I was having a hard time tracking down a physical copy of the Lunar Remaster and was told by a kind employee at EB that it's only really sold at Video Games Plus if I wanted a physical copy. It's far from where I am in Newmarket, but I figured, why not. I called ahead of time to confirm they'll have a copy, and the employee really didn't sound like he wanted to answer questions. Fine, I'm just going to get a game. We went the morning of, at opening, because I wasn't sure if a) they'd have more a few copies and b) how popular it was going to be. They opened half an hour late and the employee, who I think is the same one I talked to previously, really didn't seem like he wanted to be there. We got my game and left. I'm a little surprised I got it at the same price that I've seen online because a lot of their other selections were far too expensive that I'd consider buying any of it. Some of the cases didn't look like they'd been taken care of and, while store was tidy, I can't say it was very organized. Not sure how you can screw up so much in a short time, but they did. I feel like they could go under at some point because they probably aren't competing with EB, and am physical store for overpriced retro stuff is a hard thing to keep up with. But maybe the clerk wouldn't care anyway.

On my second order with them I purchase several games for black Friday. I got my delivery late…read more(which was understandable as there was a post Canada strike going on at the time). The games arrived on december 24th, while I was with my in-laws for Christmas. The packages were left on my front door which is directly on a busy street (I never gave my consent for this). Obviously the packages got stolen by the time I was able to come back. I message them and they told me they "would investigate the issue and get back to me". No answers, I send several email throughout the months requesting an Update and got pretty much the same message every time. While they offer decent prices, I am extrimely disapointed by their custommer service

So my Playstation 3 has been running extremely hot and loud for several months now. I was tempted…read moreto just flat-out upgrade, but I noticed that Gamerama, which is super close to my place, claimed to be able to fix game consoles, so I figured why not try and save a couple hundred bucks? Big mistake. I showed up around noon on a weekday and the place was empty. There was one guy behind the counter looking at something on his phone, and it took him a solid two minutes to look up and address me. I probably should've left at that point. I explained the situation to him, and made a point to stress that the machine is running very hot and very loudly, and he said it wouldn't be a problem and that they could do it for $50. I asked if they guarantee their work, and he said that it's not going to be a problem. In retrospect, I should've pushed for an actual answer to that question. Cut to a couple of days later and I get a call that the machine is ready for pickup. I walked right over to Gamerama and told a different person I was picking up my Playstation 3. He found my machine and explained that he replaced a certain component and cleaned out the dust. I asked what was wrong with it, and his response to that was confusion. He didn't realize there was anything wrong with it, and when I told him the issue, he said that problem might be fixed but that he would knock $5 off the price. Like, why did the guy I left the machine with not explain that there was a problem with it? What kind of absurd incompetence is this? Anyway, I took the Playstation 3 home and - surprise, surprise - the heat-and-noise issue was still there. What a joke Gamerama is. They scammed me and for what? $45? How on earth is that worth it to them? Insanity.
