And the selection of toys! Incredible! My daughter was in heaven! Tons of sensory stuff - slime, squishies, glitter wands, a massive selection of Nee-Doh, etc etc. They also sell Schleich figurines, bunch of kits/sets for science, magic, gems, etc, and other "regular" toys. We mainly stayed in the toy section, so we didn't venture over to the hobby side, but it looked like there was tons of stuff. Place was clean and well organized. I keep coming back again and again to Source for Sports…read more They consistently have what we need for hockey when other larger retailers are out. And I've yet to see a better price elsewhere! Just today we needed a second pair of compression pants for my hockey kiddo and I got two pairs on clearance here for $20 when they were $70+ just down the street at Sport Check. Plus, we totally lucked out and got help today from Amber (I think???) longtime hockey player who has worked here for years and still picks up the occasional shift. She's baked our skates, fixed stance issues, custom fit super feet, and been all around awesome for us on numerous visits. Protein - prepay for skate sharpenings here to save money and to save time for drop off/pick up! We also get names screened onto jerseys here - whether for soccer or hockey, we've never had a problem with the cresting coming off. We have had an oopsie what they crested but it was fixed quickly and not the end of the world. See you soon Source for Sports, see you soon!

Wow, I wasn't expecting this store to be so huge…read more Atmosphere is a great store for outdoor apparel gear (mostly apparel though). Since the store is so freakin' big, there's tons to choose from. Most of what they have to offer is by the likes of Columbia or The North Face. That being said, the prices might seem pretty high, but those brands are pricey to begin with, so I can't hold it against Atmosphere. Columbia and NF winter jackets and outerwear hover around the $200 range because they're really good quality. Either way, Atmosphere always has loads of stuff on sale.

At one point there were actually 6 sales associates standing at and around the two tills; Not one associate acknowledged us. I finally asked if any of them could assist us with our exchange on the second till to which one of them replied that we could go downstairs, but it would likely take longer. I assured him that it couldn't possibly take longer than this as there was 5 of them standing here and nothing was getting done. We went downstairs to the Sport Check till and were helped writhing 3 minutes.

I have to say that, this Terra Losa location is a store which I have brought my art prints in to…read morehave framed several times, and it has consistently blown me away with the amazing level of customer service the provide... Today, I left the adjacent Staples absolutely furious and disgusted with the complete incompetence and degenerate so called service and management (another story, but seriously, horrible). I was concerned that I was not in good frame of mind to conduct business with specific and costly art framing services, but I needed to use my day off to get it done... The framing staff member Kianna, was exemplary. She was extremely courteous and used her expertise to help me with my price consciousness and particular aesthetic interests. She was not condescending in any way and explained very clearly what her processes were and listened to what I was saying regarding my needs, hopes and timelines. She paid attention and came with suggestions and guidance in a way which showed me that she had my interests in mind. If I were to show or share to any service people what I would want and expect in really good customer service, I would playback the experience I had. In fact, I left feeling redeemed because she also clued me into the sale/deal which was within my timeline forthcoming and saved me a huge amount (not even kidding). It is hardly ever which I would go out of my way to share positive review of corporate chain stores, but, as they say, it is people which make the business good bad or in this case great. Full credit to Kianna, her team of coworkers and the management of the Terra Losa Michaels for turning my night from completely disgusted (disgraceful Staples in the same plaza), into very thankful and pleased/satisfied. I would go so far as to say, that they made my night. Well done.
