"Music is powerful. As people listen to it, they can be affected. They respond." Plato…read more As a young child I can remember that that the only thing that quelled my crying was music. My parents put those huge Hi Fi stereo headphones over my ears. Thus the love of music began. I have always created a song in my head. Constantly humming and dancing to all sorts of different sounds of music make me happy. For the love of music and video of you have not visited a Zia's you have never lived. Stop in here for all sorts of music. Are you looking for something hard to find? Perhaps vintage vinyl. They have it all. In all sorts of price ranges. The categories are endless. So many bins of music and movies. Are you a fan of reading they even keep a small library of books. Not as many books as years prior. The printed version of books are a dying breed. We need to keep places like this alive so come and visit and buy your music locally than online. Support your local record store. Who remembers Tower Records? We all know what happened to this record store. Here we go with music. It quells the anger and pain that comes with life . You can listen and enjoy life without being anxious or afraid. Turn up and tune in your favorite band . These days it's all digital music. Does anyone buy records or vinyl any more. Mine do! Enlighten oneself? Could you image a world without all the immediate images and details that are available on your phone . Wow, I'm going to take it back. In my day, we had the start of the cell phone it was huge and had to be carried in a bag. There was no plug and go from home . If you wanted the album you had to go to the Zia's and buy it. Sometimes we even stood in line to buy an album . My my how times have changed? These days I have passed my love of music to my children. Actually, they visit their local Zia's more than I do . Remember to listen and share the love of music with all those around you . These days you can make someone's heart sing with the gift of tunes. Let the world be yours find your sound track here. Let's go ! La La La La that tune and sound plays again and again in your head. It's your favorite song and you can hum and dance to it . It's because of Zia's, our beloved music store still that we can have the "hard copy," of our favorite songs . Continue to be you. Burst out in song and dance as often as you can. Music sets your mood and keeps the beats of your heart in balance . Turn it up let's go and dance.

Korean Dramas are all the rage. If you or anyone you know is affected by Koreanitis please report…read moreto China King for your dose of Asian culture. They also carry Chinese and Japanese dramas and movies as well. My mom and I share a love of Korean television. They span the spectrum of comedy, horror, family, romance, suspense, and era pieces. The prices are affordable with most costing around $10 for shorter series to $50 for the longer ones. China King is quick to release DVDs of new shows as soon as they finish broadcasting. The English subtitles are Konglish at times. Certain phrases are directly translated leaving the viewer to question what they are trying to convey, but after a few it gets easier. Each comes with Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, and English subs. The audio comes in the first three languages. All DVDs are region free allowing them to be played on any player. Located in the Chinatown plaza next to the elevators and Mother's Korean BBQ. It is easy to miss, but look to the left of the elevators.

Fried food needs to be placed under a hot lamp as cold. Sushi did not look appetizing so I didn't eat any. Basic Chinese buffet. Probably the friendliest Chinese buffet because at so many other Chinese buffets workers seem so rude.

I honestly didn't expect it to be this solid because the bookstore itself feels so elevated, but they absolutely delivered. The café was bustling on a Sunday afternoon, and the smell of fresh coffee hit you right away. I ordered a sugar-free oat milk latte and really enjoyed it. Now the bookstore... it's big, thoughtfully laid out by genre, and packed with options. It feels like an elevated version of Barnes & Noble but with way more personality. The lighting leans a little on the dim side, but it doesn't take away from browsing at all, in fact, it kind of adds to the vibe. There are shelves everywhere plus curated tables throughout, so you'll constantly find something new. They also have the cutest selection of items in glass cases, clips, jewelry, figurines, and other unique finds. Tons of book accessories too, like reading lights and bookmarks. And yes... there's even a bunny living its best life in there, which somehow makes the whole experience even better. It's the kind of place where you can easily spend hours wandering around, finding gifts, or just hanging out. Service was super friendly, and you can tell the staff genuinely enjoys being there, which makes sense, because honestly... who wouldn't?
