This company is going under fast . Two store closures in my area in less than a month

I came in to trade a bunch of my old PS4 games and they took all of the games that they could take off of my hands- I was very pleased with the amount of money in credits that they gave me in return, and I was able to get a couple of great games! They were also very efficient here and they were friendly. I definitely will be back. read more

I had an issue with an online order, and this time Will and Andrew helped me get this straightened out. Out of all the Gamestop locations I've been to, this one is the best. They were patient, they listened, and took care of my issue. I've had good experiences each time. Great people giving the company a good name. Female sales associate is amazing! We are super new to gaming and needed help spending OUR MONEY but the manager was as unfriendly as it gets! (booo! No fun!) But wait.... arent we at a game store??? Arent games made for fun???? Hmmmmm (finger on chin).. My bottom line is if you are going to choose retail and customer service for your job, then dammit you've got to be friendly, helpful AND HAVE FUN!! This place is awesome! A bit overpriced but they are so knowledgable and helpful. It seems they know everything about every game! But, if you are wanting to sell your games, they do not give you very much for them so I would suggest trying to sell them online first. They recently remodeled and the place looks great. I always enjoy going in there and looking through the cheap bins for corny games to place with my fiance. I am a video game NERD and I would recommend this game stop. read more

I had previously left a great review but was due to a former manager who was great. There is an employee, possibly the manager there now named Caitlyn. Every time I go there she tries to sell me everything in the store. Would you like the $2 insurance on your game? Any other games your interested in? Would you like to reserve any upcoming games? It was my brother's birthday and I wanted to get him an NES Classic. I held one online and went into the store to pick it up. I asked the guy working there (seemed to be a manager-type) how many games supported multiplayer. He didn't know. I asked if I could read the box and he wouldn't let me without paying for it first. Seriously? I can't even look at the box of the product I am going to purchase? I felt treated like a potential thief. read more

Before I start this review I want to say I work in customer service and manage a retail business. So I tried to give them a break, but when they didn't give me one, I said alright I'm going to share my experience. I go in, and very simply ask, hey I just want to play single player sports games. So I buy a refurbished Xbox 1 and nba 2k. I pay for all the insurance. Which I know helps the guy. But as he helped me. He'd grab one piece, the controller, the game, the console and in between each item he'd help a customer who just walked in, either find something or check them out. Like what?? Can you please get me out of here. Finish helping the guy who's been here and just dropped 300$. Then, when it's time to go, he decides to update the console for me(something I could have done at home) doesn't ask me first, it then takes an hour. I was there from 2:55-4:02pm. Mind you I stood there on my feet the whole time just waiting. I would have left if I hadn't paid in the first 5 minutes. I was then a half hour late to a dinner I had at 5. read more

I go there a few times a month and spend a considerable amount of money there . The staff is usually awesome too... however...Their used controllers are all trash. I buy/return at least 2 used controllers every month because of how trashy they are. Then the manager has the audacity to put the blame on me saying I'm hard on my controllers and suggests I spend over a hundred dollars on a better controller? No! Do a better job of not stocking garbage in your store!!! It isn't my fault when I receive broken equipment. And I don't wear out controllers in two days. If there was any other place to get used controllers I would go there. This place had garbage. read more

I love this gamestop. They are super knowledgeable and friendly. It's always a fun experience when you get the chance to go in. Yes the price of video games is high, but that's just a reality that people need to get over. What matters is that the experience is always a good one. read more

Meh. This GameStop never has what I want. Usually drive across the freeway to Walmart and they have what I want, and 9 times out of 10 it is cheaper. The employees here are somewhat pushy and try to upsell you like crazy. I just like GameStop because it is super easy and cheap to pre order a game. That's about it.
