Then for $.75 extra, I added hot cherry pepper relish. The meats were decently tender, and not chewy, but they all lacked flavor. More grilling or marinade could've been used. Charging an extra $.75 each for lettuce, tomato, olives, cucumbers, pickles, etc. Really? That's absurd.

Though many fresh looking ingredients were available, we each opted to go traditional by choosing lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. The pitas were quite large, but were not heated. Though the second gyro was free courtesy of our Newport County Dinner Club card, I cannot envision us returning in the future.

The ocean view made an already pleasant morning even more enjoyable. As someone who prefers a lighter breakfast, I was thrilled to find avocado toast and several other options that fit exactly what I was looking for. We started with two iced coffees, and I appreciated that they offered almond milk as a dairy-free alternative. I ordered the avocado toast, which is served on a pita rather than traditional bread. Topped with cucumber, tomato, and olives, it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect light breakfast. My husband ordered an omelet and said it was fantastic. His only suggestion would be a larger portion of the breakfast potatoes, but otherwise he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The service was quick, accommodating, and very friendly throughout our visit. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, this was a wonderful breakfast experience. We can't wait to come back and try some of their lunch offerings. Highly recommend

And eat here, we did !! YiaYia's was so good. We ordered a bowl of lentil soup to share, which was delicious. Then, we each got our own pita sandwich. My husband ordered the GYRO PITA, which had grilled gyro meat, peppers, tomato, onion & tzatziki sauce, and I ordered an EGGPLANT PITA, which had fresh mozzarella, feta, grilled eggplant & olive oil, sitting open face on some grilled pita bread. We swapped half of our sandwiches, so we could each try the other's. We both liked the gyro pita a little more than mine (the eggplant), but make no mistake, they were BOTH GREAT. His was just a little bit better... so he told me afterward he was sorry he gave up his half sandwich... even though he liked the eggplant. I understood... but was secretly glad I got his half cuz it was really good. : ) We spoke with the owners, who were very nice. They asked us to come back, and while we said we would... and had every intention to do so cuz the food was so good, we just ran ourselves out of time. I was thinking we could get there for breakfast the next day, but it never happened... so for me, that just means we'll have to make good on the deal and get back to Newport (someday) and get that breakfast !! Too bad we live 3,000 miles away. It might take us awhile.

The restaurant itself is spacious and I loved their photos on Lebanon. Our waitress was accommodating and took great care of us. Their menu is expansive and eventually I settled on the viral wrap and my partner had the Habibi wrap. Our food came out quickly and was served piping hot. I loved the flavors of my wrap and the portion of lamb was generous along with seeming to be high quality. My significant other enjoyed his wrap as well and it definitely was large and came with French fries. I'm giving four stars because I felt the execution of my dish was a little off. The wrap was cut into three pieces and had dollops of toum on top. It would have been much easier to eat if the toum was on side in a bowl for dipping. Being cut in to three pieces meant that a lot of the ingredients would fall out when I took a bite leading to a huge mess. The fries while nice and crispy were also pretty salty. Finally, the prices are a little steep. I know the food tastes high quality but almost $60 for two drinks and two wraps was a hefty penny. I would definitely come back to Habibi's, but instead of what I ordered today I'd try their plates.
