I waited 7 weeks for a package of two N64 roms from from Gamehoard. I was In contact with them since the 3rd week and support was absolutely abysmal. They would just suggest I provided the wrong address, or that it was somehow my fault. They do not take accountability and will run you around with pointless messages until you get frustrated enough to just give up. They couldn't even consider for a moment giving me a refund, it was seemingly I possible for them to even consider or comprehend the thought of a refund. Do not order from them. My **assumption** is that they never sent the package in the first place. They take a picture of the envelope with your address on it and act like that is all the proof they need. Don't waste your time with them. Use ebay, lukiegames, pnpgames etc. Use literally any other site and avoid this pathetic excuse for a website. read more

I ordered two games from them online. I'm from Ottawa. They are located in the greater Toronto area. So tell me why the shipping is going to take an estimated "4-6 weeks" when they advertised 3-9 business days. If I would have known this I would NOT have purchased from them. When I received my video game it unfortunately didn't work with my Nintendo switch console despite cleaning the lens, so I sent the game back for exchange or refund and after testing it they told me that the game worked so they didn't want to refund me despite my numerous requests. I'm very disappointed and will never order from them again. read more

They had sent the wrong game, and then it was a huge hassle to try to get sent the right one. They refused to pay for the shipping even though it was their error, and didn't listen or care about legality for businesses. I came very close to reporting them. read more

They scammed my daughter. They never mailed her product after she paid her hard-earned money. She notified them after a month that she didn't receive it and they flat out refused to refund her money. Not only that, they said they knew that we didn't get the product and they never notified us. My daughter kept checking the mail regularly. She was so excited to receive this game because it was discontinued but gamehoard.com said they had it! They let her pay for it, didn't send it and refused to give her money back. They scammed this little girl of her money. They said she gave the wrong address. She did not - I have the receipt! She gave the correct address. They admitted this fact in writing but still refused. They said Canada Post didn't recognize my address where I receive mail regularly. This is dishonest. They were attempting to manipulate us but got caught. All of their lies to us are in writing and I was patient with them. I gave them every opportunity to make this purchase right and they flat out refused. The moment you walk in and take a look around you start to realize that walked right into the twilight zone and went back in time of old video games of cartridges... either that your in a museum of gaming. The store is big spacious and FILLED with old classics and new games, from NES to the newest games they got it! They even sell a good variety of modern systems to reliably play the games they sell. It just blows my mind though that they have a lot of original systems games (nes, snes, Nintendo 64, etc) in original packaging!! I seriously couldn't hold in the excitement about that BUT I do warn you that the prices are more so based on collector and rarity value so be prepared to have your jaw drop. Other wise this store is great and I plan to come back more often! read more

I used to be a big fan of this store. Their selection of retro games is hard to match. However, their decision to sell a Nintendo Switch "bundle" for $800+ is despicable. They claim that the system isn't marked up, but it is. You have to buy a bunch of garbage titles that nobody would normally buy and useless accessories with it. On too of that? They go onto their social media and tell anyone who complains to "stop griping" if they don't have the money. I'll never shop there again. read more

Came into the store last week with my friend to speak with Zachary to pick up an unmarked price for DK3 and MK3 (along with a DS and Vita game that were price marked). I spoke with Zachary who said MK3 on the SNES was $39.99 plus tax. I came into the store a few days later to pick it up but another representative was there who quoted $50 when he scanned it. I explained to him this is not what I was initially was told. He said "well talk to Zachary because I don't know, there's no sticker on the box". I picked up DK3 and left. A couple days later I called Zachary who confirmed it was $39.99. I said I will pick it up when he's working because his co-worker misquoted me. Zachary confirmed his work hours as I wanted to make sure I met with him to purchase the game since I was previously misquoted. When I came in today, Zachary said "sorry it's $49.99". I tried to explain to him multiple times that he quoted me on more than one occasion that the price was $39.99. He began to deny saying that he quoted me this price, and that he never confirmed anything on the phone. Flat out blatant liar. Instead of trying to rectify the situation, all he did was make bs excuses and take customer phone calls in between our conversation. Then he kept going on video game price charting to tell me how expensive the game is..and that "well now it's $50". It seems like they make prices on the fly whenever they feel like it, and don't uphold their prices to customers. I spend hundreds of dollars at that store only to be treated so poorly. After trying to speak with Paul the manager...I was told "he doesn't want to speak with you". After claiming I will be writing a review of my transaction, Zachary proclaimed "I don't care about our reviews on facebook". They may have some real nice games, but they have absolute piss poor customer service, namely Zachary. They lost my business..and I considered trading in my N64/gamecube collection to them. Avoid at all costs. If you want to be treated fairly, go see Blake at We Got Games in Shoppers World Brampton. I know it's only $10..but it's about principle.
