Very promising beginning. Sales people do their job well. We had good recommendations and price…read morenegotiations. the problem came when it was time to do the install. It was not Floor Trader who showed up. They subcontracted us to someone else, who I was unable to communicate with due to a language barrier. I don't care where people are born, okay, but I would like to be able to communicate with people who are working in my home so that if there is an issue we can both understand what is happening! One of the gentleman spoke spotty English (certainly better than my Spanish, which is nil.) so we were able to work through the fact Floor Trader did not tell him that furniture movement was necessary, or that he would have to cut around the cabinets because the current floor extended underneath them. Or that there was damage to be fixed to the subfloor in the kitchen where tile removal had unlevelled the area. If I had been able to speak to them however, I would have also expressed the fact that there are soft spots in the new floor. Places that bow when I walk on them. In less than a month, the quarter round came off in once place where they had brad nailed into thin air, and a few months later the entire piece under the front door came loose. Where it is still attached it is hideous because the caulking job done between it and the baseboard looks like a child smeared sugar cake icing and let it dry - thick, jagged lines. Why didn't I take these complaints to Floor Trader directly you ask? #1, because I was 8 months pregnant and TIRED. But #2, because, ONCE THEY HAD MY MONEY THEY NEVER REACHED OUT TO ME AGAIN. Not to confirm that someone showed up to do the work. Not to confirm that the work was done. Not to ask about progress, and certainly never to do a "how did it go?" questionnaire. Not once. No Email. No Text. No Call. Probably the only reason they knew the install was happening was because the men on site kept having to call their own boss who would call Floor Trader to confirm things they should have already been told (like the furniture removal requirement). The guys were amazingly silent though. No stereo, no phone calls, no earbuds. And it was HOT but they never complained. I offered to set up a fan for them, but they declined. I think maybe it would have blown around too much dust? Oh, and we are missing the threshold we paid for. It's not one I cared about as it was leading into a closet, but the point is it was on the schematic. Anyway, would not recommend.

My husband and I went in person to Floor Trader and chose our samples and what we got vs what we chose is completely different! At the very least so no other person is in the same circumstance that l find myself in, the company should discard that "sample" of the floors that were in the showroom. How is your company and also the manufacturer okay with me just simply hating my floors? This was supposed to be a lovely experience and between Floor Trader (Andrew you were actually very nice and helpful) and my incompetent contractors, this was a terrible experience and I would not recommended doing business with anyone involved in the future. I am aware that Floor Trader is just the supplier and not the manufacturer but they were no help at all when I voiced my concerns and now I'm just stuck with floors that I truly detest. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

What a great team! What a great product!…read more I spent a large amount of time looking for flooring before deciding to purchase from Cherry Carpet. Why them? Best Price after looking everywhere! Best Selection after looking everywhere! Knowledgeable and relatable Sales Team. Knew their products and even showed pictures of their own homes, where they had installed some of the products. Wonderful family feel -They were not snobbish or condescending which was experienced at other locations. Great Service! Spent time answering questions, researching and finding solutions to unusual concerns. Great Workmanship. All the contractors used for installations were wonderful and did a great job. Everyone was professional and enjoyable. I spent a reasonable amount completing a renovation of flooring with them throughout my home, and never was I concerned with Cherry Carpet. I had to extend my purchase with them for almost a year, due to delays in renovations and they never expressed concern with the time or the payment. From Halley to Ashley to Lisa and their former Manager, Eric, a GREAT team. I have referred others to them, I will continue to do so. I will definitely return to Cherry Carpet should I need something else. This is a wonderful place for feeling confident that your needs will be met.

For all the military people out there - I first checked out Cherry Flooring after my realtor said an O-6 submariner did research on all the surrounding flooring companies and, after crunching the numbers, picked Cherry Flooring. That was enough of an endorsement for me! If you know, you know. Thank you to the submariner for your service to the flooring customer base! The Cherry Flooring Staff- While the product may ultimately matter most, the Cherry Flooring staff are top-notch. I felt like they were family by the time I was done redoing 90% of the flooring in my house. For background, I had just finished two back-to-back overseas tours, bought my first house, and decided to redo a lot of the house on a tight budget and timeline. What could go wrong? Amanda spent so much time with me as I repeatedly came back "just to look" because I couldn't make a decision! Once I finally selected everything I wanted, the dreaded COVID had other plans and delayed the products I had finally chosen... back to the drawing board. Amanda and the team didn't skip a beat. They found a similar product, negotiated prices for me, and next thing you know the flooring was installed and I was one happy Sailor! The Cherry Flooring Product- Carpet - The carpet I bought has been great. In hind sight, I should have skipped buying white carpet. That said, this carpet is incredible. I spilled a curry tomato sauce on it, didn't notice it for days, and thought for sure it would never come out. I was wrong! It came right up! Luxury Vinyl Flooring - Initially, I wanted hardwood. Forget that! The LVP is the way to go. So easy to clean, looks incredible, and I will never get a different type of flooring again. White Carpet - your days are numbered. The Installation - The installation was so easy, I was at work and the team kept me updated via text and Amanda checked-in on me multiple times. What can I say, I was nervous! The only issue I ran into was with my subfloor. If I could go back and do it again, I would make sure my subfloor was ready for new flooring. I have places where it wasn't even and had objects embedded into it causing bumps. I also would have added a thicker padding under the carpet. Hindsight is 20/20. To wrap up - I highly recommend Cherry Flooring and they will be my first call for all future flooring needs!

Outstanding Experience with Artistic Flooring!…read more Artistic Flooring did a fantastic job from start to finish. Billy, the owner, runs a true turnkey operation -- from product selection and demo/disposal to prep, installation, and final finishing, everything was handled seamlessly. Unlike other companies where you buy materials and then have to find your own installers, Artistic manages the entire process with zero finger-pointing. The installation crew was exceptional. Caleb led the team with Anthony, Xavier, and Tanner -- all prompt, professional, and courteous. Their attention to detail was remarkable; you'd think they were working on their own homes. My project was more complex than most, with laminate plank flooring installed on a diagonal, requiring countless precision cuts and careful layout. They handled it flawlessly. When we discovered some damaged plywood under the old flooring from a previous window leak, Caleb and Anthony replaced the subfloor quickly and professionally, keeping the schedule right on track. Everything -- from moving and resetting furniture and appliances to reinstalling toilets, painting, and caulking the white quarter round -- was done with care and craftsmanship. If you want a flooring company that delivers quality, professionalism, and true accountability, Artistic Flooring is the one to choose. Billy and his team are as good as it gets!

Breathtakingly beautiful floors are what Artistic Flooring brings into a home. Words are not enough…read moreto express my satisfaction with Artistic Flooring. If floors were music, Artistic Flooring is a symphony composer. Billy, the owner: From day one, Billy always showed that he was an expert in his field, which made me confident in the company's ability to help me (after a prior contractor had significantly marred my floors). Whenever there is significant project in a home, it is an incredibly stressful and nerve-wracking, and, after a bad experience, hard to trust. Billy's calm and confident demeanor really reassured me that I, and my house, would survive the disaster in my home and everything would be better than new by the end of Artistic Flooring's project. I had no idea how truly exceptional and stunning the floors would become with Artistic Flooring. Chris, the Refinishing Guru: Chris is a phenomenal craftsman, effectively a master artisan, when it comes to hardwood floors. Chris is not only exceptionally skilled but also possesses an intuitive, zen-like, understanding of wood. His attention to detail was incomparable and resulted in table top smooth floors. In fact, I ran a silk scarf across the floors throughout my house with not a single snag - and this was BEFORE staining and finishing. During the process, Chris was always looking for ways to better enhance the final product. When I was having difficulty deciding between two stains, Chris applied them in multiple rooms and encouraged me to view them at different times of the day. After taking the time to listen to my thoughts the next day, he suggested two coats of stain to obtain the depth I was looking for (something other contractors will not do). The end result was breathtakingly beautiful floors. Deanna, the project manager: Deanna demonstrated a deep, thorough understanding of the entire refinishing process as well as flooring and stain options. Deanna took well over an hour to not only patiently help this poor novice comprehend the hardwood flooring process but also to understand my household and what my needs and preferences were. Deanna was adept at managing the entire refinishing process, always friendly, while consistently following up and staying on top of the myriad of details. I can see why Deanna was a recipient of the Top 40 under 40 Award by Hardwood Floors Magazine in 2023.
