Had a good selection of new pull comic books, wall books located behind the counter, and dollar boxes, but was more limited with other comic back issues. They also had a reasonable selection of Manga. Retro toy selection here is very strong with a large selection of in box toys and loose figures. Many of the higher end retro toys are located on shelves near the ceiling, with the G.I. Joe selection during our visit being good. A few arcade machines were in the back. Staff were cool to chat with and the shop was busy the entire time I was there. This is a perfect example of what a standard comic and toy shop should be. Tosche Station is absolutely worth a visit. If you have time, also check out the second location in Centreville, which has an even larger selection of Retro Toys, and more comic books.

The organization of the albums were very good as well as the grades listed on the each album. I slowly went through the selections and picked up about few. sedar did interact with us a few times and made the visit warm and welcoming. I actually bought a few more albums because I felt comfortable about the business style and layout. We bought 10 albums at about 200.00 and feel great about the quality. HUGE used book store and well worth the drive!…read more Their trade in process was really straightforward - when you walk in there's a trade in counter where they ask you to put your books into bins. I had one large bag that I sorted between two bins, one for books and the other for single issue comics and DVDs/non-books. About 45 minutes later I got a text that my trade-in was ready. I came back to the same counter after browsing the store and they offered me in-store credit or a lower amount in cash. They also returned the items they didn't want and I had the option to take them with me or leave them as a donation. I think it was a fair deal for what I donated, and I opted for the in-store credit. The store has a great mix of used books, dvds, comics, vinyl, and more that's pretty well organized. I will say there's a fair amount of duplicates of certain titles and it was interesting that some were priced higher than others - so check all the labels! In general the prices were reasonable with a few exceptions - I saw a really worn copy of a new hardback that they were selling for the list price ($35!) even though it had been out long enough that other books sellers were discounting it already. But then I also got a box set of dvds for $10 and a bunch of kids books for $0.50-2.00. It was easy to spend that in-store credit!

We started coming here when I brought my little guy in over a year ago when he started collecting pokemon cards, and they always slip a few extra cards in his bag. It was his birthday today and the owner saw him looking at magic cards and asked him if he was interested in learning. My little guy said he was, and so he reached behind the counter and got us a couple of starter decks and some extra cards because he said that he wants to encourage anyone who wants to learn how to play. It's just the kind of interaction that sets a comic book shop apart and it made a real impression on us. A quick search on the interwebs indicated the store had moved to a new location on the other side of Manassas. So off I went! The new location feels quite a bit large on the inside. They also have a snack bar with they sell food and drinks at certain times - and they have a large gaming room with plenty of tables and chairs! Looks like a good place for some D&D sessions! VDOT came, got efficiently right to work, found the problem and with pumps and rakes and determination pumped hundreds of gallons of water out of our street over the next 6-7 hours. Finally, they pushed the debris remaining through, breaking up the blockage and draining our "lake". While we may want lake front property for vacations, it is not fun when we have lessons, games, shopping and medical visits delayed by the careless disposal of leaves, sticks and grass. So please, call VDOT when you need help; be careful to properly dispose of yard waste somewhere besides your storm drains, and give a friendly wave to the next VDOT worker you see for all they do to keep Virginia moving.

Here's your $30 bill because my Sprinter van apparently looks like a truck or light commercial vehicle. It is neither. It's a two-axle passenger van that somehow got classified as anything except what it actually is. If you enjoy surprise tolls, inconsistent vehicle classes, and the thrill of outlandish bills for roads you didn't intend to enter, VDOT delivers. Some of the stores near where I live have begun attracting a rough crowd due to the fact that they have recently started dealing in used phones and tablets. However, the Liberia Ave one seems okay and usually is not too crowded. Even when the employees are busy they still take the time to greet me and ask if I need anything. You have to be smart about your trades/selling at any GameStop - they will buy a used game from you for $2 then sell it for $30. You are better off selling your used games on Ebay or Amazon unless GameStop is offering some sort of trade-in deal. I'm much more into buying games here than selling as I don't typically sell my games anyway. I have found good prices on rare games at this store. GameStop usually has the best preorder bonuses for new releases, so I usually look to them for most of my preordered games (especially now that Amazon has begun charging tax and you no longer save a few bucks with full MSRP games). You can return any pre-owned game within 7 days with your receipt, no questions asked. This has come in handy when I just plain didn't like a game; you don't even need a reason to return it within the week. Some of my friends use it as essentially a free rental service, but GameStop gains many loyal customers with this policy. GameStop doesn't always have the best deals on games, so always check Amazon before buying. Occasionally a used game at GameStop will be more expensive than buying it new on Amazon. Sometimes this also works in reverse - again, you just have to be a smart shopper and see what you're getting for the price. I'm always in GameStop with my iPhone comparing prices. I also highly recommend the PowerUp Card - it's $14.99 a year and comes with a subscription to Game Informer, plus 10% off used games. You earn points on your purchases which can be redeemed for coupons or merchandise - I always go for the $5 off and $10 off coupons. You really can't go wrong! The employees are usually knowledgeable and excited about the games they are selling. This location has particularly friendly employees. On 12/10/22 we did a little shopping and we eventually…read moreended up at Gamestop. For a long time I haven't played an Assassin Creed Game, the last one I finished was Assassin's Creed Syndicate. PLaying as a female assassin gives the game a who knew perspective with the female attitude. So it was my suprise and delight when I came across Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I happened to get a hold of the Blind King DLC (Downloadable Content) added to the game. It seems there is also two other added games I have yet to download too. Finding this at the store was something I could not pass up. Using my Gamestop card and added discounts made this game a steal. The associate who helped me buy the game had a great personality. This game is based on Assassin Creed during the time of The Greek Gods other historical aspects of the time era. I don't know what to expect, but maybe I will come across some mythical monsters like Scylla and Charybdis as well as others. Exciting things, but I love getting great games that I can play again and again. This game might take a long time to finish, but there is always Assassin's Creed Valhalla afterwards. I am glad I stopped here today. Who knows what we might find next time we stop by.
