They didn't even have any. Took a quick glance and 40% of the store is cheap chemical leaking toys (no silicon), 10% porn mags, 20% DVDs, and 30% smoking pipes. As for atmosphere 90% bad lighting and 10% old building. I HATE Adult Megaplex (check my other review) with a passion but as sexist and sexually harassing as the staff is they carry the basics.

It's a membership video rental shop that provides access to movies that aren't available on streaming services. You can rent VHS, DVD, & Blu-Ray. This iconic space in North Loop is a meeting ground of sorts for like-minded people to gather. It's a welcoming and kind vibe, exactly what Austin is known for.

The staff is really friendly, and the layout is thoughtfully designed--some movies are organized by director, and the recommendation racks are right in front of the checkout counter. They even have a "teenage dream come true" kind of theater in the back of the shop. I haven't watched a movie there yet, but I'd love to if they play something I'm interested in. They offer different membership tiers. My husband has the student membership, which costs $5 per month and allows him to rent one movie at a time for seven days. To return it, you simply place the case in the return basket at the checkout counter. I do wish their website index were more accurate, since some movies marked "in stock" online aren't always available in-store.

As with the other CD Exchanges, you're almost guaranteed to find whatever it is you're looking for and so much more. As a fan of martial arts movies, I really enjoy this location as their selection has consistently been better and varied than some of the other locations'. The trade off is that their game selection isn't as impressive. That's not to say that it isn't good, there is in fact a lot to look through, I've just found more hidden gems at other locations. Though I typically skip over the front part if the store during my visits, it is worth mentioning that there is a TON of music to go through and an impressive amount of memorabilia such as action figures and Funko Pop!s, posters, bags and shirts, and a lot more. Everything is fairly priced and there have been instances where I've paid less than what I would have elsewhere or online. If you're a movie buff looking for a quiet place to pass the time, you absolutely have to visit the Movie Exchange.

Game Republik was the only place open on a weekday so I brought it here. Local spot that also repairs consoles and hosts gaming tournaments, the owner and PC expert , Chris, wasn't there when I dropped it off which is fine. He got back to me by Monday and kept me updated as to when he started, issues he potentially found, and when he resolved them with pictures for status updates. He worked a lot on my system and even cleaned up my poker cable management all for a fair price. He really know his stuff well and I would definitely bring back items here for any issues.
