When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by several employees. They asked us to head to one of the counters in the back and they would assist us shortly. They were so enthusiastic about the Gameboy games my fiancé had. It was nice to see them get excited about games that were popular in the 90's and 2000's. We overheard them saying that they typically match whatever GameStop is currently offering in store credit. To our surprise, they gave my fiancé more than GameStop would have if we would've gone there. This is why it matters to support small businesses. We were happy with the level of service we received here and will definitely be back.

After checking out the card store, we saw a game store on the other side of the building. Since we…read morehad already parked we decided to check it out. Entrance is a little tricky to get too so park on the side near the card store and walk around to the front of the building. Upon entering we were greeted with a HUGE selection of games, everything from NES to current Xbox, PS5 and Switch. Even had some cabinet games you could try out. Behind the counter they had some harder to find titles and some tables between rows was like a mini nerd yard sale with figures, books, crafts, etc. Husband picked up a gunpla model kit from 1980s, I got pokemon pinball for my game boy and some DS games I had been looking for. Price wise was about what I expected for what I got, seemed about middle of the road. On the left side of the building is a DVD section and fairly expansive comic book selection. Husband looked over what they had but nothing really stood out, we mostly came for the retro games. Guy behind the counter was super helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had about their stock and condition of the games. If we're in the area I plan on stopping back in and seeing what new stock they have on hand.

Also, would like to highlight that the book buyback program is one factor that features great value. My daughter and I had a great time visiting 2-3 weeks back. Staff were super helpful and along with getting some used copies in great condition, we were also able to receive a discount (trip was within 30 days after the date of my birthday). They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. The staff is really friendly. Now the only downside is the current location. I was there and didn't have a spot to play on a Friday night but that isn't the stores fault. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. A really convenient mini grocery store with all kinds of Asian snacks and ice cream. They even sell boba tea.
