I'm a PowerUp Rewards member and have pre-ordered several titles and purchased many, many used and games. Some of the stores near where I live have begun attracting a rough crowd due to the fact that they have recently started dealing in used phones and tablets. However, the Liberia Ave one seems okay and usually is not too crowded. Even when the employees are busy they still take the time to greet me and ask if I need anything. You have to be smart about your trades/selling at any GameStop - they will buy a used game from you for $2 then sell it for $30. You are better off selling your used games on Ebay or Amazon unless GameStop is offering some sort of trade-in deal. I'm much more into buying games here than selling as I don't typically sell my games anyway. I have found good prices on rare games at this store. GameStop usually has the best preorder bonuses for new releases, so I usually look to them for most of my preordered games (especially now that Amazon has begun charging tax and you no longer save a few bucks with full MSRP games). You can return any pre-owned game within 7 days with your receipt, no questions asked. This has come in handy when I just plain didn't like a game; you don't even need a reason to return it within the week. Some of my friends use it as essentially a free rental service, but GameStop gains many loyal customers with this policy. GameStop doesn't always have the best deals on games, so always check Amazon before buying. Occasionally a used game at GameStop will be more expensive than buying it new on Amazon. Sometimes this also works in reverse - again, you just have to be a smart shopper and see what you're getting for the price. I'm always in GameStop with my iPhone comparing prices. I also highly recommend the PowerUp Card - it's $14.99 a year and comes with a subscription to Game Informer, plus 10% off used games. You earn points on your purchases which can be redeemed for coupons or merchandise - I always go for the $5 off and $10 off coupons. You really can't go wrong! The employees are usually knowledgeable and excited about the games they are selling. This location has particularly friendly employees. The store has free WiFi events for handheld console games (like Pokemon downloads). I will likely be returning to GameStop for years to come.

From the sounds of the conversation, the person on the other end of the phone was trying to scam the associate. It didn't seem to work. A pleasant conversation came out of this scam call with the associate. We ended up getting some information on a game my wife was looking for. The associate knew his products. This store is limited to how many people can go inside the store, because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Still, if you come here for a game, a gaming system or information, you can be sure the associates here can help you.

I made my way to the back and started to browse the games and looked at some titles before selecting two. They were previously owned games, but that is fine by me. Cheaper price and all. Going to the counter with my selection and I handed them over to the employee and a few short moments later I was being rung up. I wasn't aware of this, but I had a rewards coupon and decided to use it. Making my grand total a bit less than it was.

Turns out they actually close at 6. I apologized to the two guys behind the counter about coming in right before they closed with a bunch of trade-in stuff but they were really cool about it and processed my stuff quickly and efficiently. Last time I went through a big trade-in like this at another EB years ago it took over an hour but these guys were done in about 15 minutes. They also wiped my consoles while I watched which was nice.

Sean Gotkin was very helpful, he told me they had an agreement with a local Luthier who could look at it and provide an estimate. The esitmate came back at $120 so I asked them to go ahead and do the work. It took a little longer to repair than they had committed to. When I went to pick it up, he charged me $100. That's what I call service! Why go to a franchise store when you have a local shop who does quality work with a local craftsman? Support your local business!

A wonderful bookstore with great staff and plenty of room to browse…read more I stopped at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Manassas and had a wonderful experience. The store was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available when we visited. This is the kind of bookstore that reminds me why I still enjoy going to a physical bookstore rather than simply looking for books online. The front of the store has large windows that let in plenty of light, the ceilings are high, and there is a lot of room between the main aisles, which gives the store a very open and comfortable feeling. The store was also very clean and well organized. There was a very nice selection of books separated into the different categories, making it fairly easy to browse if you aren't looking for a specific title. What really made the visit enjoyable, however, was the staff. I was looking for several books and they were very helpful in quickly directing me to the sections I wanted to peruse. They were knowledgeable about the books and also offered some suggestions based on what I was looking for, which is one of the things I really appreciate about a good bookstore. My one disappointment was the relatively small Science Fiction section compared with the much larger Fantasy section. Since I read quite a bit of Science Fiction, I would have liked to see a larger selection devoted to it. That was a fairly minor drawback, though, compared with everything else I liked about the store. Overall, this is a wonderful Barnes & Noble with a great selection of books, knowledgeable and helpful staff, a clean and spacious interior, plenty of parking, and a convenient location. The external games systems were unplayable because the overhang was crooked and therefore even our 7 years old children struggled to have room underneath to play the WII games.
