I thought this particular location was decent until recently and I put off writing this until I discovered what scumbags they really are. I bought my boyfriend NBA 2K19 for Christmas. After he played it a couple times, he noticed it was not functioning the way it should. To rule out it being a faulty XBOX console, he played several other games, none of which turned off in the middle of it the way said game did. Like most men do, he threw out the gift receipt I gave him, so we went to the store to see if we could exchange the game since the disc was clearly defective. After what seemed like a promising phone call (before we drove all the way there), we get to the store to have them tell us they cannot exchange it for a brand new copy since it's been 31 days (wow, a whole single day past the 30 day return policy) and I didn't purchase the "game play guarantee". So, we were SOL. But wait! The cashier "saves the day" by letting us exchange it for the pre-owned NBA 2K19 20th anniversary edition. This time, we purchase the game play guarantee to ensure we don't get screwed again. Two days later, voila! Yet ANOTHER faulty disc presents itself. So, my boyfriend went to the Bridgewater location (the one by Target) since he's most familiar with that one anyway. He saw the cashier he was usually friendly with in the past and he ended up letting him exchange it for a brand new disc, told us we overpaid for the game play guarantee at this location, and said that this location as well as Woodbridge are notorious for poor customer service. Side note: NBA 2K19 is known for having batches of defective copies. Moral of the story: go to Bridgewater GameStop instead! read more
