Tuesday 7:00 PM to 7:30 pm August 23rd went into GameStop to buy two games for a quick stop, stood in the store for about 30mins. The cashier was chitchatting with the guy at the counter trying to upsell and kept the guy from leaving as he clearly wanted too. We got the games we wanted both brand new and waited in line realized they were still busy and browsed a little more. We stood in line again and was ignored, keep in mind there was only the customer at the cash register and us in the store. Felt like our time was wasted and put the games back, then we left. We usually like the quick service but this time we we're completing ignored, decided to take our business to another store. Wouldn't go to this store for good service. I have to say the girl/man who worked on the register the day when I came in to trade my switch controller that we bought at the store that day but was the wrong controller for my system was super sketchy and rude AF this thing thought a brand new controller was worth $8.96 I had paid $38.99 for it that day then we wanted to by the right controller and it or they/them said it was $40.00 I then looked at target at the same thing across the street before because I didn't want to pay that much for a controller when target had no unbrand controllers I went back Inside to your store and told they/them I would by the controller and it told me it was $49.99 I'm almost certain this young man lady thing just scammed me and I will never be back to a GameStop again this was an experience I won't wish on anyone also they/them she-man itsir herhis looking things lack of Customer service and respectful behavior was intolerable read more

These GameStop Employees have helped me out plenty of times and have been extremely polite and helpful every time I've asked them for help with anything. Even when they don't particularly have what I'm looking for they're sure to point me towards the right direction. Everyone working here deserves a pay raise of some sort read more

Stopped by to pick up "Birds of Steel" for the PS3 after checking to make sure they had a copy online and thankfully they did. This location in Graceland is fairly easy to find since it faces High Street but parking and traffic can be a bear here at times. I gotta say for many of the G-stops I have been in, the clerk here was actually a gamer and seemed to enjoy her job. She gave some good game suggestions and pointed out some smoking specials. I kinda have a love-hate relationship with this chain but today the love was here. I rarely buy new games but they always have a good selection of used games both old skool and recent titles so that's what brings me back to the 'Stop. I will be back to this location just for the people working here that seem to give a shite about the customers and not the usual surly clerks that work in these places. read more

Came in to browse the used games for a copy of doom. Was immediately asked if I wanted to sign up for this or pre order that. The man was physically blocking me from looking around and literally would not let me get a word in edgewise . I might have actually bought something if it wasn't for the immediate sales pressure. It's not the guys fault, it is definitely the company. I don't think I will ever step in to a GameStop ever again due to their annoying sales tactics. Why would I buy a used game for 45 (with their awesome gold membership) when I can wait two days and get the same game for 20 from Amazon? read more

Firstly, great location - in the Graceland shopping center, so there is proximity to plenty of other stores (Target, Kroger). This is your average Gamestop. I find the place to be a little cramped (but they usually are), and slightly musty. However, I just went today and had no issues with smell or tightness. If it's busy, it can be difficult to maneuver around. Despite these faults, I still like this Gamestop. Yes, the prices are a little high, but they always have a great selection, especially on pre-owned games at decent prices. (I buy for Xbox 360 only, can't speak for other systems.) I'm willing to pay more instead of having to meet some creepy dude from Craigslist who also tries to sell me weed for some reason. The guy behind the counter has been there for a while, and is very knowledgeable about not just the games themselves, but ratings (for multiple countries! I heard him talking to a couple from South Africa about how their rating system differs from the ESRB). You won't regret going here, just expect a higher price with good selection and great staff. read more

A Gamestop by any other name is still a Gamestop. Ubiquitous and pricey as it may be, Gamestop still has a fantastic used section and all the newest games to quench the thirst of almost any nerd. Don't give them a hard time because they are a giant corporation, capitalism at work should not be mocked. Buy most any gaming related merchandise you want at Gamestop and try not to get sucked in to things you don't want. read more

Requested a hold for a Nintendo Switch system through the GameStop website. This store never confirmed the hold of the system. I decided to buy the system from a different business. I will never buy from Gamestop again.....very annoyed with how the staff at this location handles customer service. read more
