I purchased a poker table with 6 chairs more than 8 months ago...received 4 and was told 2 were on back order and that I would receive them in October. Never heard from the BF again. I followed up and was told November...never heard from them again...I followed up in November and was told they didn't make the chairs any longer but that I could get 2 other chairs that were close in design...not ideal but agreed. No follow up...I called right after the holidays and was told they were ordered...nothing. I have now asked on four different occasions for a full refund for the two chairs $2,000 + . We are being stonewalled with "our CFO needs to approve..." and other excuses. I now have to file a suit Monday to get a court to force them to keep their commitment. I originally tried to purchase a pool table from a Facebook ad. I contacted Mark at the Billiard Factory to set up moving it and re-felting it. When the movers arrived to disassemble the table they found out it had PLYWOOD instead of slate on the used table I had purchased. The sellers refused to give me my $$ back and I am out $1k on my attempt to purchase a used table and save some $$. I am filing fraud charges because of this. I called Mark back and he mentioned some table options and sales they had going for new tables. I purchased a brand new table from him and he is delivering it before Christmas so my kids can get the present they were supposed to have. Had I known (or had contacted Billiard Factory first) I wouldn't have even TRIED to go the used route. Big thanks to him and the Billiard Factory for helping me fix this nightmare!! MORALE OF STORY: DO NOT BUY USED!!! Even if I had gotten a real table from the fraud sellers by the time I paid to have it moved and refelted it would have cost almost the EXACT SAME as the new one I just purchased from Mark and the Billiard Factory. Hopefully this review saves someone else considering trying to "save some $$" by purchasing used. read more

I purchased a table and accessories from the BF about 5 years ago when purchasing a 2-story house with a large gameroom. The prices were high, but the sales person was curteous and it was nice to get everything I wanted from 1 store. The table had a 3-piece slate deck, but the rails, sides, legs, etc... were made from lower end materials so the cost was only about $1,500 for the table. I also spent about $500+ in accessories. Fast forward to today, I am selling the house and cannot take the pull table with me :( So I called BF to remove the table and to my surprise they have a buy back program. Great! I talked with the sales rep. Mark who said the table was purchased for $1,500 so the most they could give is in the $200 range. I thought great. I can get the table moved out of the house and make a little money in the process. They came and got the table this weekend...very fast, curteous installers/removal employees who were great. They asked if I had an agreement with the sales guy for the price, to which I responded "no" and that I thought the table and accessories would be delivered to BF, the value assessed and I would find out the buy back dollar amount at that time. I called BF today to find out how much my stuff was worth.....drumroll....$50 That's right fifty dollars. So I asked the sales guy what happened to the $200 for the table we discussed last week and he somehow does not recall that number being discussed. In fact, he said he "had it written down"...$50 I am not writing this review to try and dispute his memory versus mine (although I am a professional engineer and pretty good with numbers), but I did want to let all of you future pool table and accessory owners out there the following: If you purchase a table and accessories from BF, enjoy the "stuff" for as long as you own it because when you try to sell it back to BF you may only get about 2.5% of the original purchase price. Also, get the buy back agreement in writing just in case your sales rep. does not have the same recollection as you regarding the buy back amount. Happy shopping shooters! UPDATE 8/1/2013: Well it has been over a month since The Billiard Factory took away the pool table. I have not received the $50 yet. I hope they send it soon as I am moving next week. For those keeping up with the math, if Billiard Factory does not give me $50...then I would receive 0% of the original purchase price for selling the table back to BF. If I could give a 0 star I would , ordered my game room spending thousands come to find out that they tried to make an additional $2000 difference from their other store prices in the woodlands , sadly to say they corrected it but when I received my game room all was damaged or used products. Didn't include what I ordered I will never do business with them again. Lost a good customer for life. Jesse & anyone with that company is so hard to get ahold of when something's needed. Since this business professionally moves pool tables, my mother contacted them about moving a large, tournament size air hockey table for us. I was given a contact name (Mark Smith), and tried to reach him. He wasn't there, so I spoke to a gentleman with a foreign (possibly English or Australian) accent. I suppose he could have been more rude and unprofessional, although I'm not quite sure how. After being told "we don't do that" and sitting there in silence (1 day after Mr. Smith said they would accommodate us), I asked why. "We only move pool tables" in a sharp, condescending tone. "Well sir, this is the size of a pool table and almost as heavy." "We only move pool tables that have to be taken apart." "Well, this one has legs that come off, which will need to happen...exactly like a pool table." Silence "We don't do that" "Ok, Mr. Smith said you could do this, but I guess I'll find someone who wants the business." At that point, I was hung up on. I'm not sure what was more strange...his apparent frustration that I had the audacity to want to use his business, or the fact that he could have charged as much for this (lighter and slightly smaller) air hockey table as he would have charged to move a heavier, more bulky pool table. Business acumen = 0. The funny thing is, I actually want to buy a pool table once the air hockey table has been moved. After I got carpet replaced in the game room - I had them come out and put my pool table back together. They assembled and re-felted with premium felt. Everything looked good at the time. About 3 weeks later and without a single game being played on the table, I noticed a few bubbles in the felt around the pockets. When I first called them to come out & re-stretch the felt - they were acting like it was not covered and like they didn't want to do it. They asked me where the table was located, when was the re-felt done, and then I had to take pictures & send it to them. A week after texting the pictures - I had to call again to see what was up with the claim. At that time, they said someone would be coming out to take care of the situation. In front of a corner pocket was a group of unraveled felt strings (from cutting the felt). And there were a couple of air blisters corrected. The guys that did the work were Awesome - Both on the original and the re-do. I would have giving them 5 stars except for the way they acted when I was trying to get them to re-stretch the felt. read more

Anthony @ the Billiard Factory out of Houston Texas, completely and utterly screwed up our order from day one. At no time did we feel like we the customer were being taken care of. Given how very bad the economy is this company didn't seem to give a shit to lose table purchase or any future purchases from us. We were strung along since the beginning of December only to find out that we would not receive our order until January. A full month to fill an order is ridiculous especially given that we were told for certain that our pool table was in stock and would not be an issue before we even placed an order. Our Christmas was ruined thanks to this company. If they are smart they will fire ppl like Anthony and hire someone who wants a job. read more
