After I noticed that my power was declining on my system due to dust and brought it back in and they cleaned out the system with no problem. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE!!! I had a PS4 I that I was going to ship to my son. I checked to see if worked before I sent it and of course it was broken. I brought it to Gamexpress and they gave a me a free diagnosis and quote within minutes. Come to find my power supply was broken and wouldn't turn on. I dropped it off and it was ready for pickup within 2 hours. That's a pretty fast turn around time if you ask me. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed that they repaired my power button when I dropped it off it was damaged. Here's the best part; during the diagnosis I mentioned my son had his birthday coming up and they gave him a Mario keychain. That was very thoughtful of them. I brought my PS4 here because I had issues with my HDMI port. The man who fixed it only looked at it and knew exactly what was wrong. They told me it would take around 1-3 hours. It actually took around 40-50 minutes!!! Before coming here I did some research & other places were not only asking for a higher price but they were going to take longer. I 100% recommend coming here! It was a 35+ minute drive for me, but it was totally worth it. I called two other shops before calling gamexpress, and both were going to take between 3 to 5 days to replace an hdmi port on a gaming console. Gamexpress offered to do it on 3 hours at a cheaper price. Well less than 2 hours later they called me and said that my console was done, and both of the employees were really approachable. This business is the MOST unprofessional I've ever dealt with. Was given a price quote and paid in full $70 at the store to repair the hard dive and update the software for a PS4 slim. Picked up the PS4 and got home only to be told by the owner of the PS4, a 15 year old by the way, that someone from the store is contacting them for $79 more for the service that was already paid for. A male and female from the Gamexpress called and texted the owner of the PS4 continuously. Even to the point the employees wanted the money cash app. When the owner and employees of Gamexpress was told no to given more money, this was the text message sent to the phone number belonging to a 15 year old. It's unbelievable that a business would talk and try to ripe off a 15 year old in this way. Truly sad. No wonder this store gets away this type of behavior. My PS4 had a broken HDMI port. Gentleman knew exactly what I needed when I entered. He also knew that it was due to my son continually moving the unit to different TVs. I have an old PS3 that needs the motherboard reflowed. I just don't have the materials/tools, time, or patience to do it myself. I was "shopping around" trying to find a place near me that can do a reliable repair. I took my PS3 to a different shop YEARS ago to have it repair and it failed shortly after their 90-day repair warranty expired. (The place I took it to was Xtreme Video Game Repair, off 1960, which is now closed). Anyway. On Gamexpress's website, I couldn't find their hours. In addition, their address didn't match the one I was seeing on Yelp. However, there was a phone number and also a number to text. I decided to text the number to verify their hours and address. I was given a hard time trying to figure out what their hours were..."What is the bottom line?" Whatever that means. "Who are you?" I'm a customer that is kind enough to try to update your information on Yelp. (And still without answering my questions): "Do you have a console in need of repairs?" I asked who the person I was texting was- the owner? The manager? They said no. And, I guess the answer to your question is "Yes, I do have a console in need of repairs. I've used GameExpress twice in the last year for two unrelated issues on my son's XBox 360 Slim. The first time I forget what it was, but they repaired it within a day and we picked it up. The second time, it would not come on. They took it while we waited, hooked it up to their power supply and it worked fine. Suggested we go home and try a different plug for the power supply before we replace the power supply, but I bought one anyway and he gave me a good price. In either case, there was no charge for the diagnosis and a very small charge for the first repair. The second time he did not have to do anything, so of course no charge. I highly recommend them for any type of game console repair - fast good and inexpensive. What more can you ask for read more

I dropped my daughter's Nintendo DS lite In the garage, needless to say I broke it. I didn't know if it was worth the repair, I took my chances and dropped the DS off for an estimate. They called me back the same day with a $60 estimate. I called them to approve the repair and the same day it was fixed. It has a 90 day warranty. Game Express DESERVES to go out of business. They are a bunch of con artists as expected. I should've known when I saw that they were in a kiosk in the mall. They are just like the crooks trying to sell knockoff jewelry, sunglasses, and etc. I've never written a review of anything, but I felt as if this as the humane thing to do in hopes nobody ever has to go through what I did. I found them via Internet and they were close by so I gave it a shot. My ps3 blue ray disc drive bit the dust and I took it there for repair. Four days and $120 later I had it back and it worked just fine. A week later my ps3 came down with the infamous ylod, which I wouldn't dare blame Game Express because it most likely had nothing to do with the repair they did (maybe, maybe not but I had to pay of course). I took it there and they said they could fix it, no problem. A week later on the promise date I received no call. I had to not only call but blow up the phone to get someone on the lineu. They said it'll be done in an hour. I showed up a modest 2 hours later only to be told the technician is on the way there with the ps3, but it didn't make it. I was upset because I know when I've been jerked around. I was told he would be there in 10 minutes. An hour later he shows up and offers to TRADE the ps3 for the one that didn't make it for a working one. I didn't like that fact for many reasons, but mainly because mines was a 60gb backwards compatible ps3. He of course offered a different model that had less USB ports and was not backwards compatible, but slightly newer. The shop has a ton of ps3 that they swap around parts for. So, that new blue ray drive that was still under warranty on my 60gb ps3 I originally took in was gone. I got the traded ps3 home and it froze in less than 30 minutes and there were colored pixels etc (very bad). Took it back the next day and they kept it a week. They promised by Friday they would have it fixed or a replacement. Friday came, no call so I called and they said they didn't see a problem and it's working fine. It was there a week and they hadn't done a single repair. I showed up after work and they didn't have it fixed and did not have a replacement as promised. They traded me a non working PS3 and IMO they knew it had problems. He said just take this one for now (non working) and ill get you a replacement soon and he would call me. I am thinking of contacting an attorney. I've paid over $200 and weeks later I still have no working PS3. They won't call (in my experience). I could've sent it to Sony and just paid for a refurbished one. Worst customer experience EVER. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I called them to take my broken Ps3, and they answered the first time right away. I drop it off on tuesday and they said they would call me by the end of day to tell me what the problem was, but I never got a phone call. I call them close to 5 pm and they tell me the technician has not looked at it and they will call me back in 10 minutes. 30 minutes go by and no one calls me so I attempt to call them. I called them about 10 times in a row and no one answers. I grabbed my wifes phone and called and they answer on the first try. The girl tells me the technician left and they will not be able to look at it til the next day. I get no call on wednesday, so I call them on thursday and once again I call about 10 times before anyone ever picks up, and then I get the run around about the technician hasn"t got to fixing it yet and that he will call me in 30 minutes. Once again I get no call from anyone, so I call friday and when they finally answer the girl tells me the technician will be out til monday and the playstation is not fixable. I go to pick up my playstation on saturday and while I am there, there is 2 girls working, I am the only one inline and the phone rings. The older one looks at the caller ID and then looks at the other girl and says "Leave it they will call back". WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! read more
