My friend and I hovered outside uncertainly and the drunk guys smoking outside the bar across the street started heckling us to go in, though they were funny about it not offensive. I believe one of them yelled "treat yourself, you deserve it!" You know what sir? I do! So we went inside and the store is small but they packed plenty of DVDs and toys in there. The DVDs were really cheap, starting at around $5. I've been in other stores where they were $40 or $50 bucks. Like seriously? Do you not know pornhub.com exists??? So I've heard, that is. I would never visit such a site. I didn't get any movies but I got an adult game that was only $5.49. Don't be afraid to keep things fresh ladies! The festive holiday window displays are welcoming, even if one is St. Paddy's but the other side still has Santa.

I go for the pipes. No, they aren't the big fancy pieces you'll see at the other shops, but how often do you buy those rip off pieces anyway. Here you can buy a glass pipe for $2, yes, two dollars. It's brittle and thin but it's $2. Mine has lasted a month and I can throw it whenever I want. Also got a bubbler for $18 and it's thick glass and I love it. Got my gf a bat and she loves it. Also got a $4 grinder, it's cheap and plastic but in all honesty I prefer cheap stuff I can throw out if need be. All together paid around $35 which is the amount they wanted for just my gf's bat at the other places. I will stop here every time I'm on market street.

HUGE used book store and well worth the drive!…read more Their trade in process was really straightforward - when you walk in there's a trade in counter where they ask you to put your books into bins. I had one large bag that I sorted between two bins, one for books and the other for single issue comics and DVDs/non-books. About 45 minutes later I got a text that my trade-in was ready. I came back to the same counter after browsing the store and they offered me in-store credit or a lower amount in cash. They also returned the items they didn't want and I had the option to take them with me or leave them as a donation. I think it was a fair deal for what I donated, and I opted for the in-store credit. The store has a great mix of used books, dvds, comics, vinyl, and more that's pretty well organized. I will say there's a fair amount of duplicates of certain titles and it was interesting that some were priced higher than others - so check all the labels! In general the prices were reasonable with a few exceptions - I saw a really worn copy of a new hardback that they were selling for the list price ($35!) even though it had been out long enough that other books sellers were discounting it already. But then I also got a box set of dvds for $10 and a bunch of kids books for $0.50-2.00. It was easy to spend that in-store credit!

I have been bored with the games I currently have for my Switch and wanted to see what they had to offer. The store was set up how it usually is for a GameStop. I made my way to the back and started to browse the games and looked at some titles before selecting two. They were previously owned games, but that is fine by me. Cheaper price and all. Going to the counter with my selection and I handed them over to the employee and a few short moments later I was being rung up. I wasn't aware of this, but I had a rewards coupon and decided to use it. Making my grand total a bit less than it was.

A wonderful bookstore with great staff and plenty of room to browse…read more I stopped at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Manassas and had a wonderful experience. The store was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available when we visited. This is the kind of bookstore that reminds me why I still enjoy going to a physical bookstore rather than simply looking for books online. The front of the store has large windows that let in plenty of light, the ceilings are high, and there is a lot of room between the main aisles, which gives the store a very open and comfortable feeling. The store was also very clean and well organized. There was a very nice selection of books separated into the different categories, making it fairly easy to browse if you aren't looking for a specific title. What really made the visit enjoyable, however, was the staff. I was looking for several books and they were very helpful in quickly directing me to the sections I wanted to peruse. They were knowledgeable about the books and also offered some suggestions based on what I was looking for, which is one of the things I really appreciate about a good bookstore. My one disappointment was the relatively small Science Fiction section compared with the much larger Fantasy section. Since I read quite a bit of Science Fiction, I would have liked to see a larger selection devoted to it. That was a fairly minor drawback, though, compared with everything else I liked about the store. Overall, this is a wonderful Barnes & Noble with a great selection of books, knowledgeable and helpful staff, a clean and spacious interior, plenty of parking, and a convenient location. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing here and would definitely recommend it to my fellow book lovers. Enjoy!

We went to the store at around 5:30 on Sunday after seeing on the GameStop website that they closed at 7. I didn't want to drag in a bunch of stuff for a long trade-in transaction (2 consoles, games, etc) right before they closed. I don't like being that kind of customer. Turns out they actually close at 6. I apologized to the two guys behind the counter about coming in right before they closed with a bunch of trade-in stuff but they were really cool about it and processed my stuff quickly and efficiently. Last time I went through a big trade-in like this at another EB years ago it took over an hour but these guys were done in about 15 minutes. They also wiped my consoles while I watched which was nice.

I'm a PowerUp Rewards member and have pre-ordered several titles and purchased many, many used and games. Some of the stores near where I live have begun attracting a rough crowd due to the fact that they have recently started dealing in used phones and tablets. However, the Liberia Ave one seems okay and usually is not too crowded. Even when the employees are busy they still take the time to greet me and ask if I need anything. You have to be smart about your trades/selling at any GameStop - they will buy a used game from you for $2 then sell it for $30. You are better off selling your used games on Ebay or Amazon unless GameStop is offering some sort of trade-in deal. I'm much more into buying games here than selling as I don't typically sell my games anyway. I have found good prices on rare games at this store. GameStop usually has the best preorder bonuses for new releases, so I usually look to them for most of my preordered games (especially now that Amazon has begun charging tax and you no longer save a few bucks with full MSRP games). You can return any pre-owned game within 7 days with your receipt, no questions asked. This has come in handy when I just plain didn't like a game; you don't even need a reason to return it within the week. Some of my friends use it as essentially a free rental service, but GameStop gains many loyal customers with this policy. GameStop doesn't always have the best deals on games, so always check Amazon before buying. Occasionally a used game at GameStop will be more expensive than buying it new on Amazon. Sometimes this also works in reverse - again, you just have to be a smart shopper and see what you're getting for the price. I'm always in GameStop with my iPhone comparing prices. I also highly recommend the PowerUp Card - it's $14.99 a year and comes with a subscription to Game Informer, plus 10% off used games. You earn points on your purchases which can be redeemed for coupons or merchandise - I always go for the $5 off and $10 off coupons. You really can't go wrong! The employees are usually knowledgeable and excited about the games they are selling. This location has particularly friendly employees. The store has free WiFi events for handheld console games (like Pokemon downloads). I will likely be returning to GameStop for years to come.
