Ganjarunner used to be a great service. Now, their stock is limited. Their online chat support is either not available or inept. I used to be able to special order my favs in quantity - no more. Now they have a "take what we've got or else" attitude. Their online order system has also become much more confusing and you might THINK you were ordering next-day delivery and then have them split the order between two days w/o asking you if that's OK first. BEWARE: Today, I thought I purchased a Sativa strain with 21% THC but when it arrived the label says it's an Indica-dominant hybrid with only 17% THC. I agree with the other recent review. I've been using Ganjarunner since shortly after moving back to California a couple years ago, placing orders on average every 1-2 weeks. The service has, until this week, been mostly good--occasional glitches but usually something that could be worked out. Outside of the glitches, the vast majority of the time--prior to this week--the service has been great! However something seems to have gone wrong this week. Usually Ganjarunner has some products, presumably already with their drivers in their vehicles, available for immediate delivery and a wider range available for scheduled delivery the next day. I was therefore surprised to see nothing available for immediate purchase on Monday because that was a bit uncharacteristic of them. Monday being Labor Day, though, I gave them the benefit of the doubt--figured they were just sold out due to the long weekend--and placed an order for delivery on Tuesday. However on the Tuesday my order was unexpectedly cancelled without explanation. This is definitely out of character on Ganjarunner's part. Usually in the past if an order needed to be cancelled there was better communication as to whether a substitute item needed to be provided or they needed to delay delivery or whatever. This time there was no communication at all. Getting on their chat service produced no response after hours. Calling led to being put on hold for half an hour, then transferred to voicemail which wasn't returned. Today is now Wednesday and, as of today, no products at all are listed for sale on the Ganjarunner website. It is unclear if they are completely out of stock of everything or if perhaps they are going out of business. Either way it would be better if they communicated better. I still got an email today from Ganjarunner with a discount code for their products ("Weed Wednesday") but there are exactly zero items for sale when I go to their website to use the Weed Wednesday discount code. Meanwhile I was able to place an order with a competitor, my first time ordering from the competitor, and the competitor was able to deliver in about 90 minutes despite having to deal with the paperwork for me as a first time customer. read more

First thing I noticed was I never received a confirmation from them - no call, text, email etc. I did place vía WeedMaps but every other delivery service I've tried (8-10) has always called or texted to confirm or let me know where to get updates, share an ETA, etc. After an hour and a half I tried calling, option 2 for updates or changes left me on hold for 20+ mins. I tried option 1 for new orders and it went to voicemail. The chat function on their website has not responded. It's 4pm on a Tuesday but it seems like no one works here and there's no infrastructure to get help. The one good thing is I they charge on delivery so I wasn't charged, but I would have loved to know 2 hours ago if they were closed or couldn't fill my order so I could order elsewhere (still don't know). I was a little perturbed by this and asked them to cancel my order. The lady on the phone hung up on me. TLDR: Save your time and money and buy elsewhere. Bad service and product. I bought from Ganjarunner a few times as a weed delivery service is awesome if you are in a hurry and don't live close to any dispensaries. Unfortunately dealing with Ganjarunner has been a huge headache the few times I have used them. They promise either a 90-minute rush delivery or next day with selected time slots that have a 1-hour window. The problem is they NEVER deliver during the times that you selected so you have to literally wait likely several hours to the entire day for your delivery driver to arrive. This includes the rush delivery option as well as I waited 4+ hours for my driver to arrive with no notification that they are behind or running late. And if you want to contact support make sure to grab a cup of coffee and get comfortable because each time I called I was on hold for at least 10 minutes before someone picked up or I was directed to voicemail. If you leave a voicemail as I did I wouldn't expect to get a call back either as I sure as hell didn't get one. Lastly, and probably the most important thing for most is the weed. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!! It is the driest weed I have ever purchased. It just crumbles into dust when you break it up. It also barely got me high at all and tasted terrible. I'm not a heavy smoker usually only going through an 8th at the most in a week but with this Sour Maui that I got from Ganjarunner I smoked a quarter in the same amount of time I usually only smoke an 8th because it just was that poor of a product. Since then, I have placed 4 orders in the last month and have not bothered with that other delivery service. Their customer service support number is quick to answer and has always helped me. Inquiries can be Tweeted, too. THE POSITIVES: * Many product prices are lower than walk-in dispensaries (applies to tax as well [at least where I live]) * Frequent "No Tax Tuesdays" * Card payments accepted * Almost daily emails with deals or coupons and product updates * Ability to schedule deliveries 3 days out with several 1-hour windows available with the latest one for 9PM-10PM * More products are available to order when scheduling a delivery * If your delivery is late, they will compensate you with a discount code via text message within a of couple of days THE NEGATIVES: ** The Vault App: * This third-party payment sending/receiving app is limited in its features and is very basic. The first time I used it, I received a text from my driver that an invoice had been sent and I needed to download this app. I set up my account and added a card quickly and was able to view the invoice before paying. There is a driver tip that allows you to choose between three percentages of your order but $2.50 is added on as a fee for paying with a card. It's the same type of fee brick and mortar stores try to charge when paying with a card for a purchases under $10, which is illegal. I honestly do not know if this is a Vault charge or a GR charge. ** The Vault App: * On my third order, I received a very late text that my driver had barely sent the invoice and was already at my residence. I went to Vault but had no new/unpaid invoices. I texted the driver to let him know and he swore he sent it so I killed Vault and reopened it. Still nothing. I opened my door and told the driver I still didn't get an invoice. He looks at his phone, shrugs and laughs "It says it's been paid so here 'ya go." and hands me my bag. I go back to Vault and I still have no new invoices. Then, I look at the completed transactions and there it is, paid in full and everything. In the in-app support, I briefly explain what just happened. I get a message back stating "Thank you for contacting customer support. Money requests are not automatic, you must view the transaction, edit the tip, and approve the transaction. Our system doesn't allow for automatic payments." Vault received 1 star on Google Play from me and it has an average rating of 3.9 stars. The reviews all state similar issues with 0 developer responses. ** The Vault App: * After not wanting any further invoices paid without my knowledge, I removed my card. I placed my fourth order with GR for a future delivery and the day of the delivery, I went to add my card back to Vault when I receive the message: "Deleted card. Cannot re-add it." Hahaha, WHAT!? Is this app for real!? I had to call GR and switch my order to cash. I am not a cash-carrying person and very, very rarely pay with cash. My credit union is not near my home and off-brand ATMs charge astronomical withdrawal fees. Luckily, I got $40 from a housemate. Well, now I found out that drivers don't carry change so I had to fork over $40 for a $25 order. I didn't think to ask when I had to notify GR about changing my order to cash nor did they divulge that I needed to have the exact amount. Since I'm out $15, having that driver claim they didn't know they were supposed to come to my door (uh, it's a delivery service), and then not being able to find my apartment, I really don't know if I'll be using Ganja Runner again. It's a damn shame because their prices are great, not needing to go inside a dispensary during these "unprecedented times" is helpful, and when I was able, paying with a card was extremely convenient. First off, customer service has been very helpful and everyone I spoke to was very kind. Delivery driver was sweet as well. Unfortunately I had issues with the wrong product arriving twice. They were easy to get a hold of and were quick to resolve the issue. With no hesitation, they sent out a driver again to delivery to correct product. Unfortunately still resolving the issue after placing the initial order nearly 7 hrs ago. They have had pretty poor communication. Upon placing my original order, it took roughly 3 hours to receive my delivery. There is barely any communication on delivery status. A heads up on delivery estimates would be nice after placing the order, along with better communication with the customer as when the product is actually en route and approaching. The dashboard was inaccurate and stuck at a percentage status for quite some time past the product actually being delivered. I also think the payment should clearly state you are using a 3rd party electronic payment system (they use The Vault- something similar to Venmo). Stating that you accept credit cards, but receive a payment request via a different app is a bit misleading. Completely understand you can't accept direct CC payments due to the nature of the industry, but a little transparency would be nice. Today, an hour after I placed my order they called and wanted my license which they have on file and a bill at my current address. I declined and cancelled the order. Hi, cancer patient here who has consistently relied on Ganjarunner until they were no longer reliable. So because I've had to suffer from chemo effects all night and got no sleep because their fuckup and lack of vision and strategy caused me serious pain, my only distraction is to make sure I post this on every review board I find until my physical pain goes away or I finally fall asleep, whichever comes first. Not only did it take three hours for my order to be "close by enough" (finally 18 minutes away) for the driver to finally reach out to me with a link to pay before he got here to avoid any issues..But because its Vault App is shit, it gave me error messages when paying until it locked me out. The driver's initial message should've been my first indication that this has likely happened before. I informed driver via text. I get a call from someone live (I refuse to refer to these people as ("customer support") who was informed of the issue by the driver. It is almost 9:30pm now, so here I am thinking "okay, good I can just give them my credit card number." NOPE. Here's how that went: Customer Disservice: Um yeah, after a few attempts it locks you out for 24 hours so the only way would be to pay with cash. Me: But I don't have cash. Now having dealt with them for a third time I can say the customer service is horrible. Would say they have a great selection of products that make up for it but they called me on 3 different occasions for the same order to tell me 3 out of 4 of the products weren't even available (which is weird cuz they STILL have them on the site). My first order went ok but they did not honor the delivery time and one of the products they brought was the wrong flavor and had to be exchanged the next day and AGAIN they didnt honor the scheduled time of delivery. Don't think I'll be using them again. . . . Edit: for the idiots who find my experience funny but wouldn't dare laugh in my face in person (I have a feeling they're GanjaRunner employees because why else would a stranger potentially looking for marijuana delivery think anything I just said is humorous), the whole reason I utilize these services is because I have several people in my family dealing with chronic pain. Karma is real so if you find conditions like that funny, hope someday it's you who has to deal with an asshole delivery service who doesn't get you your medication on time or the right order and have to deal with the untreated pain. read more

I have tried with Ganjarunner and been disappointed too many times. Product quality is 3/5 at best, customer service is bad they are not in communication with their employees and delivery is way more than 90 minutes. Ordered just after 8pm and it's 11:30pm now and my order is still "processing". I haven't even gotten an update other than my order being received.
