Gamestop overall isn't bad. The staff are friendly and helpful. That the good part. Now the bad part. The PSA submission that offer from GameStop. Myself to you, don't do it!! If you must, only send out the cards that you don't care if it get lost or low value. This is my experience with Gamestop PSA submission. I submitted 15 total time in the 1 years period, out of those 15 submission I already deal with 3 lost submitted order. Jan 18 2025 ( 3 lost submit ) Jan 18 2025 ( 1 lost submit ) and March 2025 ( 2 lost submit ). That total of 6 lost cards that was submit to PSA!! This lost submission was magically disappeared from Fedex to PSA. The Gamestop customer care doesn't give the two shit about your missing cards. They will reimburse you with the lowest value of your cards or give you credit to use toward Gamestop. What a joke of a company. I let it go for 2 missing order without complaining. After, this third missing order and I also have one more submitted order on April 2025. Hope that doesn't do the Houdini on me. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH GET YOUR DAMN ACT TOGETHER!! Very aggressive with the extra services.just wanted to get 1 item and had to endure a litany of offerings.when I refused the sales person continued to press.i know they get rode hard about this from management.so this is more a complaint about there business model than the sales person. read more

The guy the talks a lot idk his name but he thinks he knows everything and put hella credit on my card . I asked him nicely 5 times that I was going to use two cards for a few items and he kept saying it will separate them over and over again and after inserting the first card he said okay have a nice day. When clearly that was not two separate cards , he charged everything to my credit and now I'm in debt. As long as this loud mouth is working I recommend not to go at all or he will mess up your transactions. read more

The customer service and accountability of this store is greatly lacking. Horrible experience. Atrocious staff experience. The store manager double charged me for a purchase and even after I showed him that the transaction went through he said I would need to pay again because he believed it error-ed out. He then called me back and promised that I would not be doubled charged. Low and behold I got double charged. After calling the store back and speaking with Shannon, who was also little help, told me there is nothing we can do about this in the store and you will need to call customer service. After asking for the number she said she would need to place me on hold in order to find the number, she then left me on hold for 6 minutes. I hung up and then called back just to have her promptly answer the phone and tell me that she was busy with other customers in the store and that is why she left me on hold. After finally getting the Customer service number, I once again had to wait on hold for 22 minutes and then wait for 20 mins just for the customer service department to locate the transaction even after giving them the store code 00746 Transaction # 55 and Hour and Minute of purchase. She then informed me that it would take 10 days for the refund to go through. So because of the store managers mistake I know have to wait for a refund to be issued on a transaction that was confirmed by the CSR to be a duplicate. I asked to speak with her Manager Gema (Employee # C103193) out of the Mexico call center, based on this experience so far its no surprise that GameStop outsources its customer service teams. Gema barely apologized, it was one of those "Sorry that you have had a bad experience" and that was it, it basically sounded like she was reading off of a script. She told me there was nothing that she could do and they do not provide anything except and apology when the make a mistake. Not a company looking to maintain customers on my opinion. I have three young boys who enjoy playing video games and GameStop has lost a customer for an entire generation of a family that has three young boys. THIS WHOLE PROCESS TOOK AN HOUR AND A HALF JUST TO GET AN APOLOGY FOR A DOUBLE CHARGE ON A CARD FROM A STORE MANAGER WHO WAS AWARE THE FIRST TRANSACTION PROCESSED BUT WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE WITH MY PURCHASE UNTIL HIS SYSTEM REBOOTED AND THEN TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME AGAIN. This store is a closet, it is the smallest GameStop I've ever been inside in my life. If more than two people are in line ya'll turn into a herd of cattle stomping your hooves on the filthy floor there. The workers are slow and if they feel like it will chat with a customer for 20 minutes and BS with them and make you wait for their personal laughing fit and chat. The store legit smells like a moldy sweaty high school locker room. I am unsure of where the odor is coming from, someone else in the comment section said the store smells and I second that. But, again, my biggest problem is how small this damn store is. I think it is about 5-6 feet wide by 7 or 8 feet long. It is the smallest store at Coddingtown. Probably because it doesn't matter. I mean this store does not register as a place that matters. The restaurant a store away is 10,000 times larger than the store. Everyone go to this store and take pictures and send them to corporate and the mall management. And report the floor filth, store filth and smell to the health department. read more

i was a customer here since this place was FUNCOLAND, i used to buy gameboys and nes here, I stopped coming here because the old manager michael seems to dislike me for some reason but i came back again after shelly took over as a manager, funny though since they're husband and wife... she's sick right now but everyone here treat me right, always let me know when there is any kind of deal that i'm not aware of, also jeremy is probably the nicest kid i've ever met in gamestop history! good job guys. this place really turned around good read more

i went in to return a ps4 that i bought and had less than 24 hours. i brought it to the game stop at the coddington mall. i was told that they don't rake returns on this item at all. both persons working at the store were rude and totally not willing to do anything to take it back. this store sucks! it's crowded and very dirty with rude people there that lie. i was told by the man when i bought it that if i don't like it, i could return it in 7 days. talk about a huge lie!!!! i'll never go to game stop again and will tell my friends to stay away from there. this play is a rip off!! the store manager was very snide and treated me like i did not know anything about the ps4. if you are going to buy a game, buy it from costco, at least they will take it back. read more
