Landed on Chris after going through a dozen other Contactor's for a fence rebuild. Best pricing, reliable and professional. Would recommend!

That being said, the mess I was left with leads me to now believe otherwise. I had a pipe in front of my home that needed replacing. To do this a small section of lawn had to be dug up. While it was dug up, I was upsold on a 2 way clean out installation which caused more digging but when I brought up the concern of my lawn, I was assured they would fill the hole back in and get it flattened out for me. Unfortunately that did not happen. I was left with a mess and was told that when it rains, it will level out. Over time it rained and only got worse and in this review I will post the progression, or regression I should say. On top of that, when I contacted Russell's in regards to the issue initially I was told that they were sorry and that they'd have someone call me to schedule a time to come out and rectify the issue. However I then received a call from a manager named David, that said the opposite. He said they aren't responsible for refilling the hole or ruts they dug. I then left them a Google review and now was contacted on my review by the "owner" who requested me to contact the branch directly to solve the issue. I called every single day for over a week before I finally spoke to someone who then a 2nd time told me Russells will not come back out to fill the holes or ruts. Personally I think that if they are comfortable leaving such a terrible looking finish on the job they did, then I'm led to believe the work they did that I can't see is just as sloppy if not worse. I also took the time to call around to other plumbing companies in the area to ask about the cost of service and how they'd leave the lawn afterwards and every other service had a lower price, AND assured they'd level my lawn. Some even have straw blankets and rye seed worked into the price (which is still lower than Russell's) so save your money, your lawn, your plumbing, and call a good reputable company in the area that does good work. Literally any other company that locally pops up in Hampton roads when you google plumbing.

A 5 star experience for a recent Mother's Day arrangement of flowers…read more There is no day like Mother's Day and making it special for Mom. So the idea of a permanent planted arrangement seemed like something perfect for the patio. McDonald's was contacted over the phone a week + out before Mother's Day. I worked with Patrice who emailed different ideas they could do from pots to plants etc. He was so passionate about his trade and left me even more excited that he alone would be the point. Ultimately hydrangeas was chosen as the plant with sweet potatoes. They had many pots to choose from, but a more neutral with a butterfly seemed perfect. The cost was $97. Patrice assured that the plant would be watered and ready for pick up days before Mother's Day. On Saturday I went to McDonald's and after locating Patrice he rolled the plant out. I must say I was overwhelmed with the size. It was huge and gorgeous! Patrice did a video of care instructions as he took ownership of seeing everything through. He also at no charge through in a ceramic tray to hep with transport, but also for any leakage of water with a weep hole at the bottom. The delivery was marvelous and enjoyed by Mom. I cannot say enough positive about this experience. Other staff assisted me and were helpful and enthusiastic about their job. You just don't see this in other big box places ole Lowes and Home Depot. McDonald's is a one stop locally owned since 1947 garden center. They can do it all and the visit is impressive to see the selections. Highly recommend.

We hired Jesse and his team to paint our primary residence in preparation for a spring sale and it made a vast difference in our marketing. Not only did we sell our home quickly, and for top dollar, we enjoyed having Jesse's team at our home during a stressful renovation period. They worked collaboratively, communicated respectfully, and brought a comfortable energy to our home during their working hours. They cleaned up after themselves and Jesse was sure to come by regularly to check on the work. When our bathroom paint bubbled because the previous flipper did not prime the walls well, they executed the repair work perfectly. Although the exact color I wanted was not available, Jesse went to his paint store and custom ordered a color that was an excellent match - had he not told me, I would not have known the difference. Though this review is long over due, it was well earned. Thank you Jesse for an excellent job. We have passed your company information along to the new buyers in case they need to order more paint through you.

He and his team did a fabulous job sanding and scrapping all the old paint off. Then they applied three coats of Sherwin-Williams satin latex paint to the trim. Any company with 4 & 5-star ratings on both Google and Yelp must be a great company. For our next painting job, it'll definitely be with All American Beach Painting.

No inside lock on the front door. Very dangerous with little children. House only has 6 lounge chairs. Definitely will not rent from Sandbridge Blue again. We have been coming here for over 20 years. We still had a great time with our family but very disappointed with the property Sandpiper Crossings

My family and I just rented Wish Upon A Star in Sandbridge and we were beyond disappointed. I will…read morereview the house as well as the property mngmt company, Sandbridge Blue, but AVOID this property. It is NOT worth what you pay. First, the house. We paid a little more than 14k to stay from June 22-29, 2024. The furniture is incredibly cheap and uncomfortable. This place feels like a short term rental as opposed to a comfortable/homey property. Many of the mattresses are stained and none had mattresses protectors. There were layers of dirt/dust in the rattan furniture in the family room and in the vents (please note rattan furniture is being used as main furniture). There were stains on the walls (bathroom, kitchen, stairways, bedrooms), and it is clear/evident the house is in poor condition. There were cobwebs EVERYWHERE. The stove is dated and the bathrooms need a complete overhaul. The water on the fridge didn't even work and we were never notified in advance. We constantly experienced issues with sinks and showers backing up even after maintenance came out mid-trip. The sliding doors need to be replaced and constantly go off track. We enjoyed the layout of the main floor and the kids enjoyed the pool. However, the volleyball area has not been tended to and had rocks/pine cones all over it. Second, the property mngmt company. We have rented from Sandbridge Blue in the past and when we reported issues re the cleanliness of the property on this trip, they immediately offered to send someone over but I was not about to displace 20 people so a proper cleaning, which should have been done before we arrived, could be completed. I acknowledge 2 or 3 property mngmt companies have a monopoly on summer rentals in Sandbridge but I would like to understand what recommendations these mngmt companies make to property owners and whether rental rates are adjusted if owners do not tend to the homes. The items I'm complaining about in 2024 sound eerily familiar to reviews from 2020. The bedding and towels were cheap and uncomfortable, pillows were torn and feathers were busting out of them. There were dust bunnies and hair in the hinges of bedroom doors! The kitchen was one of the worst stocked I've ever experienced (we had to purchase a blender). Had we paid $5-7k for the week, I wouldn't have been upset (aside from the dirtiness). But after paying more than 14k, the property owners and Sandbridge Blue should be embarrassed at the condition and price point of this house. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend using Sandbridge Blue again knowing the condition of their rentals and the price point.

In October, they followed up to say they were looking for the correct window stripping so they could provide a quote. I called again to inquire a status, they said they were still looking for the window stripping. They called and said they couldn't find the window stripping, the tech was on a bigger job now and is not available. In November, a representative called to say that a tech would follow up to see if they could schedule something (yay!). I told her that the work still needed to be done and I would still like to use their services. In December, another representative called, said there was a misunderstanding, the previous rep was wrong and that they couldn't schedule anything and no one was available to look for the window stripping. Also, the other representative didn't work there anymore. I followed up again, and they confirmed that they had the original doorbell repair request in addition to the window stripping request (it was never about not being able to find the stripping). I requested that they escalate my request and was promised a call from the general manager, as I really wanted the work completed. I never heard from him. In January, I got a callback from a rep after following up again, who mentioned that the original tech was put on a big project by the GM, so that is why he never finished my job. Also they lost 3 techs and have been busy. I was told that I could expect a callback today by the office manager. I said to the person I spoke to, that the doorbell was still not working, and the window stripping is still deteriorating. I did get a callback from the office manager. She had listened to all of the recorded phone calls and said that there was a misunderstanding and that my weather stripping could not be replaced by them. She suggested that I find another provider for both jobs. I asked why they couldn't still do the doorbell and she said they didn't have an appointment until March 27. I said that would be fine and I requested the appointment. They declined and said that I needed to find another handyman company and said it was "not a 'good fit'". That's what they call consumers who expect the advertised services. See attached 'so hard to find' weatherstripping.
