This used to be my go to Gamestop store for years, back when it was being run by some really good managers. They went above and beyond for their customers, and would even reach out to me when a trade in or game they thought I'd be interested in would come into the store. Fast forward to about 8 months ago when their latest manager started working at the store, and the customer base has rapidly evaporated. The store used to be PACKED at pretty much all times, now it's empty. Why you might ask? Horrible customer service. The employees don't care, ignore customers, and will ignore the phone too. Don't try to get any help there, as they simply don't care. Not only that, but the last time I entered the store, (and it will be my LAST time) I went in to pick up a game I purchased. After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes, I was told the game I purchased was there. I told the employee I'd come in and pick it up. I was feeling pretty good. I enter the store, don't get a greeting at all, even though I'm the only customer in the store. I get up to the front, and the employee pulls out the game. The problem? He pulls out the game for the wrong system, even though my preorder clearly stated what system it was for, and he confirmed it to me on the phone. He then starts looking around for the copy of the game on the correct system, which thankfully hadn't been sold yet. He then rings me up and says "Hold on, I'm going to try and get you a free warranty on the game." I replied and said "I don't need the warranty." He then said "Well, I'm going to hook you up with one anyway since it's free." He then starts fumbling around with things and I repeated again that I didn't need the warranty on the game and to just finalize my transaction. He put the warranty in, said he was going to put a little over a dollar onto a card for me, and I told him to just add a $5 e shop credit onto my receipt and I would pay the difference. The transaction completed, and I left the store. That's when it hit me that something seemed strange with the entire transaction. I look at my receipt, then realized that the employee had used my $5 voucher on my account to pay for the game warranty! I walked back in and asked him why he lied to me , and he says "What are you talking about?" I called him on it and said that he had used my voucher to pay for the warranty that he was supposedly giving to me for free, and that I couldn't believe he had been so brazenly unethical. I told him I wanted him to immediately correct the issue. When he was running the transaction I asked him why he did it and he replied that he "was just doing what his manager told him to do." He didn't give me a receipt for the return, just said it had been reversed. I checked immediately (I used a crypto.com debit card) and saw the return of $3.99 . I thought it was done.....except 10 minutes later I see another charge for $3.99! The dishonest employee seemed to recharge my card after I left! The charge is still on there 4 days later. The manager has run this store into the ground, has been telling his employees to be unethical and dishonest, and quite honestly the store is not well kept. They've now stolen money from me. This isn't the first time they've been dishonest either. On two other occasions they tried to throw the game warranty onto my total without even asking me, then try and give me crap when I tell them to take it off. They've even said things like "I can't believe you don't want it, well don't come back in if you have problems with it!" Do not shop here at this location. I will likely travel to a different location if I need to (heaven forbid) go to another Gamestop store. If you do choose to shop there, always look at your receipt to make sure they do not charge you for stuff you don't need. read more

So today Call of Duty cold war came out I headed down to my local GameStop with excitement and anticipation to buy the new game I entered the store and the associate asked me if I had pre-ordered the game my answer was no his response to me was what makes you think I have a copy of this game to sell you I was thrown back I could not believe the associate decide to talk to me that way he opened up a drawer with at least 50 games in there because it just came out today so instead of just selling me the game and maybe an on my way he ridicules me for not pre-ordering the game and gave me a ton of attitude his name was Roderick his employee number is 642 899 and because of this gentleman I will never enter that GameStop again apparently he's a manager!!!!!!!! read more

Horrible customer service. I called them about 20 minutes before close saying I wanted to come in and buy a a device. They told me sure, I arrive before close, and sure enough, they door is locked and they completely ignore me after I'm calling the store and knocking on the door. They wait until 8:01 after I've waited 5 minutes at the door to come and tell me it's 8 and they can't let me in. Cool, no problem. Just say that over the phone maybe ? Won't be bringing my business back here. They need to learn to read a clock and not a sign on the door that says closed. Time dictates when your closed, not delinquents who don't want to do their job. read more

This GameStop is ok in my book. I got a new PSVita for xmas and I went in to eye new games. The staff could be a tid bit more Intelligent and well informed. I tend to hate shopping where you ask an employee about something in their department and in this case it is not a department its the entire store and the staff members have no clue as to whats going on. Where are the new PSVita games? I don't know. Its like come on you work in a small store and you don't have any idea where the games are? I wont bore you just I will finish up by saying they need to get it together. I give 3 stars total because they had a lot of games and thank GOD I can read! I got 6 games total and left happy even tho the staff has a huge lack of knowledge of video games. read more

The service is ok but, everytime I buy a game from this location I always end up taking it back because it doesn't work. The employees need to do a better job and make sure the games aren't dirty or damaged. When guests trade those games in, check to make sure of that.. it's costing me too much money and time to be jumping on the bus over a broken game. That's not cool or funny at all. read more

Went to gamestop to get shiny code for pokemon. Two employees told me I had to pre order the game in order to get the code. No where online does It say it is required to pre order. Guess they were trying to trick me into buying something from their store. Decided to go to a different game stop across town and got the code for free. No pre order necessary. read more

Honestly i don't usually write such bad and long reviews, but this was just bothering me so much something had to be said. So on Saturday 7/21/18 i went down to gamestop I'm Henderson to look for a white PS4. Literally looked everywhere to buy my boyfriends white PS4 at all gamestop location, even called and asked if there was still white PS4 left, i was told by a guy name Bret over the phone that there was. Not knowing they stopped selling it due to it being limited addition. I was told from the eastern location in Henderson that this game stop had the last white PS4 in Nevada but it's refurbished. But yet i was also reassured from the Henderson location that it was in good working conditions. So at this point, i was desperate. Drove about 35-40 minutes down there to pick it up. I was super happy to have gotten the white PS4. I took it home and gave it to my boyfriend. We hooked it up, reorganized his room and everything. He was super happy! And i was too. I was getting ready to put in the NBA 2k18 game, the disc wouldn't go in. I pressed the eject button to see maybe a disc was in there already but nothing came out. Plus it was making this loud noise. Finally the disc goes in but it's still making that loud noise and nothing is being displayed. After 20 minutes of trying we gave up and decided to return it. There goes our mood. Went back to the Henderson location to find out that we have to make returns at the store where we bought it from. So there's that plus. We drove back down to this location, made the return and we over heard this guy whispering to the girl as she was checking us out, literally laughed and said "haha i told you this wasn't going to work and they'd want a refund" i mean is this how a business is being ran? Who says that right in front of the customer that isn't happy?! Couldn't even wait until we left the store and thought he was being quiet about it. No sir we've heard it all. Never going to a gamestop ever again. Wasted my time and was such a hassle. read more

This is an alright place the staff is alright they are not very helpful unless you ask them to be but they have the games. but there is another game store not far from this one and it caries the new games to it is cheaper there and they even have all of the classics. so game stop is my second choice on this road. read more
