Sandwich was good, a bit overpriced but tasty. Menu is pretty extensive, something for everyone.

The bright orange sign is your beacon to delicious pizza! Pull in, find a spot and head inside to a gorgeous cafe-esque pizza shop. A beautiful slice display showcasing 6 different pizzas, and plenty of local options for soda, beer and wine. They make NY style pizza here at Rhody Slice. The staff here are always friendly and efficient. The person helping you is usually the one making it, so it's nice to be able to speak to your pizza maker directly if you have specific needs! We were pretty simple today, half pepperoni and half meatball. I love their crust the most. It has great texture, and it's so tasty. You can really taste the care they put in the dough. They tend to go lighter on the sauce, so keep that in mind if you are a sauce-forward pizza lover. The pepperoni are all beef and the meatballs are clearly homemade and tender. The pizza eats easily, it's so light! Between the two of us, we crushed the whole pie. Another satisfying lunch at Rhody Slice! It's not hard to overlook this place among the many plazas on Post Rd. Blink and you drive past it. So take it from me, keep your eyes peeled for the orange sign because you won't want to miss your turn.

The crust was thin, which I know is typical for gluten free, but mine was a bit burnt around the edges and a little light on sauce and cheese. The flavor itself was ok and it actually reheated well the next day, which I appreciated. My boyfriend ordered the 18" hot honey pizza and said it was solid. Not the best he's ever had, not the worst, just a good, straightforward pizza. It was on the pricier side, especially with the added card and app fees. Overall it was fine, just not a standout first impression. I'm willing to give it another try and hope for a better experience next time.

When we first arrived there was a small crowd at the bar and we sat in the dining room. By the time we left, every seat was taken! They have a small menu that they are constantly switching up with what is in season with the exception of a few menu staples like the smash bruger. The interior has a Scandinavian/farm house influence and is really beautifully done. You get a focaccia of the day, our's was rosemary and grape. Super intersting and tasty. We also tried the zuchinni bread and while delicious to me I would have been happy just sticking with the focaccia. We also got the braised lamb which was very good and the halibut. The fish was excellent it was perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and had a lovely fresh veggie salad to accompany it. We were too full to go for dessert or a dessert espresso martini. But will have to give both a try in the future. As the weather starts to warm up they do also have some patio tables outside.

Attractive clean interior and there's a patio area by the water which will be a popular spot come summer season. We started with their Oysters Rockefeller (delicious and decadent with a very good bechamel and garlicky breadcrumbs); the Oysters Loaded (delicately flavored, with a crème fraiche and caviar topping); and an eggplant campanata (which was easily the best of the apps! Great grilled polenta bed and wonderfully tasty roasted eggplant and other vegetables). (Our server told us the chefs were formerly with Matunuck Oyster Bar which explains the excellence of these dishes.). I had the duck cassoulet which had a good crispy skin and lean meat; the braised white beans were delicious. My daughters each had the goat cheese and fig jam hamburger which they thought was quite good. My wife had a tomato soup and Caesar salad which she thought was good but not great. For dessert there was only one choice: homemade cookies with ice cream. While good and able to satisfy the sweet tooth I was hoping for other options. Service was warm and considerate.

Wickford on the Water has a prime spot with water views from their deck and side windows. In summer this place if full most days due to it's location. Recently we stopped in for lunch. The street side of the building is a dining room, while the water side is a bar area with bar seating and high top tables. Single men's and women's rooms are in the hallway connecting the two spaces. Wait to be seated by the hostess. On our visit, the hostess sent us down the hall to 'see Angelo' in the bar as the dining room was full. Angelo let us pick a table and brought menus. We placed our drink order and spent a good deal of time looking over the menu. Angelo was patient and gave us plenty of time to decide. Their website has options for ordering pick-up or delivery through door dash where you can view those menu options, but not 'just the menu' as a stand alone page to preview. It was a sunny, cold day and I decided on the short rib shepherds pie and a side salad. The salad arrived first. It was very lightly dressed with fresh lettuce and brittle croutons. The shepherds pie arrived in a casserole, hot from the oven with cheese melted over the potatoes. My first bite was potatoes. They were tasty enough with the melted cheese on top. No need for salt or other seasonings. My second bite had a mere hint of meat in an oily sauce under all those potatoes. After eating a quarter of the dish and finding very little short rib, I began to move the potato out of the way to access the meat. This revealed an inconsistent, thin film of meat at the bottom of the bowl. I do love potatoes, and these were tasty, however, for that price, I expect more protein. The restaurant was quiet during our visit. They have a nice mix of relaxing, current music playing in the background. The restaurant and restroom were clean. Deck dining and bar, in warmer weather, is a nice option and the menu offers a variety of food choices from apps to entrees. Staff are competent. Parking is on-street and in the local public lot nearby.
