The groups were separated by age and my granddaughter says the camp was fun and clean. There were bleachers for parents who wanted to sit and watch the activities. Lots of parking in their private lot.

His oldest daughter Sam if not mistaken works there and was working with clients. Sis was killin' in adjusting and asking client how they felt with different hits. I wish them all the luck in the future and planning on going back before we leave. Mahalo Chris that lesson.

Very large park nestled within west Torrance neighborhood with lots of dirt hiking trails around…read morethe perimeter. There's lots of elevation. From the top, you can see multiple little league fields and the reservoir which is currently filled with water and lots of ducks/geese. In the summer, this usually dries up. There is a basketball court, public bathrooms, and a playground. Picnic area has a water fill station which is nice since the rest of the park is reclaimed water and not safe to drink. Good place for walking dogs and even has an unofficial dog park. Lots of kids mountain bike on the trails during the daytime. Unfortunately, is very dark during the nighttime and often has coyotes

This park is spacious. Has picnic tables, aquatic facilities, basketball court, pickel ball and a good outdoor stage presentation facility for events. Place fits over a 1000 people at this outdoor event venue. Bring your pop up tent and your fold up chairs to feel comfortable. With that said, my #1 gripe about this park, only two unisex toilets available! Who would put a 2 person bathroom with a cipher code that can accidentally lock. These two bathrooms is stationed like a miniature hut stationed by the entertainment area. Who ever engineered these bathrooms should be reprimanded. It was a dumb idea for cipher codes to be implemented. One bathroom was accidently locked with no one in there! Terrible idea. Over a 1000 people and only as two restrooms nearby! If you had to use the use restrooms.. you have to walk in the other side of the park where the picnic area is located. It is quite a walk! Walked or wait 30 minutes. Overall, its comfortable park minus the restroom situation.

Most recently, it's been here for me when I come back from NYC and just want to get some shots up alone. Nothing as cathartic as grabbing the new basketball my Granny just got me, popping my airpods in, and doing the basketball workouts I used to do as a kid when hoop dreams were all I cared about. Something about reconnecting with that part of myself just eases the stresses that come with adulthood. I think that chubby insecure kid would be proud of who I am today, and that makes me smile. It's good to look back at your past and appreciate who you've become... But don't stare at it, or you'll end up staying there. Look back, smile, and keep pushing forward. The bathrooms are horrible; only one of the stalls in the women's restroom has a door, no seat covers, no trash cans, no paper towels and usually no toilet paper. When we play softball here we have to bring a "potty bag" with soap, toilet paper, etc. I was told the men's restroom has no doors. The parking is scarce and the train that goes by is terribly loud! They double booked our softball games with a field softball practice - which doesn't surprise me because it seems like nothing at this park is well managed. I only go to this park when I absolutely have to- like for softball games. Let's talk about field conditions; most outfielders know that this is "the best" or rather the worse place for sprained ankles! There are so many mounds and gopher holes in the grass that rolling an ankle or tripping is inevitable. This summer I noticed that there is now a makeshift dirt track for remote control off-road trucks. It's super random but nice if you're into that. Not so nice for the people playing softball because that dirt track is in the perfect place to blow clouds of dirt into our direction so you get a nice mouthful of dirt if you're running to first base! Unfortunately I have no choice to play softball here since I signed up to play before I realized what park it was at. I wish I could say this park "used to be good" but it has honestly been this way for years. Hopefully next year we play somewhere else until then please say a prayer for our ankles.

Note - Manhattan Beach is pretty strict with large parties at the park- so you will need to reserve if you're hosting a party. Overall it's a fun park that's a perfect spot for picnics, nature sight seeing and chill days.
