Super cool folks here, I mean free weed when it's your first time there!. NICE selection and very…read moreknowledgeable staff. 5 stars doesn't say enough about this place , I believe you locals here take these places for granted. lol just say'n.

Yikes. Talk about a big disappointment and incompetence. My wife n I came in about a month ago…read morelooking for any kind of CBD tincture that would help with her dad sleep through cancer pain. We were assisted by a female employee who had the most unenthused and apathetic demeanor when we explained our situation. We didn't pitch a sob story, but a little humanity in her response would have made us feel a little more welcomed. In any case, she made us feel like our inquiries were making her job tedious. All we were asking for is for any kind of CBD product that has no or minimal THC just so we could give my wife's dad something to help sleep through rough nights as a CANCER PATIENT. After this employee had to fish for some answers from her coworkers, she finally guided us to some edibles and a topical. Mind you we didn't do research because we had a lot going on at home, so this is why we pressed for tons of answers (also because she was doing quite horribly in providing us ANY information) it just felt like she was giving half-assed answers. How half-assed? Well..LMFAO.. We asked if you could get high from a high-dose THC topical and she answered yes...that one can get high off of applying a THC topical anywhere on your skin. We took her response with a grain of salt at the time because she didn't make eye contact when she answered this (one of the more obvious signs of a bullsh*tter). She was either completely oblivious to her lack of common decency, or she just didn't care about coming off as rude, spent, and even condescending, somehow all at the same time. We did end up leaving with a high dose CBD/low dose THC edible, but it really was a choice we made on our own because she was just idle, and seemingly lingering with us impatiently waiting for us to make a choice. "Hurry up already" was the vibes she was giving. It's a huge disappointment because this place is close to home. Btw we mentioned this with enthusiasm to the female clerk and to the employee of the year that helped us out and neither of them had any remark about it, lol. I mean, we're not expecting an applause but being met with silence peeves us tremendously. The place also looks well established and has the potential to be something greater than a headquarters for hood stoners. We get it, most people just wanna get ridiculously high and that's cool. But when you have such a great looking establishment and minimize your purpose to just, "let's go get stoned," you sell yourself short from being something greater and much more mature. There are dispensaries in Long Beach, for example, that are armed with staff who have awesome supportive attitudes and are also knowledgeable in the scientific details of the health benefits to tinctures and topicals (must be part of the training.) Those people can take a newbie, some non-stoner potential patron, and guide them to the right product with enthusiasm and courtesy. These same people can help your standard Cali bud smoker feel way more value as a patron in how they genuinely cater to their needs. Professional, mature, and efficient. Alas, a place like OG Nation will just treat you like a number and make you feel like you're being asked, "Do you wanna get just a little high, or RIDICULOUSLY high?" upon which they'll just guide you to the flavor of the month because it's a relatively newer product they gotta try to push sales for (yeah it's that obvious, guys) All while being met with attitudes akin to those found at those dingy, sketchy dispensaries hidden between two rundown buildings (but not listed on Weedmaps.) Not so professional, a bit immature, and inefficient. If a manager is reading this review, I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the woman that helped us out. But I can certainly point her out to you if you and that employee would like to own up to some accountability to start turning things around. Apart from that potential return, I won't be shopping there again.
