Gap isn't really my cup of tea, and I put it in much the same category as Next. Boring, and for oldies or really youngies.
Baby Gap is stunning, but adult Gap is boring. It is really suburbany, Americanised and bland, the kind of stuff that I will probably inevitably wear when I'm 50. I remember when it used to be cool as cool can be to be seen in a Gap hoodie, so I finally persuaded my mum to shell out for a nice red one. Shortly after that, Gap was suddenly the anagram for 'Gay And Proud'- so noone wanted to wear it anymore. FML.
My boyfriend recieved a couple of bits and bobs from here for his birthday, and they were actually very nice. He got a navy blue cardi-jumper thing, which was theeee cosiest jumper I have ever stolen off of him, and a zipper which was un-offensive. It probably cost a fortune though, and this is where my problem really lies with Gap- for what you get, although the quality is great, the actual stylishness is zilch, and it costs a pretty penny.
