Anyways I go in and find what I'm looking for, the dude was like upset he had to work and grab something for me when he was scrolling on his phone. Overall a very not pleasant, miserable gentleman. Not a good experience for my first time at this location, I'll definitely be sticking to the location east of this one. They said House of Used actually tests their products before taking them in for trade. I called them, and sure enough, they had a turntable set. I went down there and was able to locate the set. Not wanting to go through the same situation again as I did with Bookman's, I asked if I could test it in the store before buying. The gentleman helping me was friendly and willing to open the set so I could test it. The turntable worked, but had a decal glued to it by the previous owner. I asked if I could try a better looking turntable and he was nice enough to let me swap the nicer one into the bundle. Overall, I'm very impressed with House of Used. Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. If I could provide one criticism, it's the organization of the store. Even the game section was a bit tough to shop depending on what you are looking for. Otherwise, this is a great store for retro gaming.

The place is totally air conditioned, no windows, has flat screen tv's and consoles, comfy chairs, what more could you ask for? However, since I have a life (is a life without gaming, really a life I want to live??), I can only make it in here sporadically. Don't even get me started on the customer service, which is hands down, the friendliest customer service I have ever experienced this side of the desert, including Las Vegas. Here we were, chatting up the shop clerk, when lo and behold I find me a copy of Vampire Hunter D. Now I know the game is kinda crappy, but I had to have it for my collection of rarities. Cheaper prices than on Amazon too. So far, this is the only store I know of that stays open so late for all of your gamez (yes, I said GAMEZ) needs.
