It is awesome to see stores like this taking so much pride in preserving the physical media of the past. There is so much value in that and I for one truly appreciate this store. Also taking pride in this work are the staff. The pricing of a lot of the retro games is fair considering many of the games are no longer available and hard to come by. Retro games, especially ones that were popular back in the day, only grow in value as our nostalgic minds yearn to play our favorite childhood games again. Though I didn't end up buying any games (only because I was just in town for just a day or two), I did manage to play one of their Japanese coin machines. I am a HUGE Psyduck enthusiast and I saw one of their machines had a DANCING Psyduck toy in it! So, I got the appropriate coins from the cashier (they don't use regular coins). I only had enough for two items, so I did my first try and got a Wabbufet. Which is nice but it's NOT psyduck. I was nervous I wouldn't get my dancing duck but with hope in my heart and psyduck on my mind, I put my last coin in and turned the dial. After I heard the plastic ball capsule reach the dispense area I nervously reached for it. "Please be a dancing yellow duck" I said to myself... and I slowly opened the capsule and... A DANCING PSYDUCK WAS IN IT! I was so thrilled that I screamed lol it was so much fun and I just feel like this silly story does a great job at capturing the vibe of this location. Getting excited while connecting with our inner child. My inner child was healed a little more by the time I left Thanks to R U Game for the incredible service and the incredible experience. The dancing psyduck now sits safely on a shelf in my room where it routinely dances to Britney and Taylor songs lol

I bought a used PS5 game as R.U. Game Fowler last Saturday. I was told if FOR ANY REASON, the game…read moredid not work, they would extend a store credit or exchange for a game of equal value. Well, it had a problem 3 times mid-way through the install process, and I was never able to get the game installed on my ps5. I updated my ps5, and still it would not work tried to take the game back today, on day 7, and was told I could not return the game because they were able to install it on the store's ps5. So now Im out $20 and a game I cant play. So much for customer service. If you are out here in the market for a pre-played game, go to Gamestop, as R.U. Game does not honor their word. Basically they robbed me for $20. I will never buy from them ever again, and will let anyone know I can how they treat customers. Untrustworthy, dishonest and terrible customer service is all they offer.

New Review : Well…read moreSebring Location has shut down and I have since moved to avon park where the main location is. This is Still a great little video store. They also provide mins for most Prepaid phones and is the one and only local location that sells 10$ boost reup cards!! The also sell Video games and systems, and prepaid internet (for good price), and from what I can tell (havent checked it out yet) public use of gamesystems in store. The Owner and His employees are great friendly and welcoming and Maryjane is still great eyecandy and wonderfull at profiding fabulous customer service Origional review vvvvvvvvvvv NOTE I am actually reviewing the Sebring Location Located next to sweetbay. This place is small but the service is well above Par and the selection is actually top notch. They dont have it they will get it. We Love the folks that work there. Loydd (aka Cowboy) is funny and once you get to know Him is half the fun of going, and Maryjane is sweet and nice eye candy ;) We have spent many an hour in this little video store. Finally…read morecleared a date they had open and they sent me an invoice that didn't reflect the length OR time I had requested. Obviously the system they're so stuck on isn't as great as actual communication... so I contacted Mario again (who was never what I'd call either polite or rude, just kind of bored and indifferent) and they finally sent an invoice with the time window and length of party I had requested. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Obviously a class act. You want this guy around your kids? Not me. Reduced review to one star.
