I've played in a few poolrooms in Memphis that are located in "bad" areas (are there any "good" areas left in Memphis?), where I would be approached by addicts and winos in the parking lot. None of that so far here in Southaven. The staff is among the friendliest I have encountered, anywhere. So far I've dealt with three different employees on three separate visits, and all were quite positive experiences. Prices are great. Where else can you play pool all afternoon (open until 6 PM) for seven bucks? Have not yet eaten the food, but the menu prices look very good. GREAT playlist coming from the speakers in the afternoon. They'd get a lot more money from the jukebox if their canned music was bad, but please don't tell them ;)

I have never really gotten anything bad at Huey's ad the service is always good. I absolutely love their spinach and artichoke. Dip. I also love their soups. My wife and I stopped in before a show. I started out with the soup of the day. It was a white bean with chicken and chili. I know that don't sound great....lol...But let me tell you that was a very good soup. It had a very unique flavor. My wife got her usual steak on a stick. She said it was very tender and flavorful. She also got a order of The Onion rings. If you like the big onion rings, you can't go wrong. I got the Reuben sandwich and onion straws. It was hands down one of the best Reuben's I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend Southaven Huey's. if you want a good meal for a good price you can't go wrong here. Oh, and be sure to try the soup of the day you won't be disappointed. Turnip greens - pretty standard Red beans and rice - pretty dang good for being in Mississippi. Ask for the hot sauce. Both my client and I really like this. We saw Breanna when we ordered, as the runner put down our meal-she asked if it looked okay. We never saw her again until we were done with our meal. Not checking on us after we've taken a bite, asked for refills, tried to offer desserts-nothing. It is located in the Graceland Exhibition area. It's a cool place to wind down after all the touring and have a few drinks before heading home. Carlos was our bartender and was attentive and super friendly. He supplied us with complimentary chips and Hawaiian lei's. They have food but we did not try any so can't comment on that. Worth checking out if ever at Graceland.
