There is something intrinsically wrong with Gamestop. I thought that all the influx of cash from the 2021 stock boom would help the business but but instead it is the same backwards thinking business with a run down store front. The staff tends to be friendly but have given misinformation before. For example I was told I would get thousands of points for renewing my GameStop Pro membership but that was false because apparently it is no longer policy. Also the $5 is contingent upon renewing within the first 5 days of the month. The app is terrible and using your laptop is not that much better. The online rewards using your points cannot be used for online sales but can on the brick and mortar store. Customer service on the phone is a hit or miss, sometimes you get good service but sometimes you want to throw yourself from the Shell building downtown. The game selection online says new and then they ship you used/open box games. One time the disc wasn't even inside. I really dislike this place and I miss Toys R Us. Hope GS gets crushed by Amazon or some other company. It is hopeless to think it will reinvent itself, it is beyond saving. read more

This is one is just like all the others. They have a good amount of people come through so they're a little busier at times. Great game selection and they usually do not run or that quickly. The employees are pretty knowledgeable about release dates and such. read more

If the store hours say you are open until 7 on maps and yelp on sundays, you should be open until 7 not 6.

To update this review, they guy finally comes out and asks me about my order. When I show him on my phone he says they "don't have any extra copies of Animal Crossing. They are being held for other customers. Sorry about that." So, I ordered it from Best Buy and had it in my hand in less that 20 minutes. One star only because I can't give zero stars. Awful service. Rude employees. Damaged pop vinyl merchandise. The manager needs to hire better employees. If they don't want to work, and don't know how to talk to customers, fire them! Find people who want to work. I'll never go there again. I was ignored, lied to, and laughed at, all in the span of 3 minutes. Your money will be better spent elsewhere. read more
