Regularly priced merchandise is overpriced in my opinion, but when items start getting marked down the deals are great. Today I went home with a $16.50 Winter coat; marked down from $100! Vast selections as far as sizes, and I appreciate the petite options. Probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced in a Kohl's store. We've never had a bad customer service experience. This location is far more organized and easier to shop (clutter-free aisles) compared to some of the other Kohl's stores. We shop here a few times a year. My husband typically fares better than I do, but I still enjoy browsing.

I was recently in Champaign for a conference and purchased a pair of winter boots (it was snowing…read moreand I did not pack appropriately), from Tradehome Shoes. They have a great selection of unique shoes and brands you can't get at many places (Rieker, Pikolinos, Birkenstock, etc.). They have a variety of price points (I saw women's sneakers from $20-$120), but they do carry brands of nicer, well-made shoes which are pricey by nature. However, Tradehome prices are competitive (equal to or less than Amazon). The shoe selection is great, but their employees and customer service will bring me back to this store. They are so kind and helpful. The staff went above and beyond to clean, polish and waterproof my shoes before I headed out. It is obvious the staff here care about their brands and their products as well as customer service. I will definitely be back to Tradehome Shoes next time I'm in Champaign!

They had a good looking jacket off the rack that needed only minor alterations, and were able to have the trousers ordered in and hemmed with plenty of time to spare. I got something that was fast and generic (funeral!) and what they had for me was very affordable. If you need something fancier, more unique, they have that too, including some nice looking linen blend suits for the summer. Staff was very nice, very patient with me, and have good taste.

Kuhn's provides EXCELLENT customer care. Recently, I took my dad to three different stores --…read moreKuhn's being the last of the three -- to buy him a blue blazer as an early Father's Day gift. The manager had Dad measured up in no time, found him a reasonably priced ITALIAN jacket -- so reasonably priced that I was able to spring for a good pair of all-season wool trousers. I had wasted my time at the other two stores. Kuhn's is old-school in terms of customer care -- meaning it is excellent. The style choices are up-to-date, however. Beautiful clothing. This store is worth a visit. You won't get this level of customer care elsewhere in Champaign-Urbana -- not in men's clothing anyway. Oh . . . if you want a pair of orange trousers -- almost jeans-like, they are so comfortable -- Kuhn's has them. For those of us who bleed Illini Orange and Blue, they are perfect. Bought them for myself.

This is really the only place I shop for clothing in the area because I am always too disappointed with the selection (or lack thereof) at the mall. At least at Plato's, I am always thrilled with the low price even if I'm not always thrilled with the selection. The men's section is small, comparatively, but it's worth snooping through every now and then to find something good. As for selling used items to them, they are very selective on what they will take. I'm not sure what sort of algorithm they use, but I have tried to sell my good-condition, expensive brands, like Zara, but they seem to be inconsistent in their decisions. I usually stick to buying over selling.

But today was not the normal crew and wow is all I can say. I definitely will never ever go on a weekend ik that much. Shout out to the weekday crew!!! They definitely know fashion and what it's worth!!! Not so much with today's crew very blah and passive. Totally off on recent records on clothing and pricing as well as I don't even see a lot of the clothes of mine on the receipt that you directly have to ask for now. Yeah love this store amazing but I'll stick to the weekday girls forever. It's impossible to actually go through all your clothes to see what's in your totes so you don't even find out until you actually get home such I'm from out of town so it's not a trip down the road. Then to see wow everything amazing is gone yet it didn't add up in several areas. Again only weekdays for me from now on.

It's usually brimming with cool knickknacks, wall decor items, lamps, the odd accent chairs and ornament tables thrown in for good measure. There's so much beauty to behold here. It's like a poor man's art gallery. Or an Ikea on a more manageable level. And the best thing about TJ Maxx: prices aren't exorbitant. Which's just as well considering the fact that it's a discount retailer. I can totally see myself decorating our apartment with stuff bought from TJ Maxx if I had a ton of money. As things currently stand, I'm just content browsing through the aisles, oohing and aahing at all the lovely stuff from a distance!

The staff were extremely disorganized in figuring out how to handle this. Not very confidence inspiring!
