couple of young guys that know there sh , true the store is small, and you may see an empty soda cup on the counter, but put in mine the reason you went there.I take my son every month and he gets. great deals. Its nice to see a big smile from my son as we exit the store. After my son plays a game but wants to try others they happily exchange it for another, So if you want to complain about a little dust go to a cleaner, larger store and you will be paying for that. Please don't misunderstand me,this store is clean, you can't please everyone. This business has a great selection of games and a patient staff.

Purchased an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 controller from GameCity via eBay and was scammed. Seller sent me a…read moreused 8BitDo ultimate controller instead which is a much older model and much cheaper. I could have bought it new on Amazon for less than what I paid for this old used junk. The seller said I was wrong and that's not what they shipped me which is a complete lie. Stay away from this scammer or it will happen to you too!

Called Game Hunter Game Cities sister store around 2pm today, made an inquiry about three different…read moreunique controllers that i was searching for, which was the Logitech G Heavy Equipment Side Pannel, Which came out in 2018, a Hori Farm Vehicle simulation control Setup which was released last year so did not have high hopes , or a Thrustmaster SimTask Farmstick which also was released around the same time as the Hori. Now I am aware that one item is obscure but has been out for a while, and the other two were obscure and relatively new. Sadly they had not seen any of those controllers in their store and were unaware of exactly what they were however they listened intently to my description and allowed me to leave my number with them for when the odd day comes when someone is selling obscure simulation controller. The employee at Game Hunter Suggested I call up their sister store to see if they had any of the items possibly in their inventory, saying they tended to get more obscure simulation items. I called up Game City right after, I asked the individual on the phone if they had a moment to see if any of the three items I had on my list were possibly within the store, he said yes how can i help? I then asked if they possibly had any obscure simulation controllers or peripherals currently in house, he said then hurriedly again asked me what exactly are you looking for? I Barely finished the word Logitech and he goes yeah yeah ill take a look and then call you back.. Okay take a look at what? since all he heard was one word and decided that what ever the heck he was doing prior that was exclaimed as non existent became immediately pressing to cut me off mid sentence to tell me he needs to let me go and call me back after he goes and looks.. To be clear he didnt listen to me, just cut me off on the phone and never returned the call. Now to be clear i was courteous, respectful and fully understanding of the obscurity of what i was seeking, which to be clear two of the items are technically main brand items aka logitech and Thrustmaster so obscure is a relative term . Let me be Clear, I am 35 years old have been gaming since a wee one and have been doing buissnes with independent shops and pawn shops all the like my entire life I have nothing but respect for individuals who work in those industries knowing that many customers are well just down right unpleasant. This interaction left a horrid taste in my mouth, I felt deeply disrespected as a customer and the level at which i was dismissed felt almost Bigoted, I am a transwoman and its clear when i speak. If you are LGBTQ I highly suggest you avoid this establishment, since they made it clear that Their bigotry was more valuable then my patronage. I have never written a bad review before or wrote a review before period, nor accused a store owner of being Transphobic if not hateful. Its been several hours since that interaction took place and i still feel that my experience was so unpleasant that I feel genuinely upset and treated unfairly which at a geeky small game store with a pocket full of cash Which dosent happen often Has left me feeling deeply uncomfortable to the point i will never step foot into a privately owned game store again because the sadness of being treated that way overshadows the few good things and experiences i could have. Game City broke my confidence to interact with small business owners Also i grew up in Vermont Grassroots... I will now be buying everything off of amazon and Ebay its sad when the cold indifference of a faceless corporation though mail is preferred to a small humble locally owned grass roots store, of which is selling you not just games but Memories Nostalgia, even a lost childhood to some. I am sorry to make this about transgender issues, but if you take a peek at the reviews about this place on here that the other review is about being poorly treated to the point of it almost being spiteful is also a Transwoman.... Not a good look, Not to pull a gamestop nightmare or anything but as a nerdy woman I just ran out of places to shop at ease without being discriminated against. The largest Knife Shop in the World in Pidgeon Forge Tennessee made me feel more comfortable and they were selling Nazi War Artifacts next to the extended Ar P mags. To work off what Emu M. Said that they are not knowledgeable, that was incorrect sadly, they are highly knowledgeable of the trade, but have zero patience or desire to assist a transwoman. Glad i served...

Along with plenty of newest releases on DVD and many older titles on disc , you will find, countless movies from the 80s and 90s that never made it onto DVD. You won't find these videos on a streaming service. So many good films in any category you want. Drama, comedy, action, Horror, Sci- Fi foreign independent. Make sure you have a VHS VCR to view these wonderful movies you can't get anywhere else. Don't have a VCR you can easily find one at Salvation Army or thrift store for 5 bucks. With over 2400 movies you could rent 3 movies a day five days a week and hardly make a dent in-the vast inventory Unlike a streaming Service you can actually discuss the movies you rented with a real human being. I've learned some very interesting things related to the movie industry and different actors and actresses talking with Steve. Definitely make a trip to the store If you are in the surrounding area you'll love discovering film's new and old . Even make a trip if you're not in the local area it's a real unique experience.
