GameStop - Poor service doesn't respect medical conditions of there customers - Electronics Near Me - Houston, Texas

Not processing and or late processing orders. Failed to inform me of restrictions placed on my second order after the first order was never correctly processed and or lost in transit, delivery company is even worse. Caused huge delays in my order, despite giving me dates and not adhering to those dates, this was a present that was very late due to their incompetence. Then 30 days later, I get an email as if they were going to resolve this matter(as if this were a game), was not thoroughly investigated, yet after the resolution was offered, over 30 days later, finally, when I respond, the offer is removed and not adhered to. This was the most inconvenient, incompetent, unprofessional experience I have ever received. read more

Terrible with an awful odor soon as you walk in needs to be closed I went in to try and sell my PS4 it was a guy with Dreads and heaven set Caucasian guy there working and they had awful customer service I waited almost an hour just for him to say he can't take the ps4 because it has dust in it, he banged on my ps4 multiple times didn't even try testing to see if it works just gave me the dumbest answer I've ever heard from GameStop ever I'll never shop there again and I hope no one else makes the mistake on going there. read more

The workers here felt the need to call the cops on costumers standing outside the store. One of which had 10 games he wanted to trade in and the others simply wanted to look at the games. The customers asked if there were any playstations - in which they were told they had sold out. Great. Perfectly fine, but the customers can proceed to look at other things in which they were told they couldn't come inside. The manager and the worker proceeded to call the cops because he was worried for two girls inside that needed to be "escorted" out. There was NO crime committed and nor did the customers outside ever insinuate any type of fear. This is racial profiling at its best. Don't go here. read more

I went to gamestop specifically to pick up one Minecraft game for my daughters Wii U. I called the closest location to me and they didn't have it so they searched and found it at a nearby location. I went and luckily the store was not busy. The clerk greeted me right away. He found the game fairly quickly for me. He had trouble locating my rewards member account but after entering in my info my discount came up to the discounted price anyway. We aren't a pro member so I am not sure what happened but I was pleased with the quick in and out transaction. read more

This particular GameStop is located around the Westheimer/Eldridge intersection in the SuperTarget plaza, nestled in between an AT&T and a Vitamin Shoppe store. TVs, demos, sometimes-intimidating-yet-surprisingly-friendly employees, and shelves upon shelves of games... yeah, this GameStop isn't any different than its sister stores. Except it actually has an in-store restroom; a new feature that they're implementing in every new GS to be built in Houston - as a former GS employee myself, I can't tell you how mind-blowing this is. oh yeah, and that yummy "new store" smell. GameStop, stores that specializes in video games. What more can you ask from them? Well, firstly I wanna say that I am very glad this particular GameStop is the one near me. Yes, they'll all have the latest games and accessories for your console, but this one is more than just that. The store itself is larger than other locations I've been to, making it easier to maneuver around and look for games. The extra space also just makes this location seem more organized and less cluttered. The best part about this GameStop are the people behind the desk. They are all very helpful, knowledgeable of almost all the games, and just overall really cool people to talk to. Of course each person has preferences on types of games and genres, and there is definitely someone who would be able to relate with you and your gaming choices. Not all GameStops have staff that willing and friendly to talk to you about games. If you live around the area, you are lucky enough to have this location as your neighborhood GameStop. read more
