Seemed very annoyed that we were there I was probably in there for 3 mins poking around. While a friend purchased something. They came off very condescending Asked when we first came in what we needed Which we said the item we were looking for. With an attitude "i dont think we have that" They double check They have it. Annoying. Don't be rude off the bat. I get everyone hates last second clients But we truly didn't know. We did make the purchase. But it was an uncomfortable environment. Attempted to sell a PS Portal for cash, we were told we could go to Henderson GameStop to get $100 credit for the postal. We called the Henderson store to verify that this information was accurate which the staff member on the phone verified the previously staff member clams. once we got to the Henderson store we were told they would give us $52.00 for the PS Potal. This is a store scam attempting to take advantage of people and low ball them into selling an item less then market value. This is clear disrespect towards its customers as its attempts to take advantage of them. I will no longer be shopping with Gamestop and directly went home and sold all my GameStop stock as after my direct experience today, I am predicting that GameStop will be out of business before to long. read more

Pulled up in my Ferrari aka Batmobile to get myself two copies of NBA 2k23, three ps5, two Xbox Xs, and Pokémon plushie but nobody was present between 3:00-3:30pm of 1/12/2023. There was a sign on the door indicating all employees took a lunch break together knowing at least one person has to stay in the store to help customers, per Ex Employee of Game Stop. came here the other day, on the search for a game that hasn't been in stock at the other game stops I've been to. The staff were super friendly about it, knowing that I came a few minutes before closing. I also loved coming in to them asking me right away, what I was looking for! I love the location of this GameStop too, especially since it has such a nice view of the mountains which can also capture an amazing sunset! If I could leave no stars I would. Not sure what GameStop is thinking with it's new policy of not have stock. I went in to buy a game. Took the box to the counter and was told they could ship it to me. When I asked why the guy behind the counter said that GameStop would no longer be carrying there merchandise in the store. Just displays. STUPID. He said when you buy something they will now be shipping to your house. So I was frustrated but I figured I was there I might as well get it shipped to the house. Till he told me I would have to pay for the shipping too. What the heck. First I drive there, then get told that I can't even buy something in the store it HAS to be shipped. Then I also have to pay the shipping. No way... officially done with GameStop. I will find it online somewhere else. I do have to say the kid working there was trying his hardest to help me out. He told me someone earlier that day got mad about the new policy and threw something at him. That's not cool. He was a nice kid just doing his job. If you go in take it easy on the staff. This GameStop is amazing. Every time I go here the employees help me and I always give feedback to help out on the surveys. I just wish people would realize that just because they had one bad experience doesn't mean it's always gonna be that way. Sometimes people mess up and they can always make up for it. Worst game stop location. Went to sell some of my games and was told that they did not take these particular PS4 and Xbox 1 games anymore. This is complete BULL!!! This place is a regular gamestop. They have an average collection of games. Separated alphabetically and by new and used and by system. So it was pretty easy to find what you were looking for. When I say average collection I mean average for gamestop which isn't that big. But we did find the games we were looking for and browsing wasn't that exciting seeing as the collection is small. When i was looking for a game I asked the cashier if I could buy it. He advised me that they were coming out with a sequel a few weeks later and told me that it was going to come bundled with the games also. So I held of. Later I asked one of them about a game and he told me that it was better on the ps4 which I did not own (not in a rude tone). They are not overly friendly there but they are not rude either. there is a sign probably displayed on the outside window saying that this particular store is a prestige store. Not true. Let me tell you about my adventure... Bob and Larissa we're not helpful at all. on the company's website, they say that they are trading in Xboxes for extra money to go to where the purchase of an Xbox x. My stepson has an old Xbox. The price online was $150 trade in. I only ended up getting 70. Let me explain... The controller with the old Xbox worked perfectly on the day that I disconnected it. Somehow it was now defective. Even though it worked in the store. I ended up matching the buttons and moving the control sticks. It looked like it worked perfectly.. She claimed one of the buttons didn't work. But when I pushed it it was fine. so at that point she said she would not take off money from the trade because the controller worked. But when Bob showed up from the break room in the back, she said she had to. It was store policy she claimed. Also she said that I'd have to buy the Xbox x today in order to receive the bonus trade-in credit. but there is no mention of that on the company's website. Even Bob did not know of the special. And Bob claimed he had been working for GameStop for 16 years. He even told me he knows everything about GameStop. My wife bought my stepson a pair of headphones which she no longer uses at that location as well. Apparently they are not taking them in on trade. which I can actually understand, but Larissa said she could not find them in the system and then just gave up trying to search for them. She did not ask Bob for help which I was surprised that because apparently Bob knows everything about GameStop. very disappointed with the level of customer service. I will stick to buying things on Amazon from now onor the other GameStop location by Target on Stephanie Street in Henderson Nevada also convenient to my location. These people have lost a customer for life. And I will make sure my stepson does not shop there either after he becomes aware of how I was treated. read more

My fiance and I came in with 5 minutes to closing, there was an emloyee about 6' with blonde hair and tattoos, granted they were about to close , this dude was a dick. Pressuring us to buy this game or that game just so he could close on time. (Pressuring not suggesting) I had to leave before we checked out because I was so ticked off. Only thing I don't like is when I go to trade in games they do the absolute bare minimum at this location.

I got a phone call to come in and pick up a pre release game with no instructions other than come get it. When I get there I'm told that I can't come in until I paid full price on the game before the pre release. Mind you I've done this same pre release in other games and our full price same way. Then the rude teenage employee treated me like garbage at the door after I waited 30 min with no instructions while I waited. Now I have to purchase my game here to get the bonus material but will not come back. No wonder Walmart does better than these stores. read more

I was very displeased with the customer service here, to say the least. There was an exclusive funko pop I was looking to purchase, when I asked a store associate, if they had any, the store associate then asked their manager; Paul, and he said "I just got off the phone with them, and I already told them we have one, the store associate then told Paul, "actually there is a customer in line that just asked" Paul then instructed him to tell me that there weren't any left. When I finally reached the checkout I specifically spoke with Paul, about why he was saving an item, for someone on the phone, when I was already waiting in line for 30 minutes, and was ready to pay there and then, for said item. After about 5 minutes, of talking and receiving attitude, from Paul, he finally let me purchase my item.
