No, the locals must know it leaves something to be desired. With the misplaced order and overpriced drinks, not to mention the additional $3.14 credit card charge. Adding up the bill after it was swiped didn't make sense and when we received our credit card slip the itemized receipt was gone. A $100 for a meal that should have cost a little bit more than half that. I cannot recommend this place
